- Unbeatable price/location - The location is incredibly convenient, literally 3 mins walk away from Akihabara Station/Yamanote Line - The bed was equipped with a control panel with 4 USB charging ports, and switches to control the a/c and the lights of the room - Lots of restaurants, bars, pubs within a few steps - 7-Eleven right around the corner - The staff were exceptionally polite, spoke perfect English, and always ready to help
- The a/c was making some weird annoying noises and was orientated directly towards the bed - The room size, while fine for a solo traveler, might be a bit cramped for two people and reminded me of my university dorm days. - Only one lift, might be inconvenient during rush hours

Excellent price commodity rate
The thing is that we paid breakfast included that was about 200 usd extra and when we arrived they told us the breakfast was not served in the hotel, we had to go to a cafe that was like a 10 min walk from the hotel. The cafe had a special menu for the hotel residents with only 2 options. So essentially if you didn’t like one you’d end up with the same breakfast all days. I think you can get much better breakfast for the price walking around in Tokyo (even in near coffee stores).

Even though the rooms compared to american hotels are drastically smaller, it was well put together and thought out to save as much space as possible! My wife and I's honeymoon was amazing. We stayed there for a week and can't complain about how everything was! We were a less than a 5, minute walk than Akihabara station, which made travel quick and easy. Plenty of conbini and cheap food nearby too if you just need a late night snack or even breakfast for the next day!
This is just because I am american, but the room was super small. My wife and I were basically walking over each other to move around. It was inconvenient but there were bigger rooms available! So next time we're in Japan we will try the upgraded size and see how that goes.

It was in a very good location to the metro with close proximity to convenience stores and restaurants. My son loves manga and anime so we stayed here as it was very close to electric city and everything he wanted! Great location to also whizz around Tokyo on the metro. A good side of town for easily getting to and from Narita airport too! Rooms are very small but expected for Tokyo.
Don’t expect breakfast at the property. ‘Breakfast included’ means a voucher for a ‘cafe’ 8min walk away where you have options of a coffee or tea and ham and salad roll or hotdog in a bun.

Its a nice hotel and located very close to Akihabara station. The staff is so nice and speaks English really well which is not usual for Japan. They also have an HDMI port in the bed frame for connecting to the tv, which i thought was cool. (At least in my room) There are also a lot of restaurants nearby.
The hotel is good, There are only small inconveniences. There is no washing machine in the hotel and the nearby laundromat is a little inconvenient. The is a small store but no real breakfast options. Usually APA hotels have a vending machine with beer and alcohol but you could not buy beer at all.

I'm a regular customer at various APA properties here in Japan since 2015. This is the first time I had stayed in that area of Akihabara. There are convenience stores for international ATM and some restaurants open until 5 am. I'm a Akihabara regular btw. I'm in Tokyo every 2-4 months. The hotel staff made my requests possible. The hotel was within 3-5 minute walk to the train station depending on what line your are taking. This was a comfortable stay for me!
There isn't anything I did not like to be honest. I was very comfortable. The only thing I can actually say is your doing good work! Stay the way you are.

It was a very nice, big, soft bed with a large TV, making for excellent sleep. Check-in was quick, and we didn't need to go through those stupid screens like other properties. Its distance from Akiba means there aren't any crowds outside, which makes it feel like a safe location. It's also relatively close to the Wash n Fold in Chiyoda.
I wouldn't say I liked their annoying snack purchase system. I don't know why you don't just use a barcode and self-checkout instead of making your proprietary system. I have to learn. I didn't like that I needed to hook up their WiFi in order to use the apps on the TV. I don't trust accommodation WiFi, and I couldn't even connect through my VPN, so despite the large TV, I couldn't use it.

Clean place, has everything you might need. Staff speaks English. It was one of the cheaper options, but you get a good deal for the price. Good location - station is nearby. Room was clean, good shower pressure. Lots of free amenities, that was a nice touch. Breakfast was not on site - we should have read about that before booking, but the café is a few mins away. They offer several western style breakfast options (no traditional ones), which consist of a sandwich or hot dog, a cup of hot soup and a beverage. It was okay.
Room was quite small (11 sqm with bathroom), might be ok for one person, but with two people + suitcases it was a bit hard to turn around. Air cooling in room was not available in the cold season. Otherwise it is a pretty okay place for a short stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I like that this hotel is exactly how they described it. It is very near Akihabara Station. That is the most attractive point of this property. There is a Halal Indonesian Restaurant nearby. The room is small but it is comfortable. The bathroom and toilet is in the same space but that's alright as there are only 2 of us in the room. The bed is comfortable. Everything is perfect. The cleaning staffs sends us new fresh towels and yukata daily even when we put up that we don't need room cleaning. The staffs are very friendly. I booked 2 rooms and requested for the rooms to be near each other and they provided that. I also asked for the rooms to be at the lowest floor possible and they gave us the rooms at 2nd floor. Perfect! A hotel near train station, a comfortable bed and an excellent customer care service. What more can you ask for? I strongly recommend this hotel for other travelers,
I don't have anything that I don't like about this hotel. Everything is perfect. It was a perfect stay. Thank you APA Hotel Akihabara Ekihigashi. This is a beautiful hotel.

I was skeptical at first because the room was small but other that everything else was awesome. they have all the amenities u can think of it the room. they give u clean towels everyday. all the staff spoke english really well and very friendly. the location was a bit hard to find at first because it was in the alley way but it is also a 3 min walk to jr and toei station. we stayed at another hotel after to be closer to the airport before the day we leave and u can tell the difference right when u walk in.
