It's was a last minute discovery and I was extremely happy with what I got and at that price. The room was spacious and the extra Japanese tatami area provided extra space to stretch, relax, watch TV, and best of all to open up suitcases and pack. I was quite surprised with the space I got in the apartment, while initially fearing the photos would be different than real life, knowing how small Tokyo hotels usually are. The beds were comfy, and we all fell asleep super quickly. The TV was a smart TV with YouTube, Netflix and Abema set up, but we plugged in our Amazon Fire Stick and the WiFi was enough for streaming. Location wise, it's a short walk to JR Okachimachi station which is served by the Yamanote line so getting around is super easy. Ueno and Ameyoko is also easily walkable and best part is its proximity to the Keisei Ueno Skyliner. Yes, it's very close to the tracks but the noise didn't bother us at all.

Not enough toilet paper and tissue paper in the room, had to go downstairs to get more if it wasn't housekeeping day (every 3 days). Wish the room had a few extras lying around. Remote control for lights didn't work..

Smells and looks clean. Lay out of space is quite thoughful and efficient for my family of five. I love having the toilet closet near the room entry area and is separated from the shower area. Ample space in the laundry and sink area. We used the washer/dryer combo every night and request for laundry detergent at the front desk. It takes about 3.5-4 hours per load, dried and ready to wear. Well litted room with everything you need in the kitchen area. We ate late so we also made used of the toaster, microwave, stovetop with pots provided, water kettle for tea and boiling water for ramen. We did not use the air co since it was cold in December. The train noise was expected but we slept through it. Front Staff were attentive and our room was cleaned on the 3rd night.

For small adjustment for future stays: Nice to have the entrance light on motion-sensor for a nice litted area. I didn’t need to look for the switch to turn on but whomever sleeping in the bed at the direction of the glare from the light when brightened may disrupt their sleep whenever someone passed by and trigger the sensor for light to turn on again. A sleeping eye mask helped. Suggesting a minimalist style space divider on the ceiling to help with the motion light sensor.

My stay at MONday Apart Premium Rate Ueno Okachimachi was an absolute delight! The luxurious accommodations, paired with the convenient location near Ueno and Okachimachi, made it an ideal spot for exploring Tokyo. The exceptional service and attention to detail made my experience truly unforgettable.

Despite an otherwise fantastic stay at MONday Apart Premium Rate Ueno Okachimachi, there were no significant issues to highlight. The seamless check-in process, immaculate room, and attentive service left no room for any grievances. It was an all-around exceptional experience, and I couldn't find any aspect that didn't meet or exceed expectations.

The room is fully equipped. Our room has a single bed and a double bed, and a bunk bed (the upper bed is foldable). We had enough space for our big luggages. The is a hanging rack in one corner of the room for clothes, just enough for several heavy jackets. The kitchen is perfect, we cooked everyday during our stay. There are 2 supermarkets in 5-7 mins walk (the one on the left hand side when you walk out of the property is more affordable and open 24/7). We loved the washing machine, it is a combined washer-dryer, which is very convenient and cost effective compared to coin laundry. We loved the location, it is nearby a subway and a JR station, and close to Ueno - a transit hub, 10 mins by train to Tokyo station.

They have another Monday Ueno Okachimachi nearby so be careful. We went ot the wrong one at first because couldnt find this one in google map. Overall, good stay. Room is big for family of 4, they have in room washer/dryer which is a plus point. The location is superb. 5mins walk to JR okachimachi station and few other subway stations. 10mins walk to the famous Ameyoko Shopping Street. Lawson just opposite the hotel. For muslim, there’s 2 halal shop nearby the hotel.

They didnt provide room cleaning services everyday but its not a big problem for us. Still enjoy our stay there.

I like the location, very close to the subway station, the street food market and the convenience store.

This is what I did not like. The TV channels are all in japanese language. A few english channels would have been welcome. You should consider providing for your foreign guests. We did not have hot water on one specific day, supposedly due to a power failure, and we could not take our bath at the usual time. My wife was quite upset when she was the first to shower with cold water. So as a form of goodwill compensation I asked to keep my bathrobe but I was denied this complimentary gesture. This is very poor customer service. You can imagine my disappointment.

The property is close to railway stations - including the express train to Narita airport. Okachimachi station is just a few minutes away down the road. The facilities are great and the neighbourhood is convenient and good for food shopping. The bathroom was well appointed and the washer-drier was super convenient.

The railway lines run along the hotel and you can hear them, especially at night (although they stop at around midnight). But we found we didn’t really notice, or it didn’t bother us after a while. My son loved watching the different kinds of trains going by. The staff were super nice and helpful but many couldn’t really use English. They relied mostly on a translation app but this is not ideal.

The property is less than 5 mins from the train station, close to restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. The staff was nice, the room was clean and equipped with everything that we need and more!

I like the hotel really, but if I need to mention something, maybe because it’s so close to the train station that you can hear the train passing by. However, I don’t think it’s loud at all, and we didn’t mind it. We still slept soundly.

Location close to Ueno & Okachimachi stations was excellent. Good bar next door and restaurants close by as well as a Lawson convenience store across the road. Easy to walk to lots of shops & food outlets. Room size was 35sqm which was great for a longer stay.

Our room overlooked the train line whereas our companion had a room at the back of the hotel without the train noise. Worth asking for a quieter room.

As a family of 5 (2A and 3C) it was great that we could get everyone into 1 room for logistic reason. Apartment style, with comfy beds, they left us with plenty of towels for our stay. The best part for us was the location, only 300m to Okachimachi (JR) station and there you connect onto the Yamanote and Keihin line and you're set. Also because we use the Keisei Skyliner to get to and from Narita Airport, it was one of the reasons for use choosing this hotel. The area is less crowded and much suited to our family to get on and off the trains. The other great thing is being near Ueno Park, museums and Ameyoko shopping street of Ueno. Lots of places to eat near by. Staff were friendly, no problem with the language (can always use translation app). Though check-in time is 3pm and we arrived at 10am. We were able to get into our room by noon. So that was a bonus!

There's no daily room clean. But you can use the vacuum cleaner provided. If you have younger kids, it would be more appreciative if the cleaning was a bit more regular.
