Very comfortable room with great amenities. You could show up with nothing and be fine. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair brush, toothbrush and little samples of face cream and hair tie. Loved having the washer dryer. Came with two detergent pods. Dryer took a while but also was able to use supplied drying rack on balcony and clothes were dry in the morning. Comfortable beds. Even enjoyed the supplied pajamas. Grateful for the fridge and extra sink. Excellent location close to JR Rail Nara station and grocery store, coffee and Nara shopping. Very Clean and quiet. AC worked perfectly. Zero complaints and would definitely stay here again. This was my first time traveling out of the US and the labels on everything in English was greatly appreciated.

There was not anything I didn't like.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Rokune in Nara, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from Nara Park and many of the city's other top attractions. The hotel is unmanned but checking in and out was very simple. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with all the amenities you need.

The only negative that was that there wasn't an electrical port by the bed, so we needed to use an extension cable (provided) to charge our devices at night. Only a slight inconvenience really.

A very well equipped room / appt setup. Extremely close to Jr nara station, allowed for easy access to trains and busses, and also a large supermarket. The washing machine was excellent, and allowed us to get all our clothes washed and dried whilst there. The walk though to the main park / temples in nara was lovely, and by staying here we got to visit some of the parts of the town before it got busy. Self check in / check out was a breeze

The lights outside were very bright coming into the bedroom window, luckily I had packed a face mask, but it was quite stark.

Tremendous location - just opposite the JR station, and very close as well to car rental company. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although no staff at the place, the check-in was very smooth, and digital contact with the owners was rapid and efficient. The price is excellent as well.

Loved this apartment! No staff, but check in/out was super easy and we got all information in time. Very specious room and everything you need - fridge, kettle, some dishes, wifi, nice bathroom and even a washing machine. We reached everything by foot we wanted to see in Nara. There are lots of good restaurants nearby and supermarkets

Spacious studio size (comparing to standard Japanese hotel room size), very clean, modern and complete with necessary amenities. Quite neighbourhood. 2 mins walking from Nara Station. Few convenient stores close by. Unmanned facility but their staff are very responsive, easy guides from email. Overall this is one of the best stay in Japan.

Large room, free laundry available and bathroom has a feature that can be utilitised to airdry your clothing. Netflix available on the TV provided. So nice, I genuinely wish I lived here. About a 20 minute walk from the hotel to Nara Park.

Elevator is very small and can only handle a small amount of weight. Also this hotel is self-service, which may not be suitable for some people. Neither of these things negatively impacted our stay but are worth noting.

Very clean. The building was probably converted from condos to hotel rooms and was therefore very comfortable. Nice bathroom/shower area. High-quality microwave, air cleaner, and TV. Comfortable beds. Good security features.

I was very satisfied, but two *minor* points. 1) More lighting would have been better because the living space got pretty dark at night. 2) The shade on the (very nice) large window did not block out the sunlight very well. A thicker shade would allow people to sleep later in the morning if they want. Excellent experience overall, though. Would recommend.

Huge place for Japan could spend a week there if nara had more to do. 10/10 accommodation very clean very nice close to jr station and supermarket. Washing machine is a big bonus

No cooking allowed there. Would of been great to be able to get supermarket meat and cook up a feast

Really spacious room. All descriptions where in English. Beds where extremely comfortable. Location close to Nara JR station. Tv had many English options like Netflix. Bathroom was heated and living room had good air-conditioning. It had a free washing and drying machine.
