5 minutes walk from SinImaMiya train station (will go through 2 FamilyMart). One Mega supermarket (Donkihote) nearby. Has its own shower room & toilet. Shower room tall roughly at 200 cm (6 feet 2) with ventilation system a good help for drying cloths & towels . One 15-inch HD TV set HDMI port supported (at FHD mode looks weird). Card-key lock door system keeping your bags & properties safe. Hotel provided Wifi speed around 1.5mb/s ~ 4mb/s. Overall a pleasant stay for 2 nights (unlucky my flight got cancelled by typhoon 7).

9 out of 10 because (might be my own issue anyway but) the air conditioner at room 503 smells a bit musty & with the smell of mixed cosmetic products so instead I simply just open the window for the stay. Recommended for backpackers.

The room was honestly bigger than I thought it was going to be. It had everything that you could possibly need for a solo traveler. I was at the end of my trip and was stoked to see scales in the room so I could weigh my bags.

It was right next to a pachinko parlor. This isn't something that the hotel can change nor should reflect upon them but definitely something to keep in mind when booking this place. People have already mentioned the train station, and if you fall asleep easily this won't be a problem for you. But as a young solo female traveler, walking past the pachinko parlor with some drunk older guys out the front made me feel uncomfortable. The only time someone made any comment towards me in my whole trip was walking past there. I didn't feel unsafe as there were still plenty of people around but just thought I should include it for future solo female travelers.

The staff were really sweet despite the language barrier. Location was convenient as it was just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Not to mention 3 different train lines, and a mega Don Quijote store. There was a small self service pantry and dining area in the lobby too. Self service laundry room was also available at the back from the lobby.

Unfortunately encountered a problem with the couch at the back of the lobby when I decided to rest there while waiting to leave for the bus to the airport. I would recommend staying clear of it. Hopefully they have removed it.

This hotel is an exceptional value. For about $25 a night, you can't go wrong. It's kept in excellent condition. The room was very clean and well maintained. The shower was easy to use even though I'm 6 foot 3. The blackout curtains blocked out almost all light from the outside, making it easier to sleep. The double paned windows helped dampen the sound from the outside as well. The on-site coin operated laundry machines were very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the morning was also a nice bonus. As for the location, you've got plenty of convenience stores nearby, SpaWorld if you want to relax in a bath, and you're within easy walking distance of Shinsekai and the Tsutenkaku tower. There's also an Osaka Metro and a JR station right on the corner for easy access to the rest of the city (~20 or 30 minutes to most of the big attractions like USJ and Osaka Castle).

My main complaint would be the neighborhood - it's a little run down and filled with people smoking outside the convenience stores. Nothing too bad though. The noise, although dampened, might also be a bit much for sensitive people. While I didn't mind too much, I could hear ambulances and trains going by all the time. The bed and pillow were also rather stiff, but fine for sleeping on. WiFi also wasn't the fastest and didn't get the best signal, but it was adequate for the basics.

Great location for travelling in and outside Osaka. Lots of small restaurants around too that aren't overrun by tourists.

I really like this place; second time staying here in fact. So this part is just to put it in perspective: There is a train station right next to it (hence the convenient travel) and the rooms are small which is quite typical for Japanese hotels, even more for ones in this price range. Neither are a negative for me (didn't hear the trains even) but if you expect a huge US/European size hotel room and a gorgeous view over the city skyline, this is definitely not it. Do check the pictures of the hotel, they are absolutely true to reality and not trying to make it look like something it isn't.

I booked 2 single rooms for my aunt and myself for 9 nights. The hotel itself is new, modern and offers quite a lot facilities for free. The rooms are actually larger than they looked on pictures. The mattress and pillow are so comfortable. I slept like a log. I had 1 big suitcase and 1 cabin size suitcase, and had no problem putting them under the bed or opening them in the room. Staff is super helpful and welcoming. Check-in and check-out is fast and efficient. Shared kitchen has enough utensils to cook meals. Coffee and tea is provided in the morning. Bike rental is free for guests. Location is on point, about 2-3 minutes walk from Dobutsuen-mae metro station and JR Shin-Imamiya station East exit, or 5-7 minutes walk from Nankai Shin-Imamiya station South Exit/ JR Shin-Imamiya station West exit. There's a small supermarket near the station (on the opposite direction with the hotel) where you can buy pre-made meals at reasonable price.

Absolutely nothing.

Managed to book this hotel for 14 nights at extremely cheap rate, for an en-suite (shower and toilet), so cannot complain. Location is great, 3 mins from JR Shin-Imamiya which has direct trains to KIX, and also Osaka Loop line. Outside the hotel is also entrance to Metro which has the important Midosuji Line to Shin-Osaka (for Shinkansen) and the main downtown metro stops. Behind hotel is Donki and Daiso, and hotel is surrounded by at least 5 to 6 family mart. JR Shin-Imamiya/Shin-Imamiya Nankai Line station (next to each other) has 7-11 and also Horai 551! Facilities are clean, though very basic. You have to use shower gel/shampoo sachets which you can help yourself at the lobby. Free coffee every morning from 5am to 11am which is fantastic. Free chinese/green tea throughout the day using the tea bags and kettle in the lobby (help yourself). A common-use/shared kitchen is available in the lobby is you wish to cook, with provided disposable chopsticks, plastic spoons and knives, napkins. Laundry facilities also available which I have used twice - cheap and my clothes were dried easily.

Bed is hard which I like but pillow is a bit too thin for me. Housekeeping is not available every day but only on set days and you have to tell the front desk you want your room to be cleaned. Have exchange towels every day at front desk if you want fresh towels Have to use the shower gel / shampoo sachets though for longer stays you can ask for a bottle of shampoo (not shower gel) From 1am to 4.30am - quiet but outside of these hours, you will hear sound of trains running on train tracks behind your room regardless of which floor your room is. But didn't bother me as I was tired and also got use to it. I used it as alarm i.e. when I hear trains - I know time is at least past 4.30am !!

Fantastic location close to a couple of train stations (including one with a direct train from the airport). Close to the Tsutenkaku Tower and the zoo, with plenty of food options around. At the same time, it’s not smack in the middle of a tourist area so still relatively quiet. Staff are polite and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen, laundry room and workspaces (plenty of tables with electric outlets) in the lobby make it great for longer stays. Would definitely come back in future if there’s the chance to.

It’s right by the train tracks so you’ll be able to hear trains all night - bring earplugs.

The room has everything you need - USB charger & light switch directly next to the bed, big sink, desk, tv, chair and a fridge. The toilet and shower were clean and spacious, also I liked that the room would only be cleaned upon request (you could switch out your towels at the front desk every day though). My room was quiet as well. Washing machines & dryers (300yen for wash &dry) were also available, as well as a tiny kitchen to cook konbini food and a small eating area. The staff were very helpful, I was lucky to get an early check-in, they answer all my questions and were generally kind to me and fluent in English. :)

The wallpaper hat a few stains. Also sometimes when I returned here I was a little bit worried about drunk men hanging out in the street, on some occasions they even approached me or walked next to me. However even as a female solo traveler I never felt truly unsafe and honestly my hometown in Europe is worse in this regard. But just a heads-up if you‘re easily startled by that kind of situation.
