Position of the hôtel..near everything..can walk to town.. Quiet room..

Room not to clean.. Carpet not hygienic, dirty, got rubbish under the sofa. Toilet..water leaking..

1.Room was big and clean. 2.View was great. 3.Strategic location. (can walk to nearby hit spot location) 4.TV can work properly. 5.Got bathtub.

1.Check in process a little bit complicated and waiting (queue) for too long to be serve. Even almost everyday I saw a long queue for check in. Even budget hotel can do better in this part. Maybe change wifi system to the easier one. Using email for password was a waste of time ( Just give the daily code is better). 2.Water pressure was low, and if you want cold water, pressure was too low. 3.Bed a little bit stiff for me.

Location near various eateries and tourist attractions. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Ample parking in building.

Pool a little small compared to the size of hotel. Shower low pressure. Empty walls in room, perhaps to keep cost down.

check in process take long que & need 1 hour. 3 counter open but always missing 1 person. never have experience need to wait for 1 hour just for check in…

We had large rooms and we liked it (maybe one of biggest rooms we had ever). Pool area with jacuzzi was also nice, towel service staff was helpful. Rooms has safe box and iron with ironing board, kettle, daily supply of water, coffee and tea. Location we great for us (need to mention Red Garden Food Paradise nearby - it was nice to taste various world kitchen).

This was our "emergency" hotel, as other hotel we booked in advance was terrible. We had good time in "Bayview Melaka" week ago, so we went to "Bayview Penang" with same expectations. Reception said they cannot offer rooms for us, so we need to buy rooms online, and price was higher, than in Booking. We need to wait more than hour in lobby for confirmation, then we gave up, left luggage and went for dinner. I cannot comment overpriced breakfast as we choose rooms only.

Location: walking distance to love lane street, night food stalls at carnarvon street, street art, clan jetties, some mosques and temples. Grab ride to the furnicular service to Penang Hills and airport. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. Despite of some bad reviews regarding check in/out, I didn't have any issues. During check in, I waited for maximum of 15 minutes and check out was very smooth took me 2 minutes (waiting+cleared out--went down around 10am). Book the double deluxe room and it was very spacious. I had comfortable sleep on the bed and the linens are very soft. Bathroom was relatively clean, water pressure was great, hot water was working and very spacious as well. There is no waiting time to use the lift.

Room: Extra desk lamp in the room to work and shower mat. Area: There are very few pedestrian crossings near the hotel. And guests tend to cross through traffic which is very dangerous. I hope they could request this important matter to the city office before an accident happens.

The hotel is very conveniently located and easy walking distance to the city. It is in a quiet area and noise was no issue. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were able to check in earlier. The room was big with ample space to move around. It is an older hotel and can do with some maintenance and refurbishment but it was spotless. The housekeeping staff was happy to provide extra pillows and responded super quick to our request. The staff at the concierge desk were delightful and gave us advice on attractions and places to eat. I stayed at Bayview 13 years ago and very happy that I chose to stay there again this time.

The bedroom was quiet and spacious. The furnishings were tidy and I liked the in-room fridge which was fully functional. The decor although a little dated was soothing and comfortable. On arrival, the security safe was not functioning and it took a bit of time for the staff to rectify it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the gym which was serviceable. The hotel is convenient for several eateries and bars, with ATM services located just behind, and also a couple of convenient petrol stations for the odd convenience store purchase. Overall a comfortable and surprisingly restful stay.

Check in was quite smooth for me because I arrived early, however for some reason the process seems to get progressively slower with more clients. There could be more staff manning the counters, this is also something other reviewers have noticed. some parts of the bathroom showed age, with mild spatterings of mildew in corners of the ceiling and some micro stains on the walls. There was minimal choice of TV channels. I did not have breakfast so am unable to comment

Check in - staff was great, but during check in didn't offer information about parking and breakfast time/location. But upon inquiring, they responded kindly. Parking - separate from the hotel building on a multistorey carpark. Ticket required to exit but can redeem for free during check out at reception. Room- spacious, air cond functioning well, but cleanliness must be improved. We found food traces remain uncleaned when we enter the room. Bed and pillow clean and cozy. The room is old, and TV channels so limited. Not usb accessible. Breakfast - buffet style, taste good, overall multiple choices, spacious area and sitting. But food is cold, they should make an attempt to maintain the warmth of the food. Bathroom - good water pressure, but I personally don't like bath tub, but that's my personal choice. It was neat and clean. Hair dryer provided.
