Rooms are clean and in good condition. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and only few min walking from Ueno's busy areas so short distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. This hotel shines with very convenient location (which was primary reason for booking this hotel). Hotel is near Ueno station (7-8min walking), Okachimatchi (6-7min walking), Inaricho (5-6min walking) and Shin-Okachimachi (4-5min walking) so we could access pretty much all Tokyo and nearby areas without much trouble.

Rooms are small and can get bit chilly at night if the AC is not used.

There is added security after 9pm at lobby, passcode needed to enter. I like that they provided a table lamp which I used as night light. I can fully open my 28inch luggage. Friendly staff can communicate in English and Chinese. Double room is just nice for 1 person. Luggage weighting machine in the lobby was useful.

I was bitten by some insects after staying for the first night, not sure what kind. There was no full length mirror in the room. There was no electricity plug near the bed.

The area is very quiet. It is walking distance to Inaricho Station (Ginza Line) and Ueno Station is about 1km away. If you are bringing heavy bags and would like to ride a taxi from Ueno station, it’s about 700 - 1000jpy only. Ueno Park and Ueno Night Market is just around the corner. Staff speaks English and they are also very responsive to your message via Booking app. 7/11 store is also one block away.

It is a budget hotel so expect that the room is not so spacious. However we were able to fit 2 large luggages and our personal bags. Front desk is available from 9am to 9pm only so if you need something you need to inform them during that window. The room has basic equipment, if you need something else - like in my case a flat iron for clothes, you need to ask from the front desk. I hope they can also provide disposable spoon in the common area.

Very convenient hotel well located in Tokyo. Check-in and check out went very smoothly and the staff was extremely nice

The room was really small.

No breakfast

We were on top floor level 7, with ample space with 2 double beds and also a tatami area. Great location, walking distance to Ameyoko market street and about 19min walk to Akibahara. Lots of foreigners at market but still a really good vibe. Close to convenience stores and Yamato Transport to take your luggages for forwarding.

Room had a strong and unpleasant smell when the aircon was not turned on. Not sure if from vent. Staff was a little reluctant to help with filling out forms for luggage forwarding until I said I got a prior message from the hotel to confirm they can help.

Small but comfortable, we could fit our suitcases under the bench so had heaps of space. Bed is a good fit for two people. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great bathroom. Tea and coffee always available and lots of bits and pieces you might need can be taken up to the room (there is no cleaning of the room until day 3 which is fine with us as I don’t like to waste towels by having them washed every day). Very friendly staff - our flight was delayed so we ended up arriving after check in time but they send through the details to enter the hotel and left a key in a secure box for us which was fantastic.

Slightly far from Ueno station about a 15 min walk. Completely fine but a little annoying with luggage.

The room was exactly what we needed. Definitely small but honestly for one night it was just fine. The staff was so kind and friendly and even helped us find places to eat. I’d definitely recommend this spot. Also being within an 8min walk from Ueno station is a plus

Excellent location: it's a 10-15 minute walk to Ueno park and the main Ueno station, but on a very quiet side street. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, along with a drug store, which was helpful after getting mosquito bites and a blister. There is also a large indoor shopping center by the station, which was nice on a day that we couldn't travel due to a nearby monsoon. A nice public laundromat is a block away, which enabled us to skip the hassle of checked luggage. The staff are very friendly and speak English, which was helpful because my Japanese is rusty! The AC worked very well, which was important at night since the summer heat was intense even then. The toilet has a bidet and a heated seat. In Ueno station, be sure to visit Andersen's for great breakfast pastries and T's Tantan for amazing vegan ramen; near the hotel visit Monster Grill for sizzling hot steaks.

A one bedroom room is very small, but that doesn't really matter because why are you in your room when you're in Tokyo?!

Room is slightly smaller than compared to our stay in Kyoto and Osaka. I wish there is more space between the table and the bed as bed basically functioned as a chair due to how close it is. The wifi was consistently disconnecting or slow so sometimes it is very hard to plan for my next day's trip. Room is slightly less clean than compared to other Japan hotel, but it is still very passible. Overall it is decent but not the best stay.
