Coming from Kansai airport this was the best traditional indulgence of Japan we could have wished for!! Just about an hour away from the airport we got immediately indulged with a traditional Japanese experience. A seaside view room really is a seaside view and Kada is an authentic Fishery town. The staff is so friendly and helpful it's heartwarming. The traditional food is an experience by itself for dinner and especially breakfast.

The room was outdated and a bit worn down. However in a way this does add to the experience.

We were treated so well here by the lovely staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We didn’t realize that dinner options would be limited in the surrounding area, so we hadn’t booked dinner, but luckily we were able to book at the last minute when we checked in (note: the dinner was lovely, and we recommend that anyone who stays here pre-book the dinner!). The facilities were as they look in the photos, but we particularly liked the terrace overlooking the sea. The views were top notch! When it isn’t lunch time, guests are allowed to use the terrace, which is such a bonus! They even allowed us to take our own bottle of bubbles out to the terrace (after they kindly agreed to chill the bottle for us when we arrived earlier in the day to leave our bags). The room was spacious with a magnificent view of the sea, and the onsen baths were clean and well-stocked. Definitely this is a place to return to for the view, the relaxing atmosphere, the nice food, and that terrace. However what stood out the most for us was the wonderful and accommodating staff.

The staff are very warm-hearted and friendly. The shuttle bus can take me from/to kada station, which is very convenient. There are all kinds of things in the bathroom, which is very sweet. The restaurant in the hotel and open-air soup pool has a beautiful view.

The facilities in the bathroom are a little old and crowded. It would be great to have milk for breakfast.

The view in our room! A big window facing the sea! We never get bored of looking outside the window! It is unbeatable! The room is very spacious. Staff is very kind! A special thanks to Kosugi who took good care of us during dinner for our 2 nights stay. We love the outdoor onsen too!

Kada Onsen was my first saty at a Ryokan and it was awesome. The view was phenomenal. The Rooms were clean, really nice and big. The Onsen was super relaxing. Breakfast was super delicious and the staff was very friendly and patient with me as a japanese learner :-D . You can get a shuttle bus to the next train station. All in all I had a beautiful stay. I enjoyed it a lot! Thank you Kada Onsen!!

Quite n peace little place. I like it away from hectic city life. And give the employment opportunity to the local.

Nothing to my dislike. All good despite things a bit old. But is still good condition. And we strike for sustainability.

Went to celebrate my friend's birthday. They arranged the cake which was so delicious and gave her a gift drink. I'm so happy I chose this hotel to celebrate my friend's birthday.

Nice quiet resort directly facing the sea! We get to explore the quieter area near the hotel and driving there is easy. Breakfast and dinner was ok 👌

The tatami bed was too thin n we couldn’t sleep properly. No extra pillows too.

The toilet had some smoke smell even I booked a non-smoking room

we stayed in a deluxe washitsu room with fully-wide ocean view. it was absolutely gorgeous!! the staff were very friendly and relaxed, made us very comfortable there.
