Miyako Fukuoka combines comfort, convenience, and excellent location. It boasts an unbeatable location right beside Hakata Station with B1 connection via exit East 7 of the airport trainline. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious enough to ensure a relaxing stay. Its proximity to transport hubs allows easy access to Fukuoka's attractions and beyond. A standout addition is the new McDonald located on the B1 floor, offering convenience for a quick meal or snack. This is our family's repeated stay and top choice for future ones.

Room price is slightly high. Will be perfect if coin laundry is provided.

The Miyako Hotel is located directly across the street from Hakata Station. It is also connected underground to Hakata Station. The rooms were very nice (we had two rooms). I liked the iPad to control the lighting, AC, do not disturb/make up room, etc. The tv had lots of channels available. The hotel WiFi was high-speed--I could text videos almost instantly. I also liked that you could tap your room key in the elevator, which would take you to your floor without pressing the floor button. The front desk, bell services, and housekeeping did a great job; they were helpful and courteous.

The temperature in room 904 did not adjust well, despite changing the temperature control. There was no problem adjusting the temperature in room 903.

Stone throw away from Hakata Station, there is a little known underground link that spare one battle with the traffic crossing and the elements. Spacious room makes for a relaxing stay without tripping over opened luggages. Special mention for the breakfast - both the American and Japanese are 👍. Had to go easy on the raw fish due to recovering from a bad tummy.

The public bath is a tight squeeze considering the number of rooms. The outdoor pool is a shared pool so hassle of getting dressed. Yea and there is probably no view, unless you get the topmost floor rooms, but it really shouldn’t be what you are looking for here!

Lobby area is rather small but pleasant and clean. Onsen spa is quite nice - very clean, comfortable - pool looks good too but we could not use it because of heavy rain. Room has a nice space with a very comfortable bed. Staff is generally courteous.

Lobby is at the 2nd floor and no staff is stationed at the first level to help luggage or anything even during the prime time. Luxury hotels should provide the check-in service at the ground floor as well when the lobby is at the different floor. I found the staff member who was taking care of large amount of luggage (belongs to the tour group?) and asked her to give us some assistance (we had multiple luggage too) for check-in but she did nothing - kind of ignored us. Could not get into the top floor bar at 6:30pm!! Attendant said it is fully booked. Not sure it is a realistic expectation for hotel guests to reserve a BAR seating in advance.

Miyako Hotel Hakata's location was great. Once your step out of Hakata Station at L1, Chikushi Gate which is the East, you will see the hotel directing in front of you. However you may also enter via B1, somehow found it to be a roundabout way. But it is linked to the subway and JR stations. The breakfast was served on the 13th floor which is the top floor. There are 2 breakfast sets every morning either American or Japanese. I find the omelette in the American set too much for me. I like the Japanese set better, although it means I was eating rice every morning but the food was just right for me. There were also fruit juices, coffee and tea but everything is prepared only when you are there so the food was warm to my liking. It is not buffet-style. It is all served as a set to your table. Also both indoor and outdoor onsen are on the 13th floor but not visible when you go for your breakfast.

Nothing.

venue: is excellent. Connected to subway/jr station hakata stayed 3 nights in 1421 room: best set up ever. there's space for everything. hook for clothes, toiletries in bathroom beddings: we love the firm bed but pillow has been terrible. toilet: even bubble bath foam is provided with bathtub, razor and toothbrush are of good quality. noise: none curtains: both day n night curtains kept the room litted like how we want it food: easy access to all restaurant. although i dont eat, MCD is right on 1st floor

soft pillows and sometimes un-smiling front desk folks

Just next to Hakata Station , surrounded by a few good malls - AMU, Hankyu , Kitte! Perfect stay for family, the room is decent sized and it’s well connected to the malls/train station. If you drive, the carpark is within the hotel. Hotel staffs are very polite. There is a rooftop pool and a children under 3 pool filled with yellow ducks. Very pleasant experience ! There is a MacDonald and Starbucks in the same building as the hotel. Superb

Hakata can be a little overcrowded. If the hotel allows for some flexibility such as early check in with younger child will be good, because we could only check in at 3pm sharp. Otherwise no big issue, a very good stay.

Location wise it's right at Hakata Station/Bus Terminal, doesn't get any better than this. Rooms were spacious and facilities and in-room amenities were fantastic, even the room slippers provided were so thick and fluffy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and I slept well. Had such an enjoyable stay. Basement has maccas and there are konbinis nearby incase of any hunger pangs.

Just a little qualm but not a dealbreaker by any means: 1. The hairdryer provided is the same as what I get at those really cheaper business hotels like Sotetsu/Best Western. Its like everything that Miyako has to offer is elevated then there's the hairdryer breaking that pattern. 2. No washing machines available within the building itself.

comfort and cozy. The location is great just next to Hakata train station and near Nissan Rent-a-Car. The breakfast at the moment is ordered at the table with Western and Japanese menu. No buffet breakfast but is good.

Nothing but if no late check-out charge with an hour is great. And hopefully after the pandemic the Spa can provide towels.

Unlike the Miyako in Kyoto, this 208-room property is not associated with Westin/Marriott. The hotel is relatively new, around four years old when writing this. We picked the Miyako Hotel Hakata for its excellent location right adjacent to the Hakata train station. The reception is on the third floor. The staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms are excellent - very spacious and bright. Fully equipped with any amenities you might need and with fantastic beds and pillows. The lights, curtains and drapes are controlled by a tablet on a bedside table. The hotel features a lovely outdoor pool on the top floor amd also has a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We tried the ten course dinner and it was very good. When in Fukuoka we will pick the Miyako again. One of the top hotels we have stayed at during our many hotel nights in Japan.
