The Randor was located quite close to Hiroshima Station so we walked there after arriving on the Shinkansen. Very close to a number of tram routes as well as local train, convenience stores and restaurants in the station at ‘Eki Dining’. The beds were very comfortable and the unit had a spacious bath shower, separate toilet, and a generous hand basin area. We used the washing machine (no dryer) several times and they supplied some excellent drying racks. Reasonable kitchen items supplied. Good instructions supplied for the microwave, aircon and washing machine.

Would have liked slightly smaller beds, and have an extra armchair. (Only one armchair and a stool provided, no table to eat at.) If you are sensitive to noise, there was quite a bit of traffic noise through the window overlooking the street. (But we liked seeing the vibe of the city.) Theoretically, you could fit 4 people sleeping in the room but it would be a bit of a squash trying to manage it. REMEMBER TO TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR ROOM CHECKIN TICKET AS IT HAS THE DOOR CODE TO GET BACK IN!

The size of this room was so wonderful. Hotel rooms in Japan do tend to be a bit tight, so having a large, affordable room for a couple of nights was great. The layout of the hotel took me by surprise. After checking in, you go up to the floor of your room, and then walk along an outdoor balcony/hallway. Not a problem. Just surprised me. The bathroom was the standout. It actually felt like we had some privacy when using the toilet, unlike most hotel rooms. The shower was fantastic, and the bath was really nice also. There was a washing machine in our bathroom, but no dryer. The location is great for the station, and as we were only staying two nights, it suited us well. The tram that goes to the city centre, and the Peace Park is about a 5 minute walk away. There a few restaurants scattered around the area, and of course plenty of places near the station.

A smart modern hotel with comfy beds and a nice big bathroom. Good location for eating and travelling. It was great for us on a long trip to have a kitchenette and washing machine. The roof terrace was fantastic with views over the city. Just an easy 10 minute walk to the station - ideal for travellers with mobile luggage.

It was good to have a spacious room but it meant certain essential things were missing, like enough space to put clothes, bedside tables and lamps. I'd also recommend putting in a small table and chairs for eating, given that there is a kitchenette. (There are small low coffee tables and chairs but not designed for eating off). There is certainly room for this in the bare spaces. There's a difference between a stylish uncluttered feel and one that looks slightly unfinished.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Location is great, very near the JR station and street car stops. Staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage with them when we arrived before the check in time, so we could go off and explore. The room was spacious, with a fantastic bathroom, very modern and included a bath. Products were supplied and shampoo/conditioner was Elle Bache. The bed was comfortable and there was a washing machine which we could use, which was excellent. Overall it was a great hotel, one I would recommend and great value for money.

We really liked this place. It checked all the boxes for us. Very comfortable beds and pillows, very quiet, excellent temperature control in the room, lots of lots of hot pressurized water in the shower, and just a short walk from the train station. As usual, the staff was great, hard not to find great staff in Japan.

I hesitate to say anything negative. Japan simply does things a little differently. The rooms are generally a little smaller (however, this was an exception in that it was about the same size as a western hotel) and you will seldom find a nightstand next to a bed, and this was no exception. Also, the bathing area is designed for Japanese customs of washing and then soaking in a tub. So there’s usually not a shelf to sit your soap and shampoo on. But those are things you just have to get used to if you’re going to stay in hotels in Japan. We definitely recommend this hotel, and we would stay in it again if we came here.

This hotel was amazing! From the super helpful staff to the beautiful room and accommodations. The location was within walking distance to the train station as well as many sites around the city. The room was fantastic, plenty of space, and the outside patio was perfect after a long day with the outside bathtub and gorgeous views of the city. The japanese pajamas were a nice touch too and extremely comfy. I was having issues purchasing baseball tickets in Japan so I contacted the hotel from Osaka and they were able to get me tickets to the Carps game both nights I was there. A+++ for the staff going out of their way to assist me with that, and it was greatly appreciated!

The room was as described with everything you need for a few days, even a small kitchen (but no coffee maker!). The balcony was the highlight with the bathtub and a nice design. There was a full indoor bath as well with both bathtub and shower. The location is very convenient to get to from the train station, but a somewhat longer walk from sights e.g. like the peace museum. But it is a nice walk, so we did not mind that too much and preferred to be close to transportation options.

Charging for cleaning is quite unusual for a hotel, but for us it did not matter as we only stayed for a short time and did not want cleaning in the few days anyways. But at the price of the hotel, it seems greedy to charge extra. Apart from that not much to complain. I like my bed a bit softer, but that is personal preference.

Hotel room was large and bright. We had a balcony with a new of the city. There was also a rooftop terrace. The hotel had a reception and coffee/tea available to bring to your room. The bathroom was very big with an amazing shower and a standalone bathtub! The soap and shampoo smelled very good. There was also a washing machine in the room and we hung the clothes outside to dry. They had pajamas for the guests to wear at night. The beds were very comfortable. The location was near the train station and about 30 minutes walk to the memorial.

The air conditioner was dripping and there was a sewage smell blowing into the room.

Picked this hotel as it was just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station. Checking in was easy, the staff were friendly, and I was impressed by the size of the room - as I was staying alone it was probably overkill for me, but it was comfortable and quiet despite being on a major street. There are a few restaurants nearby but realistically you'll probably be spending more time in Hiroshima closer to the Peace Memorial Park or the Castle, each of which is around 30 minutes' walk from the hotel, or can be reached using public transport.

The room size is good enough for a family with two children. (It is quite crowded if occupied by 4 adults). I love the equipments in the room. The microwave oven is marvelous for reheating the food bought from convenience stores. The hair dryer is exceptional. Staffs are helpful and nice. The room is very clean and modern. The bed is comfortable.

The location is not the most convenient one. It is at the middle of the two tram station. The walking distance is within 10 minutes from Hiroshima Station. It is easy to walk with around 4 crossing road. Our check out day was rainy day. It was a little inconvenient. There was not plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but not far to find many especially inside Hiroshima station. Next, the road noise is all around the whole night. It’s better but still can hear (racing car at the mid night) if we close all the windows. They have affordable paid room cleaning service but need to notice them a day in advance.
