Extremely nice staff that were very willing to help us out with reservations and spoke perfect English. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice view. The onsen was spacious, the rooftop pool was heated and quite large. There also is a tent-sauna on the roof.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short stroll from the train and bus stations, and from numerous restaurants, some of which, as we learned from a booklet available for pick-up next to reception, provide discounts to residents on production of your room key. English-speaking staff are efficient, cheerful and helpful, and the free umbrellas at the hotel entrance were appreciated on rainy days. Yutaka are also provided for wearing in the hotel. A highlight is the large onsen on the 14th floor, which looks out over the city and sea. There's also a pool, hot tub and jacuzzi on the rooftop, sitting areas in the lobby, and - at least when we stayed - a drinks deal throughout the afternoon and into the evening - so the hotel is a place where you can comfortably spend time in, not just to sleep. Recommended.

Excellent location, wonderful aesthetic, great room facilities, and solid hotel amenities. The baths were very relaxing and we found ourselves spending a lot of time there at the beginning and end of the day. English-speaking staff wasn't always available, but when they were they were extremely helpful with helping us book reservations for other activities in the city. After we departed, one of our companions had left some valuables behind by mistake and the staff was exceptional with aiding them in shipping the items to another city we were in. We were blown away by the value of this hotel especially with such reasonable rates. (We didn't have breakfast so I cannot comment on it.) 100% would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Beppu.

The staircase leading to the rooftop pool had a bit of a musty smell. We had also forgotten to pick up our yukatas on the first day and they had run out for several days, so we couldn't get it until the last day of our stay. No sauna/cold bath on the women's side.

Good location just off the main road in central Beppu, les than 5 minutes on foot from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus station, loads of eating and drinking places close-by, also public baths off course. The hotel is run very efficiently, all staff very professional, hotel’s bathing facilities also very good. Our room had a Japanese style bathroom.

We paid for hotel breakfast on the second day of our stay. Good buffet selection allowing you to sample some local specialties, but I am not a great fan of buffet meals in general. Everything else was very very good. There are two buildings to the hotel, we stayed in the main building, so can’t comment about the annex building.

Very modern hotel. Reception staff were really helpful and most spoke good English. Had the option of using their yukata and obi. Lots of colours to choose from. Not sure why they charge for the obi? Really lovely spacious room. Super clean. Roof top pool was a real bonus. It was also very warm… think it might be heated with water from a hot spring? Also had a communal bath area and a sauna on the roof. There was a rooftop bar but wasn’t open during our stay. Only open during summer months. There was a complimentary soft drinks, coffee and cake service in the afternoons. We were able to park the car in a neighbouring car park where the hotel had a partnership agreement for just 200¥ over night.

Free non-alcoholic drinks from 2pm-10pm. Alcoholic drinks free flow at just 1000Y. Comfortable stay, room size was good. Lobby was modern. Gym facilities was good.

No carpark available in the hotel. Needed to park elsewhere at a multi-storey carpark about 5 min walk away - there was a power trip and the fire engines were there - the lifts were disabled and we had to walk up the stairs in the dark alone which was scary, even in the day. Hotel breakfast was bento style, did not opt for it as it was not value for money. Food options were limited around the area, had to walk a distance to search for dining options.

This modern facility is conveniently located near a major road, Beppu Station, and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and tastefully styled with modern amenities. Despite the high season, I thought the price was quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We enjoyed the rooftop swimming pools and the spa. It was a perfect way to wrap up the day of travel and sightseeing. Although we did not take advantage of it, we appreciated the room charge feature from the nearby restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with lots of local flavors. It was tough to choose what to eat. I would have to come back and stay at least two nights to enjoy all the food offered at the buffet!

There was nothing that we did not like about the hotel.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and as helpful as possible. The glamping pods were very big, comfortably accommodating a family of four and a quite absurd amount of luggage. Each pod had an excellent personal shower, with shared toilet and bathroom facilities very nearby. Free soft drinks and coffee were always available, as we're amenities like towels, plates, cutlery, cold water, toiletries. Meals are provided for breakfast and in the evening you get to cook a large and varied meal on wood fired barbecue and gas stove for soups and broths. The sauna was very nice, with an ice bath alongsi and water infused with the locally roasted tea to pour on the coals. The views from the site are stunning and it's a short stroll to the mountain top for some amazing 360 vistas.

The room was big, clean nice and comfortable. The view was excellent. They have rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzi. View was nice at the rooftop. The free drinks in the evening were nice. They have free orange juice, apple juice, coffee, cocoa, tea and milk. The cocoa was very nice. You can request for kid's bedroom slippers also. Near Beppu station. About 5 min walk or less. Worth the price for the stay. Will definitely stay here again if come to Beppu.

The breakfast was expensive, and I did not take the breakfast. It will be more worth the price if it is a fully western plus Japanese buffet style.

Modern hotel in this onsen town which was the perfect base to explore the Hells of Beppu. Less than 5 minutes walk from JR Beppu station. The staff were very professional and spoke good english. The hotel had an onsen at level 12 which provided a nice view. The laundry room had 4 machines that did washing and drying altogether so it was very convenient. One cycle for about 3kg of clothes took 2 hours in total. The triple room was considered quite spacious.

As the beds are on the floor, it may be harder for seniors to get up.
