Beautiful rooms and a cool vibe. This place is a 15 min walk from the station and is in a residential neighborhood. This does mean you are a little far from places you might want to go to as a tourist, but the public transportation system in Hiroshima is pretty great. The hotel has everything you will need, but some things (body lotion, robes, iron, etc) need to be "rented" (but it's free). Our room had an emergency exit which meant that there was only room for one chair in the balcony, which was disappointing. It would have been nice if they could have accommodated two smaller chairs as it defeats the socializing purpose of the balcony if only one guest can be there at a time. The in-room coffee provided was of excellent quality, and the staff were very helpful in coordinating with the luggage delivery service.

The aesthetics of this place are top notch, it’s a smaller hotel but the rooms are very spacious and the design touches throughout the building give a really nice experience. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful, some of the best I’ve had in Japan so far. Breakfast was on the smaller side but beautifully presented as well as being high quality and locally sourced. It is located on a quieter street away from the main urban hustle and bustle but the main station is easily accessible and Hiroshima is a highly walkable city.

Nothing, I wish I’d have given another day for Hiroshima to stay another night here.

The staff are amazingly attentive and helpful, and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The room is big and very comfortable, with a sliding door to a private balcony. It's an easy walk from the railway station (with perfect instructions provided) and about 40 minutes' flat walk to the A-bomb dome, peace gardens and museum, but there are buses and trams nearby. Breakfast is available and there are lovely amenities available in the lounge area. The sake tasting is interesting and fun too. Definitely recommended. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Staff were amazingly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The experience given was very personal. Stayed 3 nights here with family and friends, enjoyed every day. Room was excellent. Facilities like toilet were exceptionally modern and incorporated many thoughtful features including being able to dry your clothes in the toilet thru very effective ventilators Duvets were extremely comfortable too and drinking water was free flow

If anything, breakfast was a little modest but very well thought out.

It isn’t SUPER easy to get to via public transport. It’s a bit of a walk from the station or the nearest tram stop, which is fine unless you have luggage with you. Granted, I visited during summer, so the 15 minute walk in the heat felt unbearable. Any other season it’d probably be no big deal!

I loved Lazuli, it was a home away from home. Very spacious room and mine had a small tatami area. Bathroom is fully equipped. One evening when I got back they also had a sake tasting going on so found some new ones i like. Staff are very friendly and will try to help you with any questions you might have.   Small walk away (5-10 mins) from the tram lines which take you deeper into the city.

The location is new and it’s concept is so well thought through. The staff was nice and we even got to taste regional sake and snacks. The breakfast was also nice which we booked for one morning. The room is super spacious and you feel right at home. The location was a 10 min walk from the train station - you think you are walking into rural area however it is actually quiet nice to be outside of the busy areas.

The property was in a convenient location just a short walk from Hiroshima station. You are treated like an honored guest here. I highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Hiroshima, this is the place to stay. Great value for a spacious and clean room. The staff gave some of the best service I have received. They are kind and knowledgeable and offer services such as sake tasting and koto workshop. I would definitely stay again

We loved our stay at Lazuli! The hotel is trendy and our room was very big and cozy. The two single beds were huge and the amenities provided very nice. The staff is young, very nice and speaks English well. Recommended!

The position is ok but not ideal, as it is far from the city center (20/25 minutes with public transport) and in the area there are not many good restaurants or things going on at night. The train station is 10 min away by foot.

I had a room on the 2nd floor. The staff was very nice and the room was very spacious with all the amenities we needed and more - there was even Alexa in the room. The bathroom had three separate rooms (main with sink, mirror and the toilet staff, the room for the bath and the room for wc). View on the river from the balcony was nice and I liked the location - it was close to the Hiroshima station and not that far to the shopping districts, but you have to walk a little.

There was an emergency escape on the balcony and probably that’s the reason there was no chair there. Not a big deal though, the stay was still very comfortable
