Everything from the location, lobby, rooms, amenities and of course the staffs. We were travelling as a family, my sister and my nieces had tagged along to my family of 5. We want to express our gratitude to one exceptional staff Seira Nitta who had wowed us during our stay. My sister has apparently dropped her pouch containing all her valuables and she discovered it missing while we were visiting Kyoto. We quickly rang the hotel to help search for the item in her room which they willingly obliged without any fuss. Quick thinking Seira had observed that my sister had visited the family mart located besides the hotel and she sprang to the mart to check and immediately gave us the image of the pouch !!! She had saved everyone's day as otherwise the trip would not be the same!!. Every single one of us were very pleased with MIMARU WEST OSAKA. Thank you for the great hospitality and fantastic stays. We will definitely come back !

The staffs , reception all very helpful and friendly. They all speak English. They have coffee capsules we can get anytime, coffee sachets, tea sachets and sleepwear. They also have game boards to play . Laundry area with dryer . There are a lot of good restaurants in the area. Search for the Indian restaurant Delhi. Sometimes we just cook at the apartment and chill. Grocery is 2mins away and family mart is just beside the hotel. Location is very good too 2minutes away to station. 10mins walk to dotonbiri. Everyone's so nice and helpful. We felt safe. Last year we stayed in Mimaru tokyo and also loved the experience. Thank you everyone for a relaxing stay!

Staff were super helpful. Rooms were clean (and frequently too) and had all the necessary items needed for a week long holiday. Very family-friendly (we travelled with a toddler) and in a convenient location - close to the Metro, convenience stores, supermarket, and plenty of cafes.

There's only one lift which sometimes got busy (e.g. check in and check out times). Needed to remind ourselves to bring our mugs for coffee downstairs. Also it's close to a fire station - was only noisy 1 of the 9 nights we stayed.

Recommend staying here for travelling families. Great location close to multiple train lines and interest areas (food, shopping, Dotonburi walkable) The staff here are amazing, when contacting online asking for some recommendations in light of a birthday we would be celebrating we were surprised on arrival by a happy birthday ballon and message with towels folded like a cake. So cute! My daughter was really excited. We stayed in the Japanese style family apartment and it was definitely cosy. Need to be mobile for this one as beds and futons are all floor level.

A small, quiet hotel in a very convenient area. We were within walking distance of the famous covered shopping district but far enough from the main hustle that the nights and area were quiet. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and welcoming. There was even a hand drawn map of the nearby area with staff-recommended restaurants and shops to check out. We left a couple of our own recommendations 😁 hope they’ll be added to the list!

The room lacked storage space. There were only three of us this trip but we were having trouble finding places to put away our things.

Well stocked kitchen, this is very practical.

Cleaning was a bit of a miss. We usually stayed in our rooms in the morning and went out for the whole afternoon -- however cleaning staff only came in the morning, this meant we had no room cleaning done during the whole stay. Hotel is in a central area but it's not the nicest neighborhood. Staff interactions can be silly and performative, e.g. at checkin they greet you with a long list of all the perks they cut due to being "green", at checkout they offer you a "departure gift" which is just a QR code to review them on tripadvisor. Maybe it'd be better to omit these :)

1) That ALL staff (from those manning the reception to the cleaners) were extremely friendly, courteous & accommodative. We had sought their assistance a few times and on all occasions, they really went out of their way to help us. For instance, booking a taxi for our trip to a train station at wee hours in the morning & helping us decide which transport arrangement best suits us for our trip home. 2) The location of the hotel - walking distance to 3 Metro stations. 3) The facilities nearby - Family Mart is just next door & there is a 24-hour AEON Food Style nearby. 4) The fact that it offers an apartment like facilities. Not many hotels could comfortably accommodate 5 adults, let alone provide a kitchenette, a separate bathroom & toilet.

1) We noticed upon our arrival that the dining table still had some slight coffee stains on it & we needed to wiped it twice for the table to be really clean. 2) The liquid bath soap (which smelt really great btw) was not re-filled. Again, not an issue since we had just enough for the whole stay. The 2 points above didn't affect our stay at all, just sharing as points for improvement : )

Location was convenient to Metro and several neighborhoods. Easy 30minute walk down to Namba. Both before and during our stay, staff were excellent. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. We appreciated the grocery store around the corner and the availability of a toaster from the front desk. The public laundry facilities were convenient and easy to use.

The room used the available space very well, but still felt small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers by US standards.

Love the space for a big family of ours, ample space for luggages and the common area for meals together. The availability of the 2 bath areas and 2 toilets are also very helpful, especially for our young kids. Minutes away from Family Mart, Aeon supermarket available 24 hours and many eateries to choose from. Like the fact that it's a quieter side of Shinsaibashi but still within walking distance to the shopping belt. It's also near to the underground walkway that leads us to the main shopping belt, was able to keep dry and warm from the rain and wind during our stay. Special thanks to Gaga and Haley who made our time there an enjoyable one. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, attending to our questions and it was a delight to interact with them and their team. Definitely recommending this place to our family and friends visiting Osaka!

This is a very comfortable place to stay for families. We had 6 people -2 kids, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents. We had two rooms that could have doors opened between them which was ideal. The kitchen facilities were wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the bunk beds were perfect for kids. The staff was amazing. They gave excellent food recommendations near by and had answers for things like where to by stamps and the nearest post office and grocery store. The location is fantastic. There were excellent restaurants, grocery stores, post office, park with playground, and subway entrance within 5-8 min walk. It was also quiet in the rooms despite being 1 block from a major cross street.

The laundry was a coin laundry that was centrally located downstairs so one needed keep checking on the laundry progress. It cost 600-700 yen to wash and completely dry.
