The hotel was clean, looked new, had parking facilities that were linked to the hotel. It was at a very convenient location next to the shopping street and walking distance from the castle. There are plenty of shopping and sight-seeing opportunities within the vicinity. Heating / cooling facilities are really good. Staff has limited English speaking abilities but enough to communicate our needs and understand check in procedures.

We stayed over the weekend, which meant that the surrounding streets were filled with many people and therefore, possibly lots of noise. We stayed on the 9th and 11th floor facing one of the streets where restaurants and pubs are and you can hear street noise till very late at night (about 2am).

The hotel is located right along Shimotori Shopping Arcade. Easy access to everything i.e. convenience store, shops & restaurant. There is a parking within the hotel property but with an extra charge which is worth paying. This property exceeded my expectation in terms of quality. Room size is big with new facility. Hotel staff communicates very good English. There amenity i.e. quality facial care & facial wash for you to pick at the hotel lobby. Moreover, there is 7-Eleven in the 1st floor. Super convenient!

Excellent location. You can go from Kumamoto station to the hotel very easy by city tram. The hotel is near to Kumamoto castle, Shimotori shopping arcade, convenience store, and many restaurant. The hotel is new facilities, there are microwave, ice maker, vending machine. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Air conditioner can adjust for heating or cooling. The hotel staff are very nice.

There are Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kumamoto Ginzadori PREMIER and Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kumamoto, it may be confusing.

- Modern hotel offering all comfort required. Clean rooms - comfortable beds - central location on walking distance from Kumamoto castle.

- Parking was full on arrival, which was a bit of a hassle given the location of the venue in the center of Kumamoto. Fortunately the staff kindly directed us to a public parking where places were still available about a 10 minute walk from the hotel

We were staying in a twin room with massage chair. The value for early booking was excellent. The hotel has a car parking facility but because we rented a taller car, it was already full. Still, There is a lot of alternative parking options near by. The hotel is walking distance to Kumamoto Castle. The main shopping area of Kumamoto and the Roofed Shimotori Shopping Street. So great great location.

Pro - new, clean, best value for money, room is specious (considering business hotel standard), perfect hot shower. Location is close to several shopping areas. Note - This hotel has a twin hotel with the same name, but different road name (both are within walking distance), this could be misleading, I checked-in at the wrong hotel and had to walk to another hotel.

Con - in-house parking fees are more expensive than outside 3rd party parking lot, the hotel charge a lump sum of JYP 1,800 a night, where you could find JYP 1,500/night nearby parking lot.

The location was great as it was right next to the main shopping street. Only 5-10mins walk from Kumamoto Castle Very close to tram station (even though I didn't use)

Great location close to shopping, castle and local tram. Comfortable and convenient with helpful professional staff.

Being right on the Ginza, there was quite a bit of street noise late at night and foot traffic around the hotel, especially on Saturday night.

Staff are really helpful and professional. I booked two rooms for 3 people but the staff explained me that one room is sufficient for all of us. And she helped me to call booking.com to cancel the booking of one room so that I will get my refund back.
