The room was typically small. However it certainly met our needs. The location was perfect. Close to some tourist attractions and some lovely scenic walks along the water as well as a large shopping centre. The tram and bus were also very close by to reach other attractions. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding.

Although it was February when we stayed the room was stuffy. We could not work the air conditioning (suspect it was turned off for the winter) so slept with the window open.

Second stay in the hotel. We returned because five years ago we had a great large room with twin beds. This time we returned but the rooms were single beds and very small. But the hotel is lovely and the location unbeatable. I would be be more specific about room options on a third visit

Charming hotel in excellent location

Hotel is overrun by group tours, impossible to find a breakfast table for a single person. Restaurant closes really early at 19:30, so virtually impossible to have dinner in hotel after a full day. too.

The hotel room had a really rustic feel to it - at times, I felt myself transported to a family friend’s villa in southern Spain. While on the small size, the position of the furniture was well thought, making the room seem more spacious than it actually is. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the pillow provided was pretty good. The bathroom was also quite spacious. Location-wise, the hotel is located on Holland Street and not on the main road, but it is still easy to get to. It’s within walking distance to quite a few cafes and restaurants, as well as several major tourist attractions. (As a bonus, if you step out of the hotel when it’s bright and sunny, you will feel as though you’re in Europe.)

Not much to complain about. You just need to make sure that you’re walking along Holland Street, and not along the main road if you’re looking for the hotel.

Nice property in an old European style building. Located close to some of the main sights in town, a few minutes walk away from tram stops and the harbour (in case one wants to go to Gunkanjima). Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely room with views to the neighbourhood, close to many sights and also just a few steps to the street cars. Enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard and the sightseeing trip to view the city lights.

Staff was really kind location also fantastic, just everything is perfect!!!! Especially morning staff crazy cute i want to live nagasaki!!!!! Daisuki japan!!!! Ultra japan!!!!

Very beautiful building in a good location with easy access to all major attractions. Close to shops, restaurants and public transport.

The room was lovely but found the bed a little uncomfortable compared to other hotels we have stayed at.

Great value, tiny Western style room with everything my wife and I needed for our two night stay. About a 10 minute walk to the tram or there are closer buses.

Room was small, but met our needs, room was clean and comfortable, car parking was very convenient at the basement of the hotel, staffs are friendly and helpful.
