1) Location is really close to Ueno station, exit 6. There's a 7-11 and Lawson close by too. 2) Staffs were polite and friendly 3) Fast response in terms of communication, smooth check in 4) Clean bedroom, amenities like shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, toothbrush and toothpaste all provided 5) Grateful for a washing machine and the drying function in the bathroom allowed us to wash and dry the clothes overnight or when we were out

1) named hotel but not really a hotel, only provide house keeping once a week. I stayed 6 nights and hence no house keeping 2) no luggage forwarding service 3) pillows were hard and feathers piercing out of the pillows 4) the sofa bed, it's creaking each time we get up and down

Great location, right next to Ueno station, restaurants, bars and shopping. Having an equipped kitchen for our family was extremely useful, loads of family marts and 7elevens around for groceries. Great shower and toiletries. Had a washing machine which was helpful too. Felt a little cramped for a family of 6 (teenagers) after 4 days, but wasn’t a big deal, especially for such a central location in Tokyo.

Found the beds to be a little hard, (not as plush) but found this in every place we’ve stayed in Japan. A dryer or clothes hanger would have been convenient, but were able to dry clothes in the bathroom anyway. Overall a great place to stay

A nice small hotel located on a quiet street near the main attractions of Ueno. Just a 5-minute walk from Ueno’s major train and metro hub, it made our trips around Tokyo and to the airport very convenient. The staff was very helpful. Although the hotel does not manage suitcase transportation to other cities, they took the time to prepare all the necessary documents for us, which we handed directly to the transporter. The room was well-equipped but relatively small for our group of two adults and two kids with all our luggage. However, small rooms are common in Tokyo.”

A lot of thoughts have been put in to this small hotel. The drying function in the bathroom for our wet clothes is what we love the most. There are a lot of small details for a family of 4 to stay comfortably in this hotel. Above all, it was a one minute walk to Ueno Station which we caught our train to Narita Airport with ease. No carrying of our loaded luggage at all. There was an elevator at the street that linked to the station.

We would give it a 10 if not for the small size room although we were out most of the time. The challenge came when we were packing to check out the next day. There’s barely space to open our big luggage.

It`s a aparthotel with all necessary items that we need as a family. Just like a home. Close to the huge JR Ueno station and subways. Choose exit 3 or 2 of Hibiya/Ginza subway line. From JR Ueno, get to Asakusa exit and you`ll see a huge bridge to cross the main road. The bridge got lift and escalator as well. The hotel close to the escalator. The Ameyoko shopping street just about 2 min by crossing the main road. Since it is close to the Ueno station, so the Ueno park&zoo are just within walking distance. I love the location.

At night I could hear several times sound of siren. Just wondered why & what actually happening??!

Location of the property was excellent. Very near shopping, dining and most importantly the train station. The facility was very easy to find and extremely clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room was extremely small. It states that it can fit four people but in reality it fits 2 adults and 2 small children. We were a party of 3 adults and 1 child and the beds were very small (a bit bigger than an extended twin). Also I would recommend with a space so small that the beds be changed to platform beds in order to accommodate luggage storage under the bed.

The hotel is in a great spot! Across the street from the street market, 6 minute walk from the Marui mall and Ueno Station. I assume most hotels in the area and similar price are going to be tight on space as was this one, but the kitchenette, washer, and deep soaking tub make up for it I think. The staff was kind and helpful. I didn’t need much during my short stay but the woman in charge of the desk on my checkout date was super kind and accommodating and did her best to help me.

Lobby is practically non-existent. It doesn’t take much for them to run out of space to hold luggage for if needed on your checkout date.

Location is excellent, just a short walk to rail/metro, Ueno park (park, lake, cherry blossom, museums, zoo) and main shopping area. Also just 20min walk to Akihabra. And yet amazingly quiet, you'd never know you were right in the heart of the city, night time was practically silent. Note that you are very much renting a room - don't expect much in the way of hotel-like services, so rooms are not cleaned during your stay, you'll need to empty bins yourself, there is no restaurant, mini-bar, or anything you might think when you think "hotel". So if you are looking for that kind of stuff, this hotel isn't for you, but it's priced accordingly IMO. Room itself is pretty small for 4 people and it's 2 small-ish double beds so our kids had to share a bed, but it's Tokyo, so to be expected. Facilities within it are very good, including microwave, washing machine, kettle, fridge freezer, mugs/glasses/plates and sink so good for young families though note there's not a lot of space for storage if you have a lot of luggage. A few larger rooms are available, the comments here relate to the standard room we stayed in, so look at those larger rooms if you want more space. Shower facilities are also good. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrived. If you're an introvert like us then this hotel is great as you really are left to your own devices and no-one bothers you at all (for example, no need to worry about when the cleaner is coming or mini-bar folks will turn up, no need to be in a big crowd at breakfast, and so on), but staff were easily reachable and friendly.

Overall the hotel met our needs and the positives vastly outweigh the minor niggles. One thing I'd consider is how long you are staying for. For a short stay the fact that the rooms is not cleaned is not an issue, but with a family of four staying for 12 days, the bedding got pretty grubby esp. when we ended up having a few meals in the room (finding a place to eat-in at the weekends was difficult as Tokyo is crazy busy at those times). That's not a deal breaker but worth noting. There were also some maintenance issues, for example the fridge freezer was not working in our room. Overall though if the do-it-yourself nature of the place works for you, then I'd recommend staying here as the location is excellent, in-room facilities are great and it's wonderfully quiet.

The hotel location is close to Ueno station (subway, JR, and Keisei). The nearest exit from Ueno station to the hotel is exit 3, but use lift b if you bring luggage (lift b between exit 2 and 3). There are several halal foods around Ueno areas. Seven eleven is near the hotel. This hotel is a good choice for families because it can accommodate 5 people in 1 room. The room has an electric stove, refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave, and washing machine. It also provides basic kitchen utensils, dish soap, and detergent.

There is no tea, coffee, or sugar. The pillows are so hard. Check-in time at 4 pm. If you come early you have to wait in a small lobby with no chair inside.
