Fabulous location, very large room with space to sit at a table to eat dinner, large bathroom, excellent views from rooftop garden, very helpful, professional and friendly staff with strong English skills.

Location close to Shinjuku station, but in a quieter area which was nice. There was a Seven Eleven very close. Room very spacious for Japanese standards - the only problem was storage - there was a wardrobe but with only hanging space. Some shelves would be nice! Hotel has laundry facilities that we used and also provides free cosmetics like UV cream, moisturiser etc. You can also send your luggage directly from the hotel using courier service (Yamato Kuroneko), which we did - staff completed the form for me (very helpful!). Overall, I would definitely stay again!

Lack of storage - just wardrobe with hanging space - we stayed for 8 nights so shelves would be nice.

Very spacious for Tokyo. The apartment is well-equipped. The staff is fluent in English and always available to answer your questions/requests. It's about 10mins walk from Shinjuku station but if that's too far for some people, there's a convinient ¥100 bus. You can also use the underground tunnel at Washington Hotel next door to go to the station if it's raining or too cold to be outside.

Convenient location, easy walk to supermarket and fruit and vegetable shop, and into Shinjuku shops.

nothing really, it was the most comfortable and well appointed room, but my favourite thing of all, is that we had a room around the back of the hotel, and I could open the window and get fresh air in. They advertise that it is a home away from home, and I loved that the staff respected where we put things and left them in place, so that we felt at home. The cleaning schedule took a little bit to get used to, but then we were fine, we knew which day they changed the bed linen, etc

The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked having the coin laundry available in the hotel as well as restaurant recommendations at the front desk. It was great to have enough space to eat a meal and enjoy time after long days out.

Would have liked more storage options. In a room designed for a family of four there was very little options to put away clothes or belongings neatly. We were there for a week and would have liked to keep the place tidy but this was difficult without simple things like, bedside shelves or tables, drawers for clothes and other items. It was a little far to walk from Shinjuku station everyday.

We absolutely loved staying here at Mimaru Tokyo Shinjuku West. From early arrival and being welcomed so warmly from the lovely staff after a very long flight and being able to have early access to our room (with cost which we were happy with) to having helpful information about transport, good restaurants, other information when needed. It was a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku Station which made easy access to getting around Tokyo once we understood the train system. Some great coffee places within 15 - 20 min walk. Having a kitchen made it easy for us to cook, being gluten allergy this helped a lot. Washing machines and dryers were great to have in the building too. Beds were comfortable. Room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children with our suitcases and for our babes to play.

Only down side was that the doona on the bed was so warm and it would have been good to have a cooler option in such hot weather.

It was fairly convenient to eateries and ask the convenience store you could want. Major train station hub of only a ten minute walk from hotel. There are a few access close by. Bus service very close as well. Safe facilities. You need room card to tap in for elevator and access to hotel after 22:00 hrs. Counter attended to during regular business hours. Room was spacious, ask things considered. We had 4 in the room and there were individual beds separate bathroom from toilet make it convenient. Small kitchenette to warm up your haul from a convenience store.

The distance to transportation huh is close but can seem far after a long day of walking out of you have little kids. Definitely safe walk when late at night. The unit seemed a bit smaller than other properties but still fine.

Front desk staff speak good English. Room is clean. Many restaurants in the neighborhood.

Walking distance from Shijuku station is a bit far. The hotel is really basic, no breakfast, no facilities other than laundry. there are many people staying in the hotel and using the laundry facilities. However, there are only 2/3 washing machines and the capacity of each machine is not big enough, so there is always someone queuing up for laundry.

A Wonderful Stay I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The lobby is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. The amenities were top-notch, including a lovely pool area and a well-equipped fitness center. The hotel’s location is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing recommendations for nearby restaurants or arranging transportation, they were always attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed!

The location was good and close to the station, with a 15 minute walk which we got more and more used to each day. There's a few convenience store options around the hotel which is great for a quick snack or late night dessert. Getting our trash and towels replaced each day was nice and if staying longer, bed sheet changes were a nice touch. There's free umbrellas for use during rainy days, just make sure you remember to return them. The bathroom was nice and big with sizeable bathtub so you can have a proper soak after a long day walking around Shinjuku and beyond. The room itself is spacious so that we could have dinners inside when we feel like staying in due to rain or extreme tiredness.

The laundry is a paid service on the second floor, which I'm glad I didn't stay on because you can really smell the dryers when enter to that level. It doesn't cost a lot to use the washer and dryer but it does definitely add up over time when you're washing every second day.
