Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Spacious shower and private bathroom. Good breakfast available with cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, sweets and cooked breakfast too. Very nice breakfast room with plenty of interesting antique items on display in what used to be a barn. Loved the pool area which was a nice refreshment from the very hot weather. Would surely consider staying again. Accommodation is close to Qala centre too.

This bad & breakfast has a beautiful terrace and a great pool to chill in on a hot summer day. Even though it’s away from the sea one can walk to 2 beaches (1 hour) if in shape, otherwise a rent-a-car is a must.

The stairs to the rooms that lead to the first floor are very narrow, not practical for older people. The host could be nicer and more ready to help.

Lovely atmosphere. Quiet secluded garden area with pool. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice and made to order eggs. Martin was very friendly and helpful.

Small points but I found the mattress a bit too firm for my taste. Towels were a bit hard and (like most Europe) no face cloths. Also the room closest to the door has the most noise. If you can book the upstairs double with the terrace the view is fantastic.

The venue and especially the pool are amazing and we enjoyed the breakfast very much as well. A few restaurants are within walking dist ance. Easy to reach by bus from the Mgarr harbour.

You can hear the cars passing by the road next to the b&b, there isn't any traffic but you are aware of the surrounding noises since the place is quite central. Btw there is no hot tub even if it says so in the property description

Very friendly owner. It look like an isolated area, but is really near of the center of the town (400 m). Easy to park the car.

Shared fridge (in the first day there wasn't any problem. In the last day, after the check out and the beginning of a new car trip, we saw that 2 of our bottles weren't there). This situation is not related with the owner, but with the other guests.

A plus of this property is that it is located in a tranquil, picturesque part of Gozo. Other advantages to this property is that it provides guests with an excellent breakfast, and has a pretty pool with a sun bathing area.

Sadly, the booked Superior Double Room's windows were small and had quite dirty fixed fly screens. Unfortunately, the bedroom didn't have carpeting or mats around the bed, so one gets off the bed directly onto a cold tiled floor. Lastly, it would have been nice to also have hand towels.

We love Qala and this b&b perfectly placed, clean, lovely pool and gardens, host Martin was so friendly and his breakfasts cooked freshly every morning were delicious, a lovely touch was water provided every day .

The swimming pool is exceptional, with some depth, the ambience and attention to detail was brilliant. Recollections of Gerald Durrell if this was Corfu and right beside the water. Absolute Oasis in wild area. The owner is a brilliant chef and the breakfasts were super.

Difficult to find criticism

Martin is a superfriendly, nice host, we felt very comfortable and loved our terrace. Lovely furnished, plants and flowers, cozy, beautiful. If you‘re looking for a silent place, it‘s the right choice. Breakfast was very good, we highly recommend Il-Wieleg! Everything in gozo is very close, about 15 minutes away by car you can find beautiful places.

The breakfast was very good and plenty to eat. Martin is a very kind and helpful host. The place is very quiet, situated in a small village yet you are a 10/15 minutes drive to anywhere. There are not many amenities in the village itself. If some peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is the place.
