Location is everything, very near to Jalan Petaling, Railway station. I stayed at the hotel 15 years ago (under a different hotelname) and at the time there was a sanitary problem. So i was a little scared when I arrived and found out it was the same hotel under a different name. However the problem seems to have been handled properly (i stayed in two different rooms) and am very happy the hotel is meeting all requirements a frequent traveller has.

Breakfast was a little expensive and not so much western food offerings

That you could not open the window (for protection) the room was on the 13th floor. But it would have been nice for an exchange of air to be able to open it at least partially

General: -- Lack of dustbins at public area outside rooms along the corridor/lift area -- Crowding in lift - should limit to 5-6pax Room #820: 1) Bathroom -- Need to fumigate as there were baby cockroaches -- Water outlet in shower stall clogged/slow to flow out -- Shower stall glass door cannot slide open/close smoothly -- Lacks hand towels 2) Mini Fridge -- Please clean fridge shelves after each guest has left 3) Carpet -- Please vacuum the sides and corners 4) Bedside Table -- Legs unstable -- Pls fix! 5) Dressing/Writing Table -- Please clean the drawers also 6) Wardrobe -- Sliding doors cannot slide open/close smoothly -- Not enough hangers 7) Remote Control -- Please clean and sanitise this gadget; had dried food stuck on buttons

i like how great the view is,the friendly staff and their guidance is the best. the food and their service too is not bad.

however, my room have anak lipas which make me kill 8 of em. it distract me at first but since I only want to sleep, so i just let it be. hoping that the hotel management can check and clean it through because some people is sensitive towards it.

Closeness to jalan petaling, good rooms Ancasa was preivously known as Impiana hotels. The hotel had some sanitary problems in the past, this issue seems mitigated now.

The space arround the comod is to small , and also thay didnt provide toothpaste and bathroom slippers

The location was great, bus and train station near by, plenty to see near by as well. Night markets, different plazas for shopping near by. And the river walk also close by. Staff where really help and pleasant. Nice having great air-conditioned room and a restaurant within the hotel. The room was really large, and the bed really comfortable.

I think that the bathroom needs to be cleaned more. Attention to re-stocking the soap in the shower so you don't run out would be good. But I will also say that the staff doing the cleaning were very nice and helpful when items were requested.

No provide slipper, small swimming pool

Location is spot on, next to Chinatown. The street food restaurants are just around the corner. Also the market is right there and in the evening more stalls appear. You are also only 700 meters from the old historic town, which makes easy to explore. When we left the hotel for the airport, we left our passports and money in the safe. We called them and when we returned 45mins later they had collected the passports and money and had it ready so we could make it back to the airport in time.

The lighting in the bathroom was very poor, not helping applying make-up and shaving. Western style breakfast was very limited,

Helpful housekeeping staff providing water/coffee/tea top up as I did not want my room to be cleaned during stay 7. Calls to Reception and Housekeeping received quick answer 8. Curtains shut out 99% of sunlight 9. With ironing board 10. Bedroom slippers 11. Toiletries and hand soap/shampoo/bath gel provided 12. Close proximity to food, pharmacy, convenience store etc 13. Ample plug points 14. Sufficient lighting in the room

Requested a certain Room via Booking.com messaging to the hotel staff but no response for 2 days. Upon check-in, the room had been given to another guest who had checked in just a few hours earlier... 1. Room view faced a block of school's classrooms 2. Kettle not working. Replacement also faulty. 3rd one was ok 3. Boring TV cable channels of re-runs 4. Mugs not properly cleaned 5. Mini fridge had stains and encrusted food - not properly cleaned 6. Provided with half toilet roll 7. No hand towels 8. No hot water for a full day due to too many guests attending running even staying here 9. No breakfast option 10. No rubbish bin in corridors or near lifts
