We had no problem checking in and out, everything went smoothly. Very basic room but okay for the price. Located in a quiet area to get a good night's sleep. It is a nice gesture for them to put some toiletries and other little necessities at the lobby level so you can pick what you need before you take the elevator up to your room.

Bed and pillow not very comfortable. Small sized room with no wardrobe etc. which is not suprising as this is Tokyo, but makes you think the design of the room could also be somewhat better to provide a little more comfort. The cleaning after the second day was okay but not very good. The front desk staff do not even look at you as you pass by or sometimes not respond to your greetings which can be a bit awkward but is no big deal.

Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Kanda location is great. It's near Akihabara which only take us around 15 minutes to walk there. 7-eleven and Family mart are closed by as well. Our room was spacious which allowed us to open 4 luggage together and still walk able. all facilities were great except a long waiting time for laundry. We love the breakfast! it was a highlight of our 2 weeks stay with the hotel. Good selection of healthy foods and I love the scramble eggs so so much. Staff were both professional and speak fluent English. Thank you and hope to come back soon!

Should consider to purchase more washing and dryer machine to cut down the waiting time,

The hotel was perfect for us (a traveling couple)!!! We loved our room, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities were perfect (we loved the pijamas and the hair dryer was pretty high quality!). We highlight the breakfast. It was so nutritious and delicious! They even had different smoothies every morning. We would definitely come back to this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, they received our pocket WiFi the day prior to our arrival, and helped us with sending our luggage to our next destination with the Yamato service. It was a perfect stay! Thank you so much!!!

Everything was perfect!

The washroom is very clean, which is very important to us. Nice breakfast buffet. Super friendly staff. Midtown location, walkable distance (5-10mins) to Akihabara and other rail stations for trains to most locations without changing routes. Only about 25 minutes walk to the sports equipment shopping area (Ocha no Mizu). Nice restaurants close by. Clean towels provided daily, which is not really useful to us. Their pillows and mattress are very comfortable.

They didn't ask if we needed clean towels per day. It's kind of a waste in my opinion. It's kind of a good and bad situation. Room size is not that big. We booked for a room for two with one bed. The room is a bit too small for our huge luggage, but we managed it anyway. We don't have our own snowboards with us this time. It will definitely be too small if we have that many stuff around (three huge checkin and two carry on) We didn't get to wash our clothes in this hotel, but it's definitely too small to hang your clothes drying. Consider washing less or use the dryer instead.

It was close enough to a few stations. The room quality was average. They had given us(family of 3) a room with a large queen bed but the bed and the room were too tight. So we had to pay extra to get a twin bed room. So we paid and the twin room was more comfortable for a family with a child.

They left our room door open for a full day when the cleaner had left the room without closing the door. When we got back at evening and notified the reception, they were so reluctant and gave us a lame apology! While this could make a huge loss for us as we had left all our luggages and belongings there. The other thing we did not like was the breakfast which was the same over 7 days we stayed at the hotel; not even a single bit was changing and there were no variety.

My stay was great. The rooms are clean, have a nice tv and air conditioning, with a nicely sized bathroom. Having complimentary breakfast every day was amazing, very clean and good food. The staff was very friendly and attentive and I never had any issues. The hotel is also very close (walking distance less than 15 min) to many different train stations and Akihabara neighborhood.

The rooms are small. I didn't spend very much time in my room at all so it wasn't a huge problem for me, but the rooms are compact. It was a decent size for me and my partner though, definitely doable. I knew the rooms would be on the smaller side in advance, so not a big surprise.

The hotel was very clean and the service was great. Everyone there was kind and helpful. The check in/out process is simple and quick to do. The location is in a quiet and clean area with easy access to different train stations that are about a 10 min walk. It’s also right by a 7eleven if you need to pull out cash at the ATM or just want a late night snack.

The breakfast was decent. It definitely had a nice variety but with so much GREAT food that you can find in Tokyo, it’s hard to compare it. It also was a little cold even if we got there right when breakfast started.

Very much enjoyed my time spent at this hotel. Everything was so simple and easy to take a 10 min walk to the station nearby. We were also walking distance to Akihabara, so there is no need to hop on a train for that if you prefer to walk instead. I also found it nice that they alwaya provide you with fresh towels each day and fix the bed for you, even if you fixed it yourself. Breakfast was a nice touch to have on top of knowing you can have your luggage sent out by Yamato Transport. This is super convenient as you do not have to worry about hauling your luggage around the train stations. As for the staff, very lovely and exceptional staff there. They are extremely helpful and assisted me with extending my stay for one more night with them there. Extra amenities can be requested to them as well (like a foot pillow!).

The only downside is the washer dryer function here. Did a couple of laundry loads on my own, but the dryer function never properly dried our clothes. Some came out wet still and would require 3 cycles or more to dry them out. Plan accordingly if you would like to get your laundry done as it can be busy at night and there is only 4 machines operating (2 wash n dry, 1 washer only, 1 dryer). One load cycle took up 2 hrs to get done, you might need more anyways because it does not fully dry your clothes properly.

Great location if you want to jump around Japan from Tokyo Station as its only a couple of stops away from Akihabara which is a 15 min walk away. Plus there's loads of other stations around that are 10 min walk away. Has lots of convenience stores and some restaurants. Staff are always friendly and helpful 🙂 rooms are very good size for Tokyo which was very appreciated! Also breakfast had a good variety so there was something for everyone.

Not the best selection of restaurants around sometimes. Bed can be considered a bit hard by some so be vary if you can't tolerate a stiffer bed. Breakfast could get a bit repetitive occasionally.

Location and easy to reach and find i. We stayed twice during my trip, at the beginning and at the end of my trip. Breakfast was ok, fruits were frozen. I loved the cereals section ❤️

Check in is confusing as they use this machine, they could finish quicker your check in if they take your passports and details instead of using that machine that does everything cos the machine most of the time doesn’t take properly your passport and then they have to do it for you, which I think is a waste of time. Pillows were too low as I have mentioned in another entry reviewing my last stay with them.
