Onyado Nono hotels are an excellent choice! The traditional Japanese vibe and aesthetic make for a unique and memorable stay. The rooms are spacious (for Japan), offering plenty of storage space to keep things organized. They are also very quiet, with blackout blinds and a room air filter that adds to the comfort. The onsen is a standout feature. While the facility here is smaller than their Kyoto sister hotel, I actually preferred it due to the better range of options in the women’s facility, including a jet pool, cold plunge, sauna, and baths of varying temperatures. The beds are comfortable, leaning on the firmer side, and the pillows at this location were more comfortable than those in Kyoto. However, I will say that the coffee machine at the Kyoto location was better. Overall, I highly recommend Onyado Nono hotels for anyone seeking a blend of traditional atmosphere and modern amenities.

The hotel was clean and fresh and had a beautiful onsen in it. It is right next to SensĹŤ-ji you can't get closer. So many food options and tourist things around it. I was on the 5th floor and it was nice and quiet.
The bed and pillows were a little hard but that seems normal for Japan, the staff were very happy to provide me with extra pillows with a choice or soft or hard which was very appreciated.

Location, room size and comfort
Breakfast was expensive; foreigners not allowed in spa with tattoos (I understand a public onsen, but private hotel still not allowing tattoos? )

The location is wonderful - so central to my favorite area in Tokyo and tons of restaurants and bars. The onsen is in the basement and is very clean, the water is very hot! You get robes and a basket to bring down to the onsen. I also appreciated that they have blackout curtains on the windows which allowed us to sleep better. They also let us do a late checkout (for a fee) and held our bags all day while we waited for our night flight from Haneda. The staff was friendly and helpful.
This was my mistake but I thought the hotel would feel more high-end or boutique-y. It had a more corporate feel because it's a Dormy Inn. It was a busy, crowded hotel with lots of families, which was not what we had in mind for our honeymoon. I should have selected a smaller hotel. However, the location and amenities outweigh the bad. I think it would be perfect for a solo trip or a family trip. I saw lots of solo travelers and families which is great! Just not the vibe we were going for. Also, our room was very very small, and at first we were put on the second floor, which was right across from a noisy bar and had no view. We were able to move to a higher floor and that was much better!

Breakfast and night-time soba were awesome! We really enjoyed both. Breakfast had a good selection of Japanese dishes and some continental choices as well. The hot spring bath was amazing after a long day of exploring the city. The room and amenities were also very nice, with thoughtful touches for necessities. We had a partial view of the temple from our room. Location was great - right by the temple, where we enjoyed walking and listening to the chanting monks in the early morning (6:00); and so close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and train stations.

The whole facility was very clean and comfortable and very Japanese. When you first enter the hotel, you take off your shoes and there are shoe lockers to lock up your shoes! Then the entire hotel is lined with tatami and you walk around with your own socks or they provide you with toe socks. The hotel is so clean! In the rooms, they offer what we “the onsen outfit” and a basket with clean towels and toe socks to bring to the onsen. The onsen has lockers to store your baskets! The onsens have all kinds of amenities, and shampoos and face creams, etc. after the onsen. You can cool off with ice cream and/or ice pops and a wonderful massage chair! There is also laundry facility which in wasn’t mentioned in the Booking.com site! The hotel is right next to the senso-Ji temple. Which, we enjoyed lots of amazing small eats and enjoyed walking around the temples at Day time and night time. For those with young adult kids, the Asakusa Uniqlo is about a 5 min walk! There is also the Friendly Airport Luxury Limo bus depot 5-10min walking distance! Very convenient location! Would definitely stay there again the next time I’m in Tokyo!

I like the services the facilities (onsen, massage chair), free meals and drinks. I like the room. I like the neighborhood as not too crowded. I like the size of the room and cleanliness of overall hotel.
When I first entered the hotel, the hotel staff said my reservation was in the main building. When I checked with the main building turned out I was right in the first place. I felt annoyed because I had to bring two suitcases back and forth. The direction from the train station should be more clear, especially if you had to bring suitcases along the way and it's hard to climb stairs with those suitcases.

Great modern hotel in Asakusa! The location is perfect, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is very clean, with tatami on every floor (you actually have to remove your shoes before entering). You open the room with a keycard – no physical keys. The room was clean and comfortable, had a/c and all the necessary amenities. The staff was polite and helpful. Also, there are free noodles 🍜 during dinner time and a reading room full of manga with two massage chairs. A special mention for the amazing onsen ♨️ available in the hotel. It’s very atmospheric, with wall pictures of Edo Period. The hot spring water is dark brown, almost black. There is one bigger and one smaller area, a cold and a hot bathtub and showers. Separate areas for men and women. Great hotel to stay if you like Asakusa!

The breakfast was very good! It was a traditional Japanese breakfast with little to no western dishes so keep that in mind. The onsen was great after a loong day of walking! Also they offer free Yakult in the morning and Ice cream at night. Also they give out free take away drink coupons from 5-8pm(If I'm remembering correctly). Also free house made ramen noodles from 9-11pm (If I'm remembering correctly). Also I really liked that no outside shoes are allowed in the hotel. There are lockers at the entrance to store your shoes. It keeps the hotel and tatami mats very clean.
Only downside I could find was the distance to the Ginza train line was a bit of a walk.

1- The location was wonderful/ right outside Senso-ji but also quiet at night. 2- the staff was so professional and courteous. They could answer all my questions and help with anything - baby bed, tattoo covers, luggage forwarding, Taxi calling, etc. 3- The amenities provided were all that we needed- towels, shampoo, soda, toothbrushes, hairbrush, pajamas, etc and water, yakult, ice cream, nightly half size ramen 4- I loved being able to walk around in socks and not worry about getting dirt on them from our shoes. It made the room floor much cleaner as well 5- this was our first onsen so there is not much of a comparison but the facility was very nice and had many bath options. 6- laundry (free washing, 100yen dryer). There are 4 washers and 4 dryers. I never had to wait for laundry. This was wonderful since we only brought a few pair of clothes each and my 4 month old had a blow out on the plane and we needed to do laundry the first night .
We had many drink tickets left when we left since we were only able to get them 1 evening due to the time.
