The hotel was tastefully decorated. There were a lot of surprises, (something like easter eggs) which would be one of the reasons for me to book this chain once again. The staff were helpful, the location is in a nice area, though it is a bit far from the train station. But well connected by Tram and Bus. If you take the tram from the railway station, you will need to change in the Shinchi China town stop and take a different tram from the opposite platform. Or take a bus or taxi. The room was clean with the amenities as per description. Overall a good booking for me.

The style of this hotel is very unique with old style class. The rooms are spacious with views over the little streets below. The double bed is huge and the room is clean and has everything you need. The breakfast spread was superior with so many choices and local delicacies - especially the little cakes! The hotel is located close to the historic Dutch slope and Glover gardens. It is also only a short walk to china town and under cover shopping mall and interesting eating places as well as the dining along the wharf. This was the perfect place to stay in Nagasaki

This is centrally located, near several attractions and within the old Dutch quarter itself. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. The surroundings have an European theme and there a couple of good bakeries right opposite the hotel. The room is sufficiently spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The beds were pretty high - and especially so by Japanese standards. The interior decor of the hotel is quite quirky as well.

Paid parking within the hotel's garage was a bit too pricey

It's a beautiful hotel. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Tram Stop very close. The rooms are a good size. Staff were incredible. Definitely a highlight. They are so helpful.

It's quite out of the way for most of the sights and sounds of Nagasaki, although it does really connect with a tram. The rooms are all tiled, no carpets. This is great for cleanliness but the room felt cold (not temperature, but atmosphere/feeling). Even just adding a rug to the room would feel more welcoming.

The hotel reminded us of a vintage/historical inn in Italy. It's cozy but comfortable. The location was fantastic. It's really close to the Oura Cathedral and the Holland Hill. The small cafes and restaurants on the street were charming, too. We could walk to Dejima & Chinatown as well. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful with the directions and suggestions for sightseeing.

There is no vending machine for drinks in the building. Though the hotel provided us 2 bottles of water (complimentary).

The location is iba nice quiet neighborhood so it’s quiet at night and morning no buses or trains visible. Having said that it’s 100 meters from the tram which takes your to peace park and other major sites. It is walking distance to the Glover Garden, the Seaside Park and the Nagasaki Prefecture museum as well as the Shilon China Town.

The Wi-Fi is very finicky if you are using Mac or IPhones it’s almost impossible to connect because of weak security. But we had a pocket Wi-Fi so this wasn’t an issue for us.

Just about everything. The style of the hotel is very old Mediterranean so probably won't be everyone's cup of tea for that. But, I found the facilities were very good, WiFi was spot on, they even installed a brand new TV while I was there so despite the styling, this is a bang up to date hotel. Staff were all more than helpful and very polite. Couldn't knock this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Pretty building and nice touches in the room. Easy walk from historic neighborhood. Very clean.

This is the only thing that was negative: We could hear everything on the floor above us: dropped beads, dropped pen, rolling sound. The floors have Spanish style tiles which are pretty but carry sound.

Nice hotel with chapel feel. The vintage lift was actually working. The hotel staff was friendly and took initiative to show us the old polyphonic when he saw us curious about it. Clean and good room size with nice street view. The staff allows us early check in as the room is ready.

The lack of food place around the hotel. All was closed on the day. The Italian restaurant in the hotel only takes in reservation. It was raining so we had hard time trying to go and find a place open for dinner.

Great location, easy to walk to from the China Town bus stop (direct from the airport) - access to lots of little shops, restaurants, etc. - and then easy access to the Tram or Bus routes for all major area sights. Great spot overall, not to mention the style and decor (Portuguese?) and the option to dine in their restaurant on site. Good all around!
