It was raining when I arrived at the station from KIX and I was so pleased to note that I could access the hotel directly from the station without exiting and getting caught in the rain. The hotel seemed new and well kept. Rooms were small, but we were there for one night in transit so that was fine. The massage chair in our room was a nice touch and the bathroom had a shower and tub.

We could not open the windows and the airconditioning took a while to navigate and turn up so it was stuffy for a while before it finally cooled down.

Hotel was located next to Shin-Osaka Station but it was hard to find coming out of the train station exits. It was located on the northwest corner, so if you exited out from the north exit, the hotel was right around the corner. The front desk and lobby was located on the 12th Floor. Our room was located on the 16th Floor with a nice city view. The room layout was unusual in that the bathroom was located along the exterior wall with views out and full height glass enclosures facing the bed. There were shades for privacy, if needed. The wired glass exterior windows made viewing outside a little hard to see through. They have a plastic stool to use in the shower if you usually bathe with a bucket to wash. The see-thru bathroom allowed natural light to reach the bed area. We thought it was an interesting design. We had free breakfast coupons to use downstairs at a Vietnamese restaurant in front of the hotel entrance that you could use for three different types of set menus - Japanese, curry rice, and banh mi. They were very good.

They had a massage mechanism on the chair that was uncomfortable to use, so we took it off. The counter space was narrow and too high to use as a desk, so we used their portable round table where the stand tucked partially under the bed. It was very narrow between the counter and the bed so it made for an awkward setup to work. The room was just too compact. A few more inches here and there would have made a huge difference. There was little to no room around the raised lavatory sink to put toiletry items.

Was initially worried about the room size after reading some of the reviews, but two above- average sized westerners and two big suitcases fitted comfortably in the room, although we took it in turns to open our suitcases when needed. The room was stylish and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size for Japan and the shower was great. The massage chair was a nice addition too! Check-in was seamless and amenities were available in the reception area. The best bit, though, was the location- it was just perfect for what we wanted. We chose this hotel because we intended to go on lots of day trips using our JR passes and it was just perfect, really well connected to places in Osaka as well as Kyoto and Hiroshima. It was amazing coming back to Shin- Osaka station after a long day of travel and being able to get back to our room within 5 mins! There are lots of Japanese food options around on the lower levels of the station and also things like coffee shops, a McDonald's, convenience stores, and an Uncle Rikuro's jiggly cheesecake stall which was a delightful surprise! The hotel was also easier to find than we thought it'd be- look out for the signs for the Shinkansen and head towards that. Near the Shinkansen ticket offices and machines look out for McDonalds, a vietnamese restaurant and Tully's. The hotel is to the right of those places.

The immediate area around the station didn't have much so it might not be ideal for people who don't intend to travel a lot.

The location was great, very very close to the shinkansen, the JR line and the Metro line. If you want to go to Kyoto, Himeji, Hiroshima and so on by shinkansen, this location is very convenient. There were also a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff was friendly, the check-in procedure is done via self checking kiosks. Same with the checkout.

The lightning could be improved inside of the rooms, it was a bit dark. Also, the carpet was a bit stained. The rooms are small, but that's fine as it's more of a business hotel where you just go to sleep at night.

Location was very convenient as it is directly connected to the station. Hotel entrance is 2 min to the bullet train gate. Once you get to the ground floor, there are many restaurants and fast-food shops available. Room was very clean and spacious. Massage chair was awesome.

nothing really I can mention.

A hotel connected right to the Shin-Osaka station, for the visiting tourist that wishes to explore Osaka and nearby cities, it is perfect. We arrived at Shin-Osaka by shinkansen and were able to find the signs pointing us to remm soon enough. After taking the elevator to the 12th floor where the reception is located, we were warmly greeted and assisted by staff for the quick and smooth check-in process by machine. The room was quite tight, but still sufficiently big for one large and one medium-sized luggage. The room has an interesting space-efficient layout, with a bathroom sporting big windows with a spectacular view towards the city centre that also double as a source of daylight for the room itself. The room itself was very clean and the hotel has taken several nice environmental measures, such as giving the guest the option to opt for no-cleaning or eco-cleaning on any given day. If visiting Osaka and making lots of use of public transport, this hotel is a huge recommendation if you simply need a neat place to shower, unwind and sleep after a busy day out and about. The availability of a small fridge allowed us to keep some drinks and snacks from the konbini cooled for the next day, which was very useful to us.

While there were two bars to hang towels and clothes on in the bathroom, extra hooks would have been ideal to make it a little bit easier to organize things and hang additional items when needed. But overall not a huge problem.

Great location for using Shinkansen trains and visiting Osaka. At Shin-Osaka station Shinkansen exit, turn right walk for 10 seconds and you’ll see Tully’s coffee and Macdonald’s. It’s directly opposite. The location is right above the station. Lovely city view of Osaka from the windows. Roomy bathroom and toilet with luxurious toiletries. Small table for eating and fridge for putting in perishable food. Could keep 1 suitcase open and still have room to walk around. Free tea and coffee at lobby, kettle in room for making a hot drink. They kindly looked after my bags when I left Osaka for a night (had another reservation there on return though). Staff very polite and spoke English. Good value hotel for a major city.

Room was small but adequate for a few nights. Bed was also small, so not that comfortable for 2 people. Room is very dimly lit. Couldn’t access YouTube on the TV ( only hotel in Japan that I couldn’t do this).

The location is so nice. It's located in Shin-Osaka station, so it's very easy for connecting train or Shinkansen. Anyway, I really like the electric massage chair. ^^

The room is quite small but it's not a problem when compared to the conveniences.

Its actually our second stay. It’s located right in the building above Shin Osaka Shinkansen station. The room is super small but has a chair with massaging machine, kettle, PJ, TV, and well equipped toilet and bathroom. It’s the best choice considering the location and the good design of the hotel. The price was remarkably cheap too. Oh and they have a collection of one-time toiletries for guests to take in case one forget to bring their own at the reception.

The room at night was very dark, not enough illumination. I would not choose the breakfast plan again as it’s provided at a Vietnamese restaurant at the mall which was not too appealing.

The location in Shin-Osaka Station was very convenient. The view over the train tracks and buildings was refreshing. In the room you could hear the dull murmur of the announcements on the Shinkansen platforms. I found that to be very relaxing. However, some people may find the sounds to be a bit overstimulating at night. (However the announcements stop when the trains stop running around midnight.)

The room is very small. The lighting was much too dark. Cleanliness did not meet my expectations. Bed linens were a bit grotty.
