Property was very clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great water pressure for a wonderful hot shower. Location was excellent for seeing things in the area. Many food choices in the area. We opted to include breakfast and were not disappointed. Enjoyed the BLT sandwich with coffee. The staff at the coffee shop were also very nice.

Of course room is on the small side but we didn’t spend that much time there and were able to work around each other. Bed is on the hard side and 1 pillow each is provided. I was able to ask for a second pillow and one was provided. These aren’t really complaints; just statements of fact.

We only stayed one night, but the hotel is lovely. Many amenities, everything you could need is provided at the reception. Booked a Superior Double Room via booking and got a good deal. Small but smart, excellent bed and space overall. Shower was great. Breakfast is basic, but ok. We recommend and would stay here again for sure!

I loved my stay at sotetsu akasaka! Wonderful location and right in front of akasaka station (chiyoda line!). Easy to navigate and the room itself was lovely. It was small but very cozy and comfortable bed!!! Would definitely stay again in any of the sotetsu franchise. I love the help yourself station at the lobby and also the hair styling rental facilities (hair straightener, curling iron, curling dryer). I was worried about bad hair days as I can’t use my styling tool from home!! Amazing!!! Plus the pajamas was so comfortable!! 10/10 stars!!!

The pillows provided were a bit lumpy but I saw some signs that we were able to ask for orthopedic pillows. We didn’t ask for it as we always travel with our own pillows but keep that in mind when you stay! Staff is lovely and willing to help. :)

This was our first time staying in Tokyo, and we couldn't have been happier with the location of this hotel - opposite a subway station so it's easy to connect to other lines, and it would be considered a "quieter" area which we really appreciated after big days in tourist-heavy areas. A lot of konbini and great restaurants within walking distance too, and all the amenities provided by the hotel were great - the on-site washer/dryers were very handy to access as well. The staff were brilliant and always willing to help out with whatever we needed, including some personal printing that was required during our stay.

We knew this going in - the rooms were small. Think like a cruise ship cabin. However, the rooms are tidy, and we did have a smoking room which had a lingering smell but nothing overpowering. As long as you're organised with your suitcases and bathroom schedules, it's perfect for a couple who are really only wanting a room to sleep in - if you want a space to relax and lounge around, this is probably not the place for you.

Location: First of all, the location was absolutely perfect! It is just steps away from one station and about 10 minute walk to another main station so you can pretty much reach any area of Tokyo very easily. It also has several restaurants very close, we particularly like a curry place that was in the corner. It also has a coffee place that is very cozy and the included breakfast is quite okay. Facilities: The facilities were very clean, the room was as expected and very quiet as well with air conditioner. Staff: The staff is very polite, nice and super helpful.

It is not that we didn't like, but the rooms are a bit small so it is difficult to store more than one big suitcase.

There was a building site adjacent to the hotel on our side so some noise in morning but not a major. We were booked in to a superior room.. it was quite small but clean and comfortable with a small fridge and kettle. Bathroom has shower in bath. Not sure how the room compares with a standard room. Complimentary coffee sachets etc are available at reception for all guests. Cafe on site. Staff are helpful. Location suited us well with Akasaka metro station very close and area seemed very pleasant. Good value overall. Got monorail from Haneda airport to Hamamatsucho then metro. 72hr Tokyo subway ticket is a must and covers both of the extensive metro lines.

We had an excellent stay at Sotetsu Fresa Akasaka for the first half of our honeymoon. The hotel provides useful amenities to borrow such as hair styling tools and umbrellas. The proximity to Akasaka station is amazing and the hotel is only 10 minutes from Harajuku. It was easy to travel by train to Ginza, Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, and the TeamLab planets area. I would recommend this hotel for an affordable stay. There is a quiet neighborhood shrine nearby that is worth a visit.

The only thing I can think of is limited storage area in the room, but that is typical for a Japanese hotel.

The location of this hotel was perfect! It is within walking distance to Roppongi, only two stops away from Shibuya and only ten to fifteen minutes away from the rest of central Tokyo. My partner and I stayed there for 11 nights (!) and we fit three big suitcases, a small suitcase and two backpacks just fine. As we were preparing to move into our new flat in the city, we also frequently went shopping for home goods like electronics, work clothes etc and they also fit. Laundry was very good. The amenities were plenty and the room and facilities were very clean. They also called a taxi for us and helped us with storing our luggage.

While we fit all suitcases, the room is a bit small but for the price we paid, we were happy either way! Just mentioning it as it may be a dealbreaker for some people, in case they want a huge room.

Location is great! It is just opposite of Akasaka subway station. Its surrounding is quiet, many restaurants nearby within 10-15mins walk. It has filtered tap water. Ample space for 2 person compared to other small hotels. They provided pajamas at the lobby and you can even loan hair straightener/charger/curling dryer/steamers/electric lamps for free at the lobby. Laundry is on the 2nd floor and it's about 600yen for 3kg load wash and dry.

Fantastic location, just opposite the subway station. Room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The area was also close to many restaurants, some open very late at high can be convenient after a full day of site seeing. Also right beside the convenient store which we visited every day. Would stay here again next time we were in Tokyo
