We were very happy with the warm hospitality of the staff members who treated us as if we were a part of their extended family. The grounds, the location, the facilities, the spectacular gardens and property layout were very pleasing indeed. It really gives you the feeling you are staying in a beautiful, authentic Malay village. The beach is clean and great for swimming and walking. We found the whole experience relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

We only had two problems with this hotel. Firstly the beds and pillows are too hard and sleeping was quite uncomfortable at times. Secondly, the Cascade Pool with its swim up bar needs to be kept for adults who want to escape from the noise of children. There is already a children’s pool elsewhere on the property with play equipment provided. We had to make a complaint about a child who screamed for hours in this pool, spoiling the relaxing vibe for the adults who were trying to have some peace and quiet. Also, some parents were putting their babies with nappies into the pool which we found disgusting to say the least. This is such a relaxing space and should be kept that way for those wanting a calm break from the noise elsewhere.

Good location. Handy to airport, places to eat, transport.

Had not been advised major construction was underway for upgrading of a pool area. Another pool was onsite for use but when booking I thought there were two pool areas to choose from. Although we could not hear in our room, the noise could be heard in many areas of resort. I would have liked notification beforehand and given the option to book here or choose another hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas and absolutely loved it. We found a half price deal for this hotel so changed our booking last minute and did not regret it. As soon as you arrive you get 5 star service from the staff who are all very friendly and helpful. A lovely welcome drink and cold towel whilst they deal with your check in. Layout of the hotel is great we liked how it wasn’t all in one building. Golf carts to take you between your room and the main parts of the hotel if you want (although we only used this to go to our room when we first arrived - rest of the time we just walked as lovely views to see around the resort). Rooms were amazing and spacious, comfy beds, good shower. Breakfast selection was great - you have 2 restaurant options to eat in for breakfast. We also ate in both restaurants for lunch/dinner once and the food was very tasty and decent portions. We joined their Christmas Day evening BBQ which was great food and reasonable price. The new cascade pool had just been finished 5 days before we arrived - this was amazing and had a swim up bar and we used this pool the most. Short walk along the beach to some good beach bars and restaurants. 40 mins walk to Pantai Tengah for more restaurants although would not recommend in the heat. Taxi rank right outside the hotel if you need and not too far away from Cable car by taxi. Easy to be picked up for excursions as well. Overall amazing hotel and would recommend.

Absolutely amazing beautiful property, location is easy to walk to the beach strip. Staff is more than helpful and friendly. Cascade pool was lovely with comfy beds and plenty of space and towels. Breakfast was amazing with 2 locations (go for the Asian location, there’s more options!). We had a top room with wide balcony overlooking the lake which I can highly recommend. Comfy bed and pillows!

Unfortunately they had just started renovating the main pool in front of the lobby. This brought about some noise (but you could not here it from the room!). For us it wasn’t a big deal since we liked the other pool. But perhaps if you have kids you might be disappointed a bit. Luckily the second pool is really big and does have options for kids to play. The renovations are supposed to last till October 2024.

I love the ambience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Buggy service was very efficient. I really love the location as it was just a walking distance to chenang. The room was very clean. And the view from the room was so magnificent. We get to watch sunset from our room 🥹. Don't forget to visit the animal farm if you hv free time Definitely will comeback in future

I chose the western buffet we got to sit near the beach but there were a group of crow trying to steal our food 😭. But the staff helps to chase them away 😌. And the buffet selection is limited. Maybe Asian buffet is better we can try next time. The cascade pool was under construction and renovation during my visit, so I didn't get to access it🥲

Great location, walking distance to many things. The staff, very helpful and always smiling. Cascade pool, simply brilliant! Stunning views and great food at Pelangi Grill. Spice Market buffet breakfast, so much choice and so fresh. Thank you for a very memorable time, we'll be back. Terima Kasih.

Sadly, the bed and pillows are not so comfortable for longer stays. Desperately in need of tv upgrades, heard it was happening, so perhaps next we visit, the issues will be sorted.

Rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom. 24-hour buggy is also convenient with guests even though we never used it. Twin beds were big too. Staff were very friendly, and the chef at the egg station at breakfast remembered our egg order. Cascade pool is very nice and a place to go if you don't have younger kids. Had a variety of food options though some options can be on the pricier side of things even though still reasonable

The gym needs to be bigger as once a few people are in there it can get a bit tight to be able to work out properly. Sometimes took a while for food to be replenished at breakfast especially when busy

The most perfect stay and value for money. Every single member of staff was kind and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help you out. So far as to remembering what you told them in a previous conversation and following up the following day. The rooms are beautifully laid out and spacious with a bigger than average bathroom that is well equipped with all the necessary amenities. I am very particular with smells, and this place did not have any. There was a large balcony with seating perfect for admiring the views and occasional thunderstorms as they roll in and out. The grounds were immaculately presented. As far as I could see on any menu, there is no pork served in any of the menus. Breakfast was delicious with variety in number and cuisines, including an amazing pho station. As well as continental breakfasts, there was always a selection of malaysian/indian/Chinese cuisines to pick from, each of which was delicious. If you are someone with a sensitive stomach and do not fancy street food, the food served in the restaurants in the hotel, while pricier than what you'd find outside, was delicious and well presented. Cenang mall is a 5 min cab drive away, which has fast food restaurants, and the strip itself has plenty of food options. If you're looking for a laundry place for non expensive items like t shirts, pajamas underwear etc, there is a launderette a 5 mins walk from the resort called Sufia Laundry, great value for money and the ladies do an excellent job. In terms of activities, the tour desk offer you great options. They may be slightly pricier than using a vendor outside the hotel, they are helpful in planning your itinerary. I do suggest however booking jet skiing or parasailing outside the hotel. Walk down the beach from the resort and you'll have many cheaper options within minutes of the hotel, no need to for pickups or drop offs. After all this is also where the hotel-booked activities take place.

I really cannot think of a thing, this place was excellent. If i was being extremely picky, the AC did not make the room as cold.as I'd like, and the bathroom had weak ventilation so after a shower, it would become very humid

Beatiful beach with soft sand, lovely to walk/run along and we also did some free yoga classes on the beach too. Amazing beds and pillows, slept really well every night. We stayed in Chalet 8 which was walking distance to pool, breakfast and beach. The resort is beautifully maintained and the staff were very friendly. Bubbles at breakfast at CBA was a great touch! Buffet breakfast at the Spice Cafe was delicious, lots of variety and choice and well organised. The location is fantastic, Cenang beach is stunning and you can continue to walk along the beach out of the resort and find some nice beach bars, lunch spots and restaurants all along the public beach areas. Tip for solo/group female travellers: we had some problems with taxi drivers trying to rip us off. Walk out of the resort, turn right and walk for about 10 mins. You will find a small stall with a sign that says 'taxi stand'. There we met Mr Abu and Mr Fendi who were very polite, knowledgeable, punctual and gave us reasonable prices. The took us to all the places we wanted to visit on the island and we felt we were in very safe hands the whole time.

There were no mosquito nets and we did get bitten quite a lot one night. It would be nice if there was some sort of drinks package as the cocktails were extortionate. Rules also seemed to be different for different guests, my friend wasn't allowed to smoke/vape at the CBA bar even though it was outside, but later we saw other guests smoking and nobody said anything to them.
