We enjoyed the Japanese style bath, where you are able to shower outside of the tub. Large bath area; however, the toilet was outside of the bathroom. Just took getting used to. There were three of us; two adults and one child, so it was nice to be able to adjust the sleeping areas as we needed to make it comfortable for us. The hotel is cute and the vibe was friendly. There is a Family Mart and a supermarket about five minutes by foot from the hotel...restaurants nearby are limited, but accessible by a short taxi ride.

The room was tiny but functional. The hotel is not next to the Disney attractions, but requires a five to ten minute shuttle ride and then a monorail ride at the Resort Gateway Building. When we visited, the shuttle ran only in the morning and then later in the evening. There were no signs with the hotel's shuttle hours at the bus stop. Not sure how people arriving to Maihama would get to the hotel as it did not seem like the shuttle had regular hours during the majority of the day hours; but, it may be that we visited during the off season. Please note that we do not speak Japanese, so were not able to easily ask questions.

It was a nice place to stay. Place was clean, staff very accommodating. That didn’t do dinner but provided us with a list of restaurants within walking distance. As we had 7 people, they booked for us our restaurant reservation. On leaving there was too much for shuttle we were going to wait for next shuttle (40 min) but staff drove us to station with our luggage. ( Maybe to get us out of the foyer space)

I wasn’t too fussed on the food for breakfast. But there was always something I was able to enjoy eating. If you’re going to Disney an upgrade on the hotel closer to Disney maybe better. Walking all day on your feet. Standing in queue for shuttle is mayhem if you’re boarding at rush hour.

Hiyori Hotel Maihama is good location ONLY if you plan to go to Disneyland. Otherwise it is quite far from the bus station coming from Tokyo Station. Quite a fair bit to walk and plenty of stairs to cross over the bridge. The room is very small. Bed is against the wall on 1 side. Not many restaurants round the corner especially dinner time. There is a supermarket approx 15-20 Minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers Bus shuttle to Disneyland both ways but make sure you come down early as the shuttle gets full very fast.

Location is quite far from any sort of transportation.

It was spacious, clean, and the shuttlebus to disney was very convenient! We got the bunkbed room, cranked up the AC and it was very comfortable. Plus the childhood excitement of using bunkbeds with friends. We went for the halloween season and the hotel front was decorated accordingly.

It was a little ways away walk from maihama station, but then again, we could have taken the bus for it. We will have to be more vigilant of the time for it, moving forward.

Friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle service to Disney about every hour. I think it was a 20-30 minute drive. No need to reserve.

There is no shuttle service back to the hotel.

It's very clean, has a washer (payable) within the facility. The staff are friendly. There's also 2 free gifts daily we could choose such as face mask, bath bombs, toys. There's also shuttle service to the Maihama bus station.

Love everything about it.

It’s very comfy. The size of the room is not so spacious but was designed and utilized properly. It’s also clean and organized. Most importantly the staffs are warm and friendly.

Not much establishments close by, for example restaurants and convenience stores

Great location to easily access the Disney parks, and good links to get to the centre of Tokyo in a hour. Quiet neighbourhood.

Beds are on the firm side, and the room compact

We loved the breakfast buffet and their rice porridge dinner. Definitely made the trip enjoyable and convenient. We also loved the bedding it fit our family of 4. The shuttle was also very convenient.

I wish we had early check in.

Overall it's a great stay. Rooms are very clean , all staff we encountered were friendly , as always do with hotels in Japan. Breakfast is great . Recommended. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
