Very clean, nice fitness area

You share the common area with everyone else and a lot of western men are walking around without shirts. Or they just change in the common area. Very disrespectful.

Location was good, close to subway station, convenient store just next door, big lockers, privacy with curtains , shampoo and conditioners in showers, towel provided. Lots of cleaners doing hard work every day that was amazing!! I was able to leave my snowboard bag at reception which was so nice and took a lot of stress off my shoulders!

Communication with stuff over google translate, they didn’t tell my anything to see or do, I had to organise myself. Locations a bit far from center but as mentioned above subway is close… if you wanna party then better stay close to shibuya or shinjuku! Last train is at midnight…

the mattress was comfortable, the capsule was spacious enough to put your personal items. I like that there are charging stations and lights. The main reason why I chose this hostel was the fact that there was a gym inside the building. it was open 24/7. I really liked the access to the gym. I will come back if I am traveling alone again!

For a hostel, there wasn't a space where you mingle with fellow travelers. other than that, it meets my expectations, the location is great, and the metro was a few steps away from the hostel.

I liked the accessibility to the metro, location in a rather quiet part of Tokyo, yet close enough (at times walkable) to some of the main sights of the city. Staff was lovely, coffee and smoothies were delicious! Food looked great too, but ended up not going back in time to give it a try! A small side note: the gym is not included in the booking price, but I paid 5€ for 3 nights - very affordable either way!

There isn't much of a common area, so do not expect to have a social atmosphere as in other hostels in the city!

Can’t praise this place enough. First of all, staff were the nicest of any place we’ve ever stayed in. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. We joined them on the ramen day trip and was great fun. Restaurant staff were also really nice and helpful. All went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Beds were most comfy of any capsule hostels we’ve been to. Rooms were great, temperature was fine and lockers were on same floor which was ideal. Very clean, beds and room area were thoroughly cleaned daily. Hostel is making the best of space they have. Saw some reviews complaining about common space. Couches in lobby were great for eating and relaxing but obviously can only fit a small number. Outside food was also not an issue ever but would definitely recommend trying out the cafe on first floor too. Smoothies are really nice! Gym was fantastic too. Well equipped and never too busy. Well worth including in your price if you’re interested. 10/10 experience, thanks so much to you all! We will definitely return if we are back in Tokyo.

On the cheaper side in Tokyo, but of good quality for a hostel! The place is a bit modern/industrial. Friendly staff, willing to help you with your questions. There is a supermarket and konbini next door. facilities are of expected quality. Breakfast is good and vegan if you want.

Not much actually! The decoration was a bit bare-bones/industrial, so if you expect luxury this isn't your thing. If you just want a relatively cheap place with good quality, then you are okay here.

If you are a gym rat and feel in your jigglybits that you need to get a workout in, this is by far the most convenient way to do it. No hassle of trying to get expensive day passes and all that. Staff are nice, place is clean, and gym is stocked just enough to do all the essential things.

If I am going to be 💯, I have had beds that were more comfortable in hostels comparable in price to this. But those places didn't have full on gyms, so it's give and take

The hostel is very well located, close to several metro and train stations. It has a stylish lobby with an on-site cafe. The beds are quite comfortable and there are lockers included. The showers were one floor up from where my room was, but that was no issue. And the staff were all super kind and eager to help whenever I had questions.

The water in the showers later in the evening was only luke-warm, but given the heat, it was not an issue.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and well priced. Staff were friendly and the cafe is nice with protein smoothies etc. If you are not concerned with too much luxury then in my opinion it’s pretty perfect.

Only negatives I can think of are that the beds are quite narrow (worked fine for me), and also there was an 880 YEN charge to use the gym (but I love the fact it had a gym).

I stayed at Obi Hostel from the 1”first to the third December. Firstly, the staff was really nice and helpful (Miyabi in particular 🥹❤️) The gym was magic, top, well equipment for 880 yen per day (definitely good value for money) In addition for those who really love Espresso in the morning, here they make it really well (not everyone in Tokyo knows how to make Espresso 🫣) Beds are comfortable, private and clean and have private curtains. I will definitely come back again ❤️.
