It was perfect for us. Comfortable room, well stocked, friendly and helpful staff, a wide variety at breakfast, rooftop bar with shesha overlooking the Petra valley, and super close to the main gate of Petra. They have free parking as well. It looked nice online, but I was still surprised just how nice it turned out to be for the price point. I’ll recommend this to anyone staying in Wadi Musa.

Not a dislike, but a good tip is to drive from the hotel to Petra gate. That hill is no joke, and the idea of doing after spending the entire day hiking in the park would be rough. Plenty of free parking at Petra visitor center.

Most of the staff were amazing (especially Yazid! ) and the location was great. Terrace was also super cosy. Music and service exceeding expectations. Everything was amazing and very well thought. Highly recommended! It was THE perfect hotel except one detail which I am mentioning below.

There was a staff member, called Muhammed, who, in front of me, tried to get rid of a sick kitten by throwing it in the traffic under a car. He literally waited until a car passed and threw the kitten by then. Fortunately the kitten managed to save itself. The kitten was living around the hotel and pet by the guests. I do understand that, in case the kitten spread the disease, it is not good for the hotel. However what he did is unacceptable.

We had a double room and it was great! Clean, comfortable, hot water, fridge and a safe, and a great view onto Petra over the rooftops. Blackout blinds were a welcome bonus for day 2 after an early start on day 1. The evening buffet for 10JOD each was really nice. The staff were all very welcoming, smiling and super helpful with advice about Petra, etc. We had a car which we drove down the hill to the free car park at Petra, as you will really appreciate it rather than walking back to the hotel up steep hills. We would stay there again if we visited. Oh, and the cute dog helped! Regarding Petra, we took the route from Little Petra, to the Monastery and then into the main part. There is a free shuttle bus from the Visitors Centre to Little Petra from around 07:15/07:30am. At Little Petra, we bought a jeep ride to cover the first 5km for 5JOD each as it's a fairly bland walk (apparently). However, the walk from the jeep drop off point to the Monastery is fabulous, with some stunning views. It took us about 70 minutes and we are plodders and not fit! I'm not over-keen on heights, but most of the time I felt fine.

Great hostel and lots of facilities, but due to their not being many tourists some of their services such as the restaurant was not open as usual (totally understandable so not a negative). Great view from the terrace but bear in mind the hotel is up a very steep hill which is very challenging to climb, but there are taxis that will take you up the hill (and down) for 3 JOD

Didn't enjoy the hill! Also was a shame that there wasn't many people as think it would be quite social, but again that's not the hostels fault at all (people just scared to travel to Jordan at the moment).

I stayed at Nomads Hotel for one night with three friends. We had two twin rooms, including breakfast. It's convenient and easy to reach, as you need 2-3 minutes by car to get to the Petra visitor center. Yet, the roads are too steep. The whole experience was extraordinary! The interior is quite impressive. It has a fusion of heritage and modern touch. The entrance is very welcoming, as is the staff! You feel the great vibe once you enter. The murals on the walls are amazing. You don't need to leave the hotel to get entertained; the reception has foosball tables and a nice seating area with board games and books! The vibe of the rooftop is cozy and unique. It closes at midnight, which is fair enough if you want to wake up early to visit the archeological site before it gets too hot! The rooms at Nomads Hotel are clean and comfortable. The minimalist interior design adds to the serene ambiance. The concrete hollow block beds are unique and incredibly comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful! The breakfast has a good variety! It's super clean, fresh, and tasty. The Shakshouka is a must! I have been to Petra many times, and I used to stay in 5-star hotels. Yet this time, my experience was extraordinary and worth the risk. My new favorite hotel in Petra definitely exceeded my expectations!

The close-up view from our rooms could have been better, as you could see the construction debris. However, the view from the rooftop is amazing! The rooms have poor sound insulation! I could hear the alarms and vibration of my neighbor's phone, but it wasn't a big deal. After a long day in Petra, I slept like a baby.

The staff are among the best I've met on my trip to Jordan. Especially the front desk. They are happy to help with anything and help you plan your time in Petra. The rooftop is amazing ! We witnessed the most beautiful sunsets from here. The pricing on breakfast, lunch box and dinner is extremely budget friendly considering Petra is very expensive in general. The dinner buffet is extremely delicious and wholesome. Special mention to the head cook who was very quick to accommodate that I was vegetarian and prepared a separate rice dish.

The door handle to our dorm was broken and needs fixing. The dorm itself felt a bit small and cramped. The location is near the visitor centre but at an uphill and the taxis are expensive. Good to note for those who can't walk it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful hotel, and I must say, it surpassed all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, all the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Each employee I encountered was helpful and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, conveniently situated to enjoy the city's best attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It's a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore the area. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and comfortable environment to return to after a day of sightseeing. The combination of a charming atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness, and a top-notch team of staff makes this hotel a standout choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning soon. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making my stay so memorable!

Friendly and helpful staff! Staff is amazing and respectful especially “ Hamam” who personally advised me about the Petra map and it saves my time and energy! Thank you !!! He gave me a good tip; I’ll share here ; Oh a tip before I go : use the back entrance ; only 5JD for back entrance from little Petra ( first free shuttle leave from the visitor’s centre at 7.30 am ) and follow the route .. you don’t need to walk the trail twice! Good location, specially sunset over the mountains is something you shouldn’t miss: best rooftop! high steep though when coming back , but near to the Petra entrance. I wish I could stay more days!

I wish they could offer free towels, also my sandwiches were not fresh in the lunch box ( I’m sure they have noted that because other room mates said it was good before )

I like the concept on how every thing you need in a city is clumped up into one location. The dinner (which is a buffet style) is sooo good. I didn't avail the breakfast and they also have like lunchbox where you can take snacks when visiting inside Petra. They also have an amazing view of the rooftop and offers drinks as well. I didn't even attempt to explore the city to find restaurant or cafes. The room that I have was a typical bed sharing hostel but the attached bathroom is a new experience for me as I don't need to share with more people other than my 3 other roommates. The staff are AMAZING! Every single one of them. They helped me to book a bus going to the next city, to save time and money by giving tips and tricks on how to visit Petra efficiently.

I like every thing from this accommodation. Probably, the hike going up and down from hotel to Petra is quite tiring but if you have a car it will be helpful. But for me, it didn't bother me. It's like a pre-workout before walking and exploring Petra so that's great I guess.

Lovely hostel, amazing view on the rooftop, very chilled out vibes. The staff were really helpful and friendly with me. They helped me out with busses, information about Petra, they even helped me sort a day pass out at a gym nearby. There was never any issues with the check in process; when k arrived early I just dropped my bags in storage no issues. I would definitely go back.

Only downfall is that it’s on a steep slope which is tough to climb up with rucksacks. Obviously nothing the hostel can do about that though!
