I loved the smaller sized dorm rooms great for socializing while having your own privacy. The location was perfect as well.

I wish the showers were on the 3rd floor

Nice staff, always helpful. Enough showers so you don't have to wait. 2 washing machines. Decent location, as expected a microwave if you wanted to grab a quick bite from convenience store. There is a hidden restaurant next to the lounge. I didn't make use of it, but I always seen happy people at the restaurant.

2 person room with 2 beds. Expected 2 separate beds but ours were two mattresses laying next to each other. But it was a small problem, we solved it by changing one of the pillows to the other side so we won't be looking at each other.

I am so thankful we booked this as our first accommodation in Japan. Very easy to connect with the staff prior to our arrival to Japan via Booking.com chat. All the staff spoke some English. We paid a very reasonable price for a private room. Check in time is 15:00-23:00. Check out time is 10:00am and they request you remove the linen from the beds before you leave the room. Prime location in Asakusa. Walking distance to all the desirable shops, attractions and restaurants in the area including Sensoji Temple. Close to Asakusa train station (about 11 minutes walk) which is a main hub to connect you with any train line you need. It is very easy to get here from the airport. The private room was small but perfect, everything you need in a room. The bathrooms and shower facilities were extremely clean and well kept. They offered free items such as tooth brush, hair brush, razors, facial cleanser & moisturizer, even a face mask! They have towel rentals for 300 yen and bicycle rentals for 300 yen (although we tried to rent a bike and were told there was only 1 available that day). They have a restaurant attached to the hostel but we did not get a chance to eat there. There is a communal eating/work space on the main floor. I found when we were there it was a quiet atmosphere with a lot of families staying in the hostel. Definitely did not get a party vibe or super social vibe. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely book here again.

Overall a pretty good place, would recommend it. It was very clean, the rooms were nice, and the layout of the floor was good. The common area is pretty nice and people seemed to hang out around it. The location is pretty good in asakusa.

The dorm rooms are basically just bunk beds so theres no real sound dampening between beds. So if you're unlucky and get a snorer (like I did one night), you're kind of out of luck.

The building and amenities were wonderful, the room was beautiful. The location was good as it was about a ten minute walk to two well connected train stations, the temple and shopping/restaurant area.

My only issue was the noise in that the walls were very thin. I had to tell tourists to be quiet as they were shouting at 11pm. This is not the hostels fault but the walls in general were very thin. I would also say more hangers are needed in the room and it would be nice to have two keys if you are two guests as the door locks every time you leave the room.

The room and facilities are clean and well maintained, showers are only in first floor so you can access it 24h without disturbing other when sleeping. They also have coin laundry in case you need to wash your clothes. The dorm room is autolock so its safe and the facilities are clean. There's an Italian restaurant on first floor as well that open until about 10 or 11pm

Unfortunately the AC in the dorm was a bit leaking water, but it wasn't much of a problem since my luggage wasnt so big

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The area this place is at is also very beautiful and lively. It's very close to Senso-ji Temple. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have free tea and coffee if you need it to start the day right.

They allow you to leave your luggage before your check-in time, which is very much appreciated. But only after 8am as the entrance is closed until 8am. Please plan to arrive around 8am or you will be stuck and will have to wait until they open.

300 yen for bike rental!! I was wondering where tourists rented their bike, so actually it was from hostels like this! Make sure you take advantage of this. There is also an elevator if you have heavy luggage which is awesome (not that we did). It was also right next door to the Senso-ji Temple markets, Ueno park (various museums) and the Tokyo Skytree. The area is also perfect for a one way express train away from the airport. So if you are arriving late from the Narita airport, we definitely suggest exploring this area first. Otherwise if you have a booking in Shinjuku or Shibuya, you would have to exchange two or three different train lines which can be annoying! The receptionists themselves were pretty good at speaking English, especially in comparison to most hotel receptionists, as most of them are probably working there to improve on their English in the first place anyway. Our room itself was actually quite spacious and "open natural lighting". This is really good if you are Australian and you prefer wooden interior. I didn't like some other hotels which were "darker" and more "dim light". The price is really good! Kind of wish we stayed here instead of our first hotel at the beginning of our trip (which was also triple / quadruple the price too!). There was also laundry too, if you are someone who likes to do laundry a lot while they travel.

I didn't like that we were only given one key, and the room would automatically lock. However, they gave us clear instructions and reminded us about this issue. But my partner still forgot when he left the room and filled his water, so we had to ask the reception for the master key to open the door. The bed itself was a futon style, so you can feel the floor a bit. But that's natural for the price and we were there for one night anyway. Shower was a bit small but really clean. You had to go to the bottom floor. These are honestly minor things though, and if you are used to hostels you know this is not really an issue but booking.com is forcing me to write more ~

Conveniently located near Sensoji Temple, Kappabashi Street, and other Asakusa attractions. The bed was sturdy, wide, and comfortable. Also, the curtains around the bed worked great at blocking out light. The shared spaces were nice and clean enough, though a little small, and did not invite a communal hostel experience.

The shower area is on the main floor, and the shower cubicles are a little small. Though this was manageable. I would appreciate a slightly more clean shower area, with the removal of hairs and dust. But this was not very bad.

I really liked the whole concept of the hotel, it was creative. Even if it is a small room to rest it's super clean and well designed. Every floor has enough toilets and sinks also with a very clean and cute design. The is a table on the first floor where you can work if you have meetings and for me the best thing was it's location. You are right behind the temples, so if you are an early bird like me, you can go out at 7:00am and walk around without more people. :)
