Everything was shockingly great here for what you pay. We needed to be in this area for a meeting & the other 2 places we stayed in two months earlier weren’t available so we chose this hotel and it was pretty amazing & super cheap compared to other hotels where we stayed. We actually changed hotels for our last two nights in tokyo and wished we had just stayed all 3 nights here because we splurged on the next hotel which was 3X the cost as this hotel & not worth it at all. The evening happy hour hear was also great. Very clean room, not huge but not too tiny. And we actually had a decent ( pretty) city view from our window. There are lots of cool bars and cafes within walking distance from the hotel too.

I don’t remember disliking anything here.

Location in Akasaka was great! A very close walk to one station, and just a little further (10-15 mins) to the others, had no trouble getting to anywhere in Tokyo. Room was expectedly small, but manageable (I was expecting a really tiny room from the reviews, and I think that expectation helped with the actual room experience). If you are used to American hotel sizes, think of something about half the normal size. I would say for one person, the size is great for a trip to Tokyo! As a two person group, it was a pretty cramped, but not the absolute worst. Hopefully you won't be spending too much time in your hotel room anyway! Room was clean, and the staff were all nice and excellent!

The only small "complaint" I think would be the shower in our room - it was a detached shower head, but looks like it had been replaced since the bathroom was built, and didn't correctly fit the shower. It was a little difficult to manage, but overall okay. Water pressure and hot water were great though!

The staff were just lovely, so friendly, efficient and went out of their way to accommodate any of our requests. The location was a few minutes walk only from two metro stations and in a safe area. There was a jazz club right across the road so that was fun. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. The room was clean when we arrived and we had plenty of supplies. Another plus is that the hotel give you a portable wifi to take with you, which made life easy multiple times. There is also a great view from the top floor balcony.

I would prefer if there was an electric kettle in the room. We like tea every morning and had to go downstairs for boiled water.

The location is just a 5 minute walk to Akasaka Station and has a 7-11 next door, downstairs. It's a bit of an uphill (not too steep), so it may be a bit challenging lugging your luggage going to the hotel. You could always use the Tameike-sanno Station route if you don't want to be going uphill every time.

There were some hairs on the carpeted floor (which are definitely not mine since they are blonde and long). I guess it can't be helped as it's quite difficult to clean that. It would just be better if they had a cold water dispenser available for free for guests so I don't have to buy water from convenience stores every time.

Very good place to stay in Tokyo. A bit on the side of Tokyo hustle, but close enough to many Akasaka restaurants and walking distance from 3 metro lines (5-10 min depending on the station). Since I was a solo traveler I got a room which was rather on the smaller side, but I had enough space to put luggage and belongings without making the room messy (there was even space to roll out a yoga mat). There was also a small table with a stool. The bed was big and super comfortable, linen fresh and fluffy. The rooms are quite well sound isolated. There is a cleaning service every 3rd day. Hotel facilities as the rooftop and coworking space make a longer stay quite pleasant.

Hours of serving breakfast are very early 6:30-9:00. But since cafe serves as coworking space, it’s quite logical they want to keep it calm after 9:00.

Great location, polite helpful staff, clean rooms. Always a hello every day from all staff, booked a cab on leaving hotel for us. Visiting our Son over Christmas, very close for us to his flat. Good value over Christmas period. Room cleaned every 3rd day but always clean towels available at reception. Toiletries available and also Tea and coffee.

Room was big for Tokyo size but had to live from suitcase as limited hanging space which I did expect. Water at reception would be good, although vending machine available.

Staff are very helpful and very accomodating. Love that they are super nice. 🫶🏻 The room I booked was spacious for one person. Also, I booked another room from another booking site and the hotel helped me directly change the dates of my booking and have it on the same floor. There were complimentary essentials like comb, face and body creams, bath salts in the lobby. The bathroom was clean too.

I booked a non-smoking room however, the room smelled bad yet bearable. The spray from the hotel didn’t help. The breakfast is only Japanese, same taste just different kind of fish everyday but since it’s somehow a traditional hotel, the food is okay to try. :)

This hotel is fantastic! A really comfortable room which is the standard smaller Japanese style. I still had room for my 1 large suitcase (2 suitcases might have been tricky!) The bathroom was a decent size with good hot water and the bed was comfy and it was warm in this chilly winter. The Japanese breakfast is amazing. It's delicious soup rice that changes each morning and a small station with toast, fruits and juices. You grind your own fresh coffee in the morning! The Japanese breakfast is meat based so vegetarians will be sad. The staff were so kind and friendly and stored my luggage for a day while I went to an event.

I'm so happy with our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, since the nearest train station (Akasaka) was just a 5 to 10min walk away. And apparently, that station is heavily Harry Potter-themed, and the Harry Potter Cafe was literally across the station. ♥️ Aside from that, the hotel itself was so homey and the staff were all so kind and nice. There were also free stuff and essentials you can get in the lobby. The room was really spacious compared to other Japanese hotels I've been to, and it made unpacking and packing our stuff such a breeze. It also had a really nice view of the city. Everything we needed was inside the room. I would love to book this hotel again if I come back to Tokyo. One of the best.

One thing I would have preferred maybe is free drinking water at the lobby. But they had free coffee and tea for their guests, though.

The location is very central, and the neighborhood is safe, with plenty of restaurants and bars. The hotel is lovely, and the rooms were cozy and equipped with all necessary amenities. While there is no boiler in the room, coffee, tea, cookies, and more are available at the reception 24/7. The staff was simply amazing—friendly and always willing to help at any time. If I'll go back to Tokyo, for sure I'll book in this hotel.

The breakfast is not a buffet, which isn’t an issue in itself, but it does limit the options for choice.
