The room was a bit small but affordable for the 4nights I was staying. Really close to all the main stations if you are traveling. Breakfast was yummy, coffee was delicious. The staff were super friendly, professional and attentive. I didn’t speak any Japanese but they knew some English words here and there. I would stay here again but I would get a bigger room next time and pay a little extra.

The lady at the restaurant used the same gloves to handle trash and food. She went back and forth from tidying up the trash bin, then handle food. She should change her gloves.

The breakfast was a lot of variety and always have fish, and meat everyday with rice and vegie. They provide 2 types of soup daily, and switch the breakfast menu everyday. They provide free, good quality toiletries and pajamas. Kitchen staff was very helpful when we asked the type of meat (pork or other than pork). They will check the ingredients of the food packet and let us know what is in the food. The table in the room is comfortable to do work. The water pressure for shower is great!

The tv channel is very limited and no english subtitle. The distance from the hotel to the train station is not that near. The bus stop is nearer (a block away) to go to Tokyo Station.

30minutes walking from Tokyo stn. TAXI: 1,000¥-1,400¥ depends on traffic, 2-5 mins walk to nihonbash metro station (1 min from yaesu central exit) from tokyo - 2 stops line E to Monzen-Nakacho then ~10 mins walk to toyoko inn.) Easy checking in and out Good customer service Decent brekky (on 1st day, everything-scrambled eggs, fish - was way too sweet but from next day, all good) Everyday, new towels provided -hanging on the door every morning, accidentally paid for a new towel(1000¥)- PJ and toothbrush&some other stuff downstairs, and sleepers already in the room

We had to change our arrival date, so we checked to the hotel to change the booking. The staff politely told us to change through the booking website, and when we changed it to smoking room (unknowingly), the staff quickly called us to let us know. We're very thankful! Check-in was smooth and overall stay was also worth the price. If you're coming from Tokyo Station, using bus is the easiest way to reach the hotel. So many buses to go around, such as Tsukishima, Toyosu, or Ariake. Two metro lines are also running nearby. There's also many choice of kombini and restaurants nearby. If you speak Japanese, try some local izakaya, it was a nice experience to me!

The laundy room were almost always full. We were staying for a week so we can wash our clothes between check-out/in timing, but usually it's always full on night or morning before check-out time.

Was a great location, very central, and an easy walk to the station and konbinis. It was also right next to the canals which were a beautiful sight at night time. New towels and hand cloths were provided every morning, and a breakfast buffet which was convenient on lazy mornings. Very polite staff. Would stay again, decent value for money :)

Only real problem was the bed. It was basically a rock. If you're a light sleeper or need extra support for your back, I'd look for somewhere else.

A comfortable stay in a pleasant hotel close to Monzen-nakacho metro station. Good facilities and helpful staff. Perfect for a cheaper night in Tokyo if you want to spend most of your time out and about.

They were packing away breakfast just before 9 when they said it would be until 9:30, luckily we were down before in time to get food. Walked up to get a refill of apple juice and it was literally being taken away so be careful!

The location was perfect. The subway station is walking distance and there’s plenty of bus lines nearby to catch as well. The breakfast is nothing extravagant but very tasty nonetheless. Well worth the price paid for.

The hotel breakfast area is very small and not many seats available during the rush hour. So you’ll have to go for breakfast early if you want to avoid having to stand and wait for people to finish their meals for an empty seat.

The staff at Tokyo Inn impressed us with their exceptional politeness and willingness to help, despite a language barrier. Their warm welcome and proactive efforts to address our questions made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

While our stay at Tokyo Inn was generally pleasant, We must note that the beds were a bit too firm for our liking, slightly detracting from the overall experience. The room's comfort could be improved with softer bedding, providing a more restful sleep for guests.

Worth of money as I have 5 person in a group and I get 3 rooms in Toyoko Inn which we have 3 toilets for 5 of us. If I get apartment type (Airbnb) for 5 of us, then we would need to fight over 1 bathroom. The room is just nice for 2 person. Bathroom is small, but still OK. Breakfast is included.

It depends on individual. I would like to have a place that < 500m from metro. However this Toyoko Inn is about 800 - 900m from metro station which need to walk for about 10 - 15min. After a long day walking around Tokyo, is too tired to walk back. Also the breakfast may not have enough for people who came late, came near to the end of breakfast time, the food only left a bit.
