I really enjoyed my stay, very well located in one of the best beaches around Mombasa, Bamburi beach. The hotel is very basic, you get what you pay for. Only two rooms ( apartments) have sea view all the others are facing the entrance or the way to the pool or a roof ( my case). Breakfast can be better and the staff are great.Rooms are outdated but comfortable.

My view from the balcony, really sad to have such a view ( if you call a roof and garbage around for a view( see photo) at least they could have give me another room with a more decent view. I really think they should clean the area. I understand if the hotel is full, one gets what is available but at least make it decent.

Loved the friendly and enthiastic staff of all areas Reception, restaurant, poolside and security. All very professional and helpful. The fully functioning air conditioning was a tremendous boon in the room it made life comfortable at night and meant I never heard or felt a mosquito. Breakfast was very comprehensive with a choice of eggs to order.

My room although always clean and tidy was a little tired in some parts with broken whicker furniture, a shower held together with plumbers tape and a window that opened directly onto another hotels walkway. So no view. The music around the pool area in the afternoons was often very loud and not a subtle background melody! Maybe they should turn it up in the evenings.

The rooms are very big, with all the facilities you would expect (AC, fridge, wifi, plenty closet space, etc). The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. They always had a smile on their face and were there to assist 24/7. The pool area and view are beautiful. The location is good too. Right on the beach and a large shopping mall within walking distance.

Personally, I really disliked the loud music at the pool area. During those few moments without music, it is a wonderful place to enjoy the view and the sound of the waves and wind. A bit of background music would not hurt, but unfortunately it was mainly rough hiphop and rap playing. I did make a note of this and the staff turned the volume down, but I think the place would be better off without music or just some calm lounge beats on the background.

in front of beach. great pool. good buffet breakfast. big room. Ms Rose even helped me for train ticket to Nairobi. Friendly staffs. We stayed for an hour after checkout at the pool. Shower and changing rooms are nearby the pool. Good place for spending by relaxing around beach.

Shower and basin water was salty.

I loved the quiet and tranquil place it was, everything from the staffs was amazing and accommodating. I definitely would say Sheratton is the place to visit again. The pictures were exactly what the place looks like, i also loved the cleanliness of their rooms and excellent food.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff went extra mile to give us a call to remind us about breakfast

Bathtub some renovation

Very nice and professional staff. We enjoyed the pool area even tho the music can be too loud. Spacious room with AC. Good breakfast, mostly local food but you can find something for yourself unless you're too picky. New bottles of water after every room cleaning.

Salty water in the shower, we figured it's usually the case with beach front resorts. The shower doesn't have any curtains so the bathroom gets wet after showering.

The location right on the beach was great! The room was MUCH better than the photos you have on the website. Carpeting was a real turn off in the pictures but it was actually fine in the room. Everything was clean, staff polite and helpful and guests respectful and nice. The restaurant food was great the first nigh and decently priced first and a little inconsistent on other nights but breakfast was very good every day. Loved that Afro pop was played at the pool and Gulani, the lifeguard was lovely, helpful and had great knowledge what to do and recommended the best person to go to the coral reefs, Captain Juma. All around excellent and beautiful hotel and surroundings. Hope to go back!

Dinner could have been more consistent in its quality and flavour. There was too much salt on the fish a couple of nights but that was all really.

It is very good 3 star hotel and the staff are excellent. Apart from the road works going on near the property which caused some issues otherwise once inside the hotel, it has good vibes. Water in the Shower is slightly salty but clean. The rooms in block A were better located. I wish they would supply Shampoo and hand soap in the basin as we had to buy them. Swimming pool is small but nice. Hotel is facing the sea in the back.

The location is perfect beach front, very safe. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well furnished. The staff extremely professional and courteous. It feels like a home away from home they anticipate your needs.

Breakfast however was abit of a let down for me the food is well prepared just very small quantities and little variety. The main meals are however super! Breakfast is a 5 for me.
