The reason I gave an 8 is purely because of the staff and their efforts. To be honest the hotel is very basic but for the price I paid it was good enough for 1 night only. There was not hot water so staff offered me another room where I could at least take a shower when I had just arrived. Security helped me take my luggage up to my room (of course expecting a tip but still I appreciated the help). After check out I was allowed to leave my luggage at reception for a couple of hours as my flight was only in the evening. The bed was not too bad either.

The room felt claustrophobic and the bars in front of the window weren't really helping. The floor was extremely slippery especially when wet. No sockets next to the bed. No hot water coming out of the shower head on the first night. The area is not great at all, don't bother going for a walk, in the evening especially.

My room was every day clean! [bedroom, toilet - bathroom]. No complain. The TV, some times, didn't worked well. But overall I didn't open it much! Hotel Staff [Reception, kitchen, room service], no complain/s. They did the best, (2) have the best experience while I stayed in Hotel. Breakfast & lunch I took couple times, was great! If I had some problem, I just went in reception (2) solve it! Simple as that.

When I asked if is safe, (2) walk around [or], go (4) a walk in city centre after [7pm - 8pm]. They suggested me, (2) avoid do such thing. Probably some streets around city centre were no safe enough (4) me as nationals from other country - continent. However, I did my best, (2) go out and return after [8pm], yes. They probably were right, is not that easy. However, overall, I stayed satisfied and felt safe [100%] with my whole stay in Kahama hotel & overall with my stay in Nairobi.

Very friendly and accomodating, excellent staff. Room cleanup every day. Very good value for the money. Lot of guards and security, closed gate/territory during night.

Bad wifi. Couldn't solve the issue during a week of complaints. Only stable connection was on the first floor, at the reception, but sometimes also it was spotty. No shower gel, just soap. No terrace or place to catch sun, sit outside. No "supermarket" style grocery stores or cheap "restaurants" within a short walking distance.

The whole house and quite location in the middle of the busy Bangkok center. The stuff was great when we met in person. Map and detailed info about area were provided on arrival. Electric cattle and water provided. Nice garden and seating area. Many food oprions nearby.

No possibility of the airport pickup. No breakfast in house. Difficult communication before arrival, no replies on booking.com chat.

The service. The people who work there are polite and well spoken. We could also leave our luggage after check out to go into town. The midnight airport pick-up was very smooth. The driver waited for us from landing until we cleared customs. My second time in kahama and I'd come back. Big shout out to Catherine at the reception for replying to questions online and in person.

The shower water is very lukewarm. Also, I wish they had darker bedroom curtains to cutoff the outside brightness for better morning sleep.

Our stay in Kahama hotel was fantastic. Service was very good, helpful and friendly staff. Wifi was fast and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Our room was clean and comfy with a very big bed. The room was quiet even though it was near a busy road. We took airport transport from a hotel which was easy for us. We felt safe all the time and the hotel area was well secured. We didn't have any problems. Definitely coming again if I'm visiting Nairobi.

The location of the accommodation is very good, located in the city center, very close to the National Museum and the market, within walking distance. The safety of the accommodation is sufficiently guaranteed. There are security guards guarding the door 24 hours a day, and there is a second layer of security at the door. The sanitary conditions of the room are very good, the room is very clean, the bedding is also very clean, and towels are provided. The reception is also very friendly, providing luggage storage and tour booking services at reasonable prices.

The location of the accommodation is a bit awkward. If you take an Uber, the driver can easily miss your trip and take an extra 5 kilometers of detour, which will incur additional costs. But this is not a problem.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The location is central and easy access to the main sights in the city. It was very clean, the house-keepers were taking care of the rooms and the common arias literally all the time and this was definitely noticeable (they should get a raise ;)).

The first rooms I've been given was facing the street, so it was pretty noise, but later on I changed to a different one, and that was fine. The receptionist was very helpful. :)

I stayed here on and off (as was using Nairobi as a base in Kenya) over a couple of weeks. The hotel is amazing value and has a good and cheap restaurant / bar meaning you don’t have to walk outside at night. It is gated and has a security guard all the time so is very safe. Staff and check in was functional and nice people working in the restaurant too. Location is good and whilst you can walk to the CBD, I just took Uber’s to ensure safety and they are very cheap. Wi-Fi was good as well. All beds had mosquito nets

Nothing really - some of the bathrooms didn’t have curtains over the windows but the road outside is so busy that no one would have a chance to see you. The road is busy but it never bothered me in the rooms I had.
