The room was spacious and I liked the design (kind of a mixture of Scandinavian and traditional Japanese, if I had to describe it). Comfortable, clean beds, good sound insulation and blackout possibilities ensured a good rest.

The little service area wasn't thought through. There would have been drip coffee which effectively wasn't usable unless you want some melted cup-plastic as a creamer. The jugs provided for drinking water probably waste a lot of water. The whole service area concept is a fixable issue which hopefully gets addressed with reviews like this, as this hotel would otherwise be perfect for families.

The hotel is small. Close to the main railway station which is good for walking distance with a heavy backpack or suitcase. Away from the main "attractions" which for us it was totally ok. It's clean and very quiet. The biggest room in Japan we had during our entire stay, plus had a balcony! The toilet is separated from the shower which is very convenient. Very big and comfortable beds. In general very comfortable stay. There was one boy at the "reception" whom we only saw once during check-in. He didn't speak English at all. We spoke through a translator. We only got the key and a wi-fi password from him. And we could leave our luggage before check in time. There was no one there on the day of check-out, no one provided us check out instruction before, there was a phone number we tried to text via WhatsApp but unsuccessfully. We just left our key and left. We know that many hotels struggle with English speaking receptionist in Japan but they do their best to make guests comfortable by providing different information. Here wasn't like that. If there was a staff on site to talk to and ask about different things, we would give "10" as this was a very good hotel. Unfortunately, we had the impression that it was a ghost hotel.

Very spacious room with beautiful interior design We had a small sofa and two big beds in our room Around 5-8 min walk from station Supermarket on a street parallel We walked 30 minuted to the memorial park - there are also metro and tram lines very close by

We had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony facing a parking lot. Behind the parking lot was a main road which meant lots of noise from the pedestrian crossing (makes sound whenever switches to green) and also traffic noise. It was ok for us as we had ear plugs during the night, but without them it would have been quite noisy to sleep (even though windows were closed) We would suggest cups and coffee/tea offering in the room. In ours we only had a kettle. It was ok for us as we had our own tea bags. Not an issue for us, but maybe useful info for other guests: no reception during the night- you can call a number in case of any issues. We also think there was no washing machine.

A very well-thought-out hotel in all respects. Rooms were modern, clean and large - larger than most Japanese hotels in this price range - though still very much in the Japanese style. Excellent wifi - a separate network for each room. Awesome bathrooms. The lobby, which doubles as a small lounge, is cute and small. You'll be the only one in there most of the time. Staff work from a small wooden table as you walk in - all very 'WeWork' and modern ;) Location is excellent - close to Hiroshima station but also close to all the restaurants and izakayas in the center of town. There is no doubt that the hotel caters to many foreigners, but you'll still feel more like you're staying in a Japanese guesthouse than a 'western' hotel.

The level of English spoken at the front desk was adequate, but we needed a lot of help with google translate to answer basic questions. Having said that, on the day we checked out, there was a receptionist who spoke excellent English.

What a great boutique-style hotel, in a super convenient location. The reception was incredibly thoughtful: the receptionist encouraged me to sit down in their lobby/lounge area where she went over things and took my information (passport, address). I was even treated with a warm welcome beverage. Since the hotel doesn't have a kitchen for making breakfast, they had suggestions for both Japanese and western style breakfast places in the vicinity. The room itself was immaculate in its cleanliness, and very spacious. The lighting and decor choices were great. The location was right next to the main train station (7 minute walk), and well connected to the tram/light rail system that takes you to most of the best parts of town. I also greatly appreciated the fact that they offered both cold and hot filtered drinking water on tap in the lobby, with pitchers to take to your room. If you carry a water bottle around like I do, you'll appreciate this as it seems more uncommon in Japan

Everything was great - there was nothing I didn't like about this place.

Rooms are huge by Japanese standards. Plus, they are so cozy too. Staff was always very welcoming and polite with pretty good English skills to boot. Loved the shower/bath combo too; it was so relaxing. Plus, since the hotel is just a 10 minute walk to Hiroshima station and 20 minutes to Peace Memorial Park, you've access to everything big in Hiroshima. This place is an absolute gem and if you're visiting the city, you should definitely stay here.

Only complaint was that there was only one relatively small pillow per bed. (Now, we did not ask for another which probably could have been provided). It did not bother us, but this is a small hotel, only 4 stories with about 3 rooms per floor. So, you aren't going to get a fitness center, included breakfast, and the like. Not that we personally missed any of that, but if you're looking for something a bit more all-inclusive, then this probably isn't for you.

The hotel was in the perfect location to see the sights of the city. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly, be sure to ask for their recommendations as they helped me find the best food in the city.

Clean facilities and room. And, the staff’s desire to help you and your stay.

Booking.com. Booking.com did not deliver an important email on direction to enter the facility after hours. It wasn’t until I called the staff, sent a text to Booking that the email delivered to my box. I say this because my cousin stay at another hotel via booking and she had the EXACT same experience…no email telling her where and what to do, and she too talked with the local staff for over 30mins.

Located a short walk from the main railway station. Trams right at the doorstep. Restaurants and food stores located all around. My room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The property was spotlessly clean and situated in a quiet location. The staff were friendly and welcoming and spoke good English

Nothing. The property had everything I needed. No food was available but that wasn't an issue at all for me. Plenty of options in close proximity

I found this hotel very last minute because my cousin and I missed our train back to Tokyo and I’m glad we missed it! I wish I couldve stayed here longer! the staff was so nice and helpful and the commodities were top notch. The room was big and had a little balcony and the bathroom and shower were separate from the main room you had a lot of privacy. We ended up having the best beer and food that night in a local izakaya.

check out is at 10am :-(
