We got the deluxe room. Not huge, but well laid out and the balcony was great. The rooftop bar was nice, and the courtyard was very pleasant. Easy walking distance to most sites.

Everything was great for us. My sister and her husband got a "basic" room, and it was very small. I don't know the price differential, but the review would have been not nearly as good if we would have had that room. Two people, two suitcases required gymnastics to maneuver around the room.

Location couldn’t be better. Right on the doorstep of everything. Hotel was absolutely stunning inside and out. Didn’t use the rooftop bar or pool but it looked lovely. Beds are very comfortable!! Rooms lovely and cool. Booked a double and it was spacious enough. Reception team always friendly and happy to help. They lock the doors of the hotel overnight which is good but you can still go in and out as you please 24hrs. Didn’t use the restaurant as the city has plenty to offer any time of the day and night. Beautiful little gem of a hotel, would definitely return.

The only thing we were slightly disappointed with was being on floor 1. You are very close to the side walk with people always walking past. Anyone on the bus could see into the room of you had your door open. Slightly noisy but the doors are very good at soundproofing. You also don’t get a balcony to walk out onto, only a stone wall on floor one. Also if you like your tea, bring a travel kettle as they only supply a coffee maker.

The hotel is perfectly located - very close or in walking distance to the main sights and it is just opposite the metro station. There is an airport shuttle bus within 4 minute walk from the hotel, which is super convenient. The facilities are great - hotel has a beautiful back garden and a lovely rooftop sun terrace, which we really enjoyed. Staff were very polite, attentive, friendly and gave us good recommendations on nearby restaurants. We were impressed by the service and we would definitely recommend to stay if you are looking for a smaller and quieter hotel.

Our room was bright and modern, however, we prefer a bit more privacy and a glass bathroom door with a mirror almost opposite wasn’t the best design idea for us. The glass door also looked like it needed replacing due to a crack. Shower curtain was not long enough leaving the floor flooded with water that took a while to dry out.

The hotel is lovely! The rooms are very quiet even though they have a balcony and are on a Main Street. The staff were very accomodating & lovely. The welcome glass of water/juice or champagne was a great touch! There are little pots of sweeties around the hotel for a breath freshener and a sugar fix when needed. The rooftop pool area is great with a lovely breeze and a bar. The back terrace with the green walls is also lovely. The bathroom was a little strange with the handbasin being outside the bathroom but in the end we liked it - it meant that one could be showering or using the toilet while the other could be cleaning teeth etc and the mirror wasn't fogging up. I also liked that they actually left the towels for re-use when you hung them up. I find many hotels change them anyway (which can be a total waste of water). I would definitely stay here again!

We had some food from the bar upstairs and to be frank I found the quantities to be a bit stingy (small). My husband found the bathroom too small but it didn't worry me. PLEASE put more hooks in the bathroom - there is nowhere to hang a shower cap or anything else.

The location and comfort of the hotel are great. So is the service. Breakfast is good if choosing something from the kitchen rather than the buffet, which looked fine but not as good as a specially prepared dish.

The design of the room made it very hard to enter the bathroom, because the door occupied almost the entire space to get in when opened, so the person has to squeeze in. Not for more than a day. This should've come to the attention of the hotel and should be fixed, for instance by replacing the door with a sliding one. Was given twin beds for a solo. While this is subject to availability it would have been better if at least they had put a double topper and double sized bedding to be able to use it as a big bed.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well located, close to restaurants and easy to get to main attractions. The room was a great size and having a jacuzzi was fab! We loved the pool bar or ordering drinks to have on our balcony.

The hotel food menu is very limited. There are plenty of options to eat out close to the hotel but we were there for 5 nights and sometimes just wanted to have a meal at the hotel. Personally we didn't find the mattress very comfortable but we are both quite chunky and I have back problems.

Great location, good room size. I booked a suite with private deck, seating and hot tub. I didn’t use the tub but enjoyed relaxing on the sofa every evening. Buffet breakfast was included in the price of my room. If I return to Barcelona I would stay again here again.

Disappointed that I had to ask for rain soaked mattress and cushions on the deck to be replaced with dry ones. This should have been done before a guest arrives. Eventually sorted but not what I needed following a 12 hour flight. Also needed to call housekeeping to bring slippers to the room.

This is a nice modern hotel in Barcelona. It is a great base to see the main sights of Barcelona. 20minute walk from the old city but all the distances were manageable. 30min walk to La Sagrida Familia, 30 minute walk to the Palau de la Musica Catalana, La Pedrera Casa Mila and Casa Batlo and the Picasso Musuem. There is a beautiful tapas restaurant just around the corner- Casa Alfonso. It is short taxi ride to the main train station unless there is a big festival day when all the roads are blocked off!

H10 Urquinaona Plaza is located in a very convenient place, making it easy to explore Barcelona. The hotel offers great service, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, and they even offered fresh juice. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.

The only thing I would like to mention is that I would prefer an electric kettle instead of a coffee machine, but perhaps this could be considered for some guests in the future.

At first, I was disappointed with the room that they provided me, it wasn’t similar or even look like the room that I booked from booking. But after staying one night, the hotel manager changed our room and fullfilled our expectations. The staff were all very friendly, the location was great. The rooms were always clean and the breakfast was delicious. I look forward to staying in this hotel again for my next trip.

Do not expect a big pool to swim. For us it wasn’t a problem. We don’t like any kind of pools in general.
