It says it is a 3-star hotel but definitely offered at least 4+ quality with how staff are, facilities, breakfast and location. Breakfast was fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful, location the best - very near Midosuji street that is the main street running through the city, that leads to main attractions. Crysta underground shopping area, Senba shopping mall just 5-10 mins walk away. Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, Dotombori (restaurants, street food and shops), Amerikamura (hip area with second hand shops) are about 15-20 mins walk away. Close (5-10 mins) to Honmachi metro station. Very central and lovely hotel. We stayed in another hotel in Osaka previously and werent happy so we took a chance on Prezio, it was a much better stay. Great food options at breakfast, free amenities at the lobby, washing machines and kitchenette with microwave on 5th floor. It was a very clean hotel and our room was also very clean. Very calm room, wonderful bed (it was such a good and comfortable bed after walking 20-25K per day) and AC worked the best out of all hotels we stayed so far in Japan. Room cleaning staff were the best. Definitely worth every penny, recommending this lovely hotel.

We travelled from Australia and this was a great stay for my partner and I, (I am 6ft3 keep in mind) we had 2 large suitcases and we had more than enough room for both of us. It’s not a large room, and it’s not a small room, it was the perfect size, and felt very cosy. We stayed for 6 nights and we had booked other accomodation for the period, but we were unhappy with it as we arrived, and decided to leave, we booked this accomodation online on the day and checked in 20 minutes later and the value for money was very fair. The staff were exceptional and always around to help when we needed it. We felt very safe as we had keycards that were needed to unlock the entrance, the elevator and the door to our room. The hotel was very close to the Shinsaibashi Mall strip, and was about a 5-10 minute walk at most, and we were also about a 5 minute walk from the nearest train stations. The Check in/out was extremely fast and easy and every day the staff provided us with clean pyjamas, towels and complimentary water bottles. There is also washing machine facilities, vending machines, and ice dispensers on level 5 and level 9 which were easily accessible and easy to use. (the washing machines had a QR code that you could see on your phone the availability of the washing machines/ how long was left of the cycle) If we were to travel back to Osaka in the future, we will 100% be staying here again!

Clean room and nice breakfast. Staff was helpful in arranging for early check in by paying an extra fee. Free hot and cold drinks available in lobby and amenities too. Excellent washing machine.

The location. It is in between Honmachi and Shinsabashi Station. Either side you have to walk, especially to the shopping streets in Shinsabashi, a good 15 minutes walk. Nearest metro entrance is eight minutes away and the walk is on the streets, uncovered. Nearby areas are quiet at night especially during weekends. Not too many restaurants nearby and many are closed on Saturday and Sunday, and no major shopping malls either.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka Shinsaibashi, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome right away. The location of the hotel is simply perfect. It’s within walking distance to Shinsaibashi, a bustling area filled with endless shopping and dining options. Whether you’re in the mood for some retail therapy or want to explore the local cuisine, everything you need is just a short stroll away. One of the highlights of my stay was the comfort of the bed and pillows. I had some of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had while traveling, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was well-appointed with all the amenities you could ask for, adding to the overall comfort and convenience. Overall, my experience at the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka Shinsaibashi was outstanding. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay in Osaka, offering a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

-the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were really great! -the room was bigger than other hotels and it was very comfortable and clean -breakfast was incredible. Would highly recommend. You can get some traditional Japanese breakfast foods with typical Osaka food and also western food options. A great value -I like that they were eco friendly where you’d take packets of the amenities of what you need from the lobby daily. And if you opt to not clean your room, they give you a bag of new towels etc. -laundry machines were good. No need to bring your own detergent

I loved staying here! Not exactly a con but it is a small walk to the closet train station but I honestly thought it wasn’t too bad and there were a bunch of stores, restaurants, there’s a cat cafe and a family mart nearby. It’s an easy commute to Osaka station and to dontonburi (you could even walk there actually, it takes about 30min)

I could check in an hour earlier which was a really nice gesture. The room was well epuipped and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good, although I stayed for 4 nights and only 2 things changed during this time. It was very good nonetheless. The staff was very professional and kind the whole time, that was a huge bonus.

The only downside was the wifi, it was terrible. At first it worked, then it didn't. I tried with my notebook and phone as well, sometimes after a while I used my mobile data..

Clean, well located, relatively small room but still ok. Good breakfast, complimentary bottles of water every day, free coffee in the lobby. Very good services and nice staff ready to help when needed. The possibility to open the window it’s a big plus for me. Like also the laundry room.

I tried to work from the room but it wasn’t so easy, the desk is too small so I had to work from bed. The Wi-Fi functions intermittently so a lot of delays and reconnecting time lost. Our room was on the shadowy side of the hotel, almost no natural light being visible thru the window as the near building was so close that basically we could shake hands with neighbours with a little bit of effort. At least we could open it to have some fresh air and this is great.

Good decently central location, in between the high-end area and the main food/shopping area. Quiet at night, friendly staff, decently sized room compared to what we have typically experienced in Japan. Rooms did the job and were clean and comfortable. Had all the additional extras you'd expect from a Japanese hotel (coffee, toothbrush, PJs, bottled water, etc). very little to complain about and much to be appreciated! we did not do the breakfast, but it seemed decent from what we saw. Amongst the best value for money from our trip.

Getting to the hotel from the train station requires walking on a road with cars (no sidewalk). It seems this is common in Japan, but it wasn't comfortable when going there with luggage and having to stick very close to the wall to allow cars through. So if you have lots of luggage you should take a taxi.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Hommachi station, and close to many delicious restaurants.In particular, the ramen and tsukemen restaurants are always seen with long queues. The room size is great. I even had space to layout my yoga mat. All amenities are laid out well. The breakfast had an amazing spread, and everything was delicious. I stayed for 5 nights, and they changed the items daily. The staff was extremely helpful, and patiently answered all my questions. I would stay here again, and also look at other Prezio properties when I visit other cities.

I liked everything in this hotel and I’d recommend it to everyone! Room was comfy and very clean; I was surprised with the sound isolation in the room, during my stay I never heard any noise from other rooms neither from outside the building. Location was good, it was close to the subway station. The highlight was the level of service and the staff, everyone was very friendly and thoughtful, they helped us fill the form to send our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto. Also everyday they would leave clean towels and 2 water bottles at our room door (because we put the “do not disturb” sign at the door). Super recommend this hotel!
