Absolutely convenient location in close proximity to two metro lines (Asakusa, Toei Oedo), convenient stores, and some decent restaurant options. Rooms have everything you need and you can get daily amenities from the lobby. Free fresh ground coffee is greatly appreciated. A bottle of water is given daily. Rooms are perfectly clean once you get back from your daily adventure. Can't ask for anything more in my opinion.

Not from personal experience, but I did notice certain questionable interactions from the front desk staff with other guests. A guest needed help calling a taxi and the FD staff seemed like they didn't want to help. Agent kept saying "Please call them yourself." Another guest wanted a damaged suitcase to be disposed of. One FD agent said they could do it but there would be a fee. Which was fine. Then another agent interjected and said no they don't do that. I found this a bit shocking coming from Japanese hotel staff, who are held to the highest standards in hospitality. It may have been just hotel policy, but I felt that it could've been handled in another way.

Good security. You need the room key card to use the hotel elevator to access other floors. There’s also a coffee machine,snacks and some manga for guests at the lobby reception floor. Breakfast menu are mostly light meals with salads and drinks.

While there’s lots of entrance space in the room, the toilet is quite cramp. Be careful not to slip or hit your head against the wall/door handle.

Location was great, a minute walk to Kuramae station and there are a lot of convenience stores nearby. Room was very modern, clean and comfortable, and space was just right for one person.

- Could hear noises and people walking from outside as room was right beside the lift lobby - There is a buzzing sound from the air conditioner at times not sure what it was but was quite distracting

A short walk to Kuramae station which thankfully has lifts to street level. It’s a new building and the room was excellent. We could get a glimpse of Tokyo Skytree from our window. Front staff were most helpful.

Excellent location, close to everything. The train station is literally right in front of the hotel. Absolutely love the laundry area and free drinks in the lobby. They helped store our luggage after we checked out, which was lovely. The room is well equipped and pretty comfy for a short stay.

The room is much smaller compared to the pictures. I booked the standard one (13m2), and although it is said to be able to accommodate 2 people, please only book when you are on your own. It is two packed for 2 people in that room. As international traveller, you can just open your big suitcase to take something out, and there will be no space left to walk in the room. The bathroom is quite small, so it can be tricky to manage.

Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae is the best Hotel to stay at if you plan to visit the Tokyo Skytree, Senso-ji Temple or Nakamise-dori Street. The downstairs has a great breakfest restaurant. (It's rare that some places open before 11 AM) You are safe walking the streets or you can stroll down the boardwalk of the Sumida River. The facilities are nice and clean and Cozy. All APA hotels are pretty cozy. The best bang for the buck.

The lack of grounded plugs for laptops.

The location was great, few minutes walk from Senso-ji temple and the busiest part of Asakusa. Plenty of eating places and convenience stores nearby. There is also a metro station just on the other side of the road and other lines within walking distance. The size of the room was reasonable and clean. They also had a small public bath, free for the hotel clients. When I needed to extend my stay of an extra night due to unexpected flight cancellation, the lady at the reception was extremely helpful.

The breakfast was a bit limited, 5 fixed options at the cafe on the ground floor. Also the earliest you could have breakfast was 7 am. With hindsight, I wouldn't have booked a room with breakfast included. When I asked one of the employees if they could book me a taxi to the airport, he made one phone call and said (through google translator because he didn't really speak english) that it wasn't possible and to flag a taxi in front of the hotel instead. I needed a taxi at 5 am so not sure how easy it would've been to find one at that time. I ended up booking a private transport through booking.com instead. Maybe this is normal in Japan but I've never had a hotel unable to book a taxi before.

Very nice hotel with kind, welcoming staff. The bed was quite comfy and overall room size was pretty good. We were very happy to have use of a vending machine and laundry facilities and the free coffee in reception. Location was good with only a 10 min walk to Asakusa Station and a 7-11 and Oedo Line entrance directly across the street from hotel entrance.

Pillows were quite hard which made sleeping difficult some nights. The remote for our television didn't work and view from room wasn't very good and was just facing into an alleyway. We couldn't use the public bath due to having tattoos but understand the reasoning for these restrictions.

Very good location near the train station and going to Asakusa station and the famous tourist spot is around 10-15min by walking. The room is clean and tidy. Cleaned up the room daily and gave us the clean towels and pyjamas for bathhouse even they hang up outside the room when they can’t enter the room for room making. Free coffee and snack provided in the lobby. The hotel environment is pleasant. Overall is good and recommended.

The air conditioning was not cooling well. The Japanese style curtain penetrates the day light arousing me too early. 😀
