The place was very warm and welcoming! The cafe staff were helpful and friendly when I checked in and showed me around the guesthouse. I shared a room with other strangers but everyone was really friendly. The check-in and check-out time was very flexible as well; I arrived around 12 in the afternoon but the bed was already ready for me to check in. You can even ask for help with luggage storage after checking out or before checking in. The personal space in the dormitory-style room I paid for was enough for me as a solo traveller. The bed and the bathroom were pretty clean. They provide a lot of amenities you would need such as ear plugs, hair dryers, laundry detergent, etc. They also have facilities such as a kitchen, laundry machines and security boxes for each guest. The guesthouse is in a good location as well because the nearest station only takes a few minutes of walking. It's pretty great value for its price especially during peak season.

I'm a deep sleeper so I didn't have much trouble sleeping. But it might be difficult for light sleepers because you could hear noises even outside of the room such as guests going to the toilet, late check-ins, etc. The bed space was a little too dark, even with a small lamp. My bed was right beside the window but I still had to turn on the lamp during the day because it was still kind of dark for me.

Staff super super super nice! Japanese are all friendly but the girl that received me (cant remember her name) was plus! She went to the room with me, explained about Osaka, they let me in much earlier as I arrived earlier. Bed super comfortable, big kitchen, there is a coffee place nice downstairs, nice sink, good hairdrier, there is a wash machine - thats perfect and cheap, super convenient.

Air conditioning at the room was liking water, bit noise during he nigh the water going to the bucket lol. Dry machine does not work well, but you can hang out your t-shirt outside (I forgot one there oh nooo),and someone stolen my sake bottle closed at the fridge - not their fault, but that was sad lol hehe.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and really nice. They helped me out a lot with booking an event. The guest house itself is also really cute. And its a beautiful place. I slept on tatami and a futon in the female dorm. Super cozy and I did get a good sleep. They serve delicious coffee and next time I must try the Curry!! I would definitely recommend this guests house to everyone. From the airport its really convenient ( because the trains stops at Fukushima-Shi and then its just a 6 min walk super easy. Umeda station is really close by just a 5 min trainride. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Osaka again.

Everything was good!!!!

I loved that place - the authenticity, the details, the atmosphere, the staff. I got a small one person bedroom and it was perfect for what I needed, also loved their common area where you can find some books, guides (such as Lonely Planet), relax or make yourself a tea/coffee. Clean, nice, cute! One of my fav places to stay in Japan!

Building is a bit old so not really noise proof (e.g you can hear the guests moving and chatting) but everyone is being very respectful so it was not an issue for me. Also, the hotel provides ear plugs for guests which is super nice!

The location is very strategic, a short walking distance to everything that we could have thought of. The staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. They even threw a new year party for the guests and cooked a mean barbeque. The place was perfectly clean and kept up with a cozy atmosphere. The lounge room was very inviting for cooking and socializing with other travelers, but it also provides some space for the others. They even provide a cafe on the first floor The best part is that we can experience an authentic Japanese style room and house with the best price. We stayed at a tatami room of 4 with futon beds and bunk beds.

Facility wise, the could do with adding more laundry machines to lessen the queue. Although admittedly, there were not a lot of people anyway with only several rooms available.

This place is so cozy! Great location! After 11 pm they close the common room, ask for you to use the coffee shop downstairs! That was also very cool! I stayed in the female only room. They also have female only toilet! The showers are used by all. But they were very clean. The guest house has tissues and sanitizers everywhere. I loved that. Love the swing in the common room! Free coffee and green tea~

None.

Literally next to Fukushima station, very convenient when arriving from Kansai airport. It's very easy to move around using the subway, and it's within walking distance from umeda region, which is one of the main highlights of the city. They rent bycicles for all day for only 500 yen, and it has been the highlight of my trip, exploring the city with it not only saves you time and money, but you get to really know the city. The beds are very comfy, and they have a locker inside that makes it very convenient.

It's an old building, since it's made of wood you can hear every single noise. Some people are too noisy at night, and it's impossible to sleep while the guy next to you snores like crazy.

The Guest House was really good, it had a really calming and homely feeling and I got to meet many other travellers there. The beds are comfortable and in the shared rooms you get your own booth, so there is still some privacy if you need it. The common area is also nice, they provide tea, coffee etc. and there are tons of books and flyers you can read through. The guesthouse in general is really clean and comfortable and bathrooms were well organized, too. At night they allow you to sit in the café downstairs after closing time, because the common room will be closed. The staff really made sure that it stays quiet and people get the rest they want, but then for people who want to have a chat or stay up late they provide the café.

Fair prize and considerate facility. Decorations are fun, beds are not small therefore are fitting for all foreigners . Stylish and with cosy atmosphere. One thing I love most is they have a shelf, almost a closet, for storaging. This could be said as a luxury in comparison to other guest house. Having a famous(TabelogTOP100) spicce curry restaurant just below, which offers only one and impressive plate of mixed curry dishes.

I would really hope to be offered slippers though..

The hostel is only 5 minutes from Fukushima station. it has a cafe on the ground floor and the hostel is on the 1st floor. What I really like in japanese hostels is that you need to take off your shoes at the entrance, so the floor is clean. The room is not big but has an air conditioner. The bed is very big in a pod style, has sockets (japanese), two big shelves, a locker, curtains and light. Towels are available for 100 yen. The kitchen and lounge room is big with different spots to sit. Tea and coffee are free. The showers and toilets are clean, washbasins are in the corridor. There are also hair dryers, curlers and some other things available for free. Also you can borrow umbrella. An extra word for the staff. They are super friendly, helpful and responsive. I have an extra “thank you” for helping me with some issues I had.

Can’t say anything bad.
