The location is excellent being within easy walking distance of the station, and the bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel! Breakfast was very good and better value than eating out. The onsen was very nice and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My room was next to the street so it was rather noisy while the trams were running. My bed's mattress was uneven, one side being lower than the other, which was a minor discomfort.

Clean and good location. Hot Spring is very good. Breakfast is good tase with Japanese Style.

the pillow provided it was too hard. the room quite small. and the car park was not free. There is fire alarm after we finished BF at the 1F so we have to use the stairs to 9F and almost have to carry the luggage by the stairs, luckily the elevator back to available. The information from the staff about the alarm was so bad they only give info with Japanese language.

the arrangement of breakfast was not satisfying because serving plates and pans/pots were put so close to each other making difficult for customers to help to every dish

The "traditional" room that I had booked was tidy, and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet, while limited in options, was delicious. The hotel is located between two tram stops, allowing for easy transportation around the city, and is a ten-minute walk from Kumamoto Station.

This is more of a personal opinion: while I did eventually get used to it, I really did not like the pillow provided as it was just too hard for my liking.

the room obviously were not very clean there were sock and left over stuff from the pass guest doesnt give a pleasant hotel experience as it was not so clean especially to japan standard

The room was very cosy and quiet, I had easy access to ice and vending machines. I liked spending time in my room.

The changing room of the onsen smelled a bit bad.

Conveniently located just 3 tram stops away from Kumamoto Station. You can select a pillow from different softness levels.

Rooms are very small and it is very difficult to place bigger suitcases in the room.

The hot spring was really nice with a clean shower place. The hotel has a welcome drink bar which provide alcohol and soft drinks.

The room was quite small to fit two beds, can’t place our luggage.

My room is double bunk bed with the top bed located just under the AC. I think it might disturb some guests who do not like AC that much, but I really like sleeping under AC, so that's great for summer in Kumamoto. Also, the natural onsen of the hotel is superb and relaxing. It also provides free drink (coffee/tea/some juice) in the morning time even though you didn't reserve for the breakfast. The location is also very convenient to travel in Kumamoto; the closest trams station is just 5 minutes away by walk. The hotel strongly supports environmental-friendly way of hoteling, they also give you bottles of water as complimentary if you don't need a room cleaning.

The room is a little bit small that the only place that I can open and manage my luggage is at the room corridor (the place where you put the shoes at in front of the shower room and toilet. Yet, it's reasonable for the price, I could tolerate that.
