We have loved our stay at The Vincent. Breakfast was great and the lady that worked at breakfast was so nice and welcoming. We were 5 people, so we have stayed in two totally different rooms, one of them was amazing, spacious, modern with great commodities. It was in the more modern side of the hotel, near the elevator, so it was amazing.

Our other room was on the oldest part of the building and we were not very happy with some of the things the room needed to be improved. The bathroom door does not close, it has a blockage so it is impossible for you to close it, and also the separation is made of glass, so not fitted at all for 3 persons that had to share a room with no privacy in the bathroom. The shower does not have a door at all so all the water comes out and you have to put towels on the floor not to flood the bathroom. Also there was no elevator on that side of the building and we had to carry the luggage 3 storages up in a round well staircase very small.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Vincent Boutique Suites and would highly recommend staying here. Valletta is tiny, so although you’re not directly in the thick of it, you are only a fifteen minute walk from the Main Gate and bus station. Personally I adored the quieter and more residential location. Just around the corner there is a convenience store (but if you’re heading back from town buy your water and munchies in Spar as it’s a lot cheaper) as well as several bars and cafés. The hotel is converted from an impressive old palazzo, so yes, parts of the building are a little worn and crumbly, but this just adds to its charm and in no way impacts on the quality of your stay. I stayed in the Mediterranea Suite - which was absolutely gorgeous, super comfortable, and incredibly spacious. I loved the colours and the theme of the room. The suite also contains a kitchenette, with a fridge and an espresso machine. The bathroom has a dual shower (which was superb) and gorgeous smelling toiletries are provided. I also loved that my room had a traditional Maltese balcony looking out on to the street. Breakfast was excellent. Although there wasn’t masses on offer, there was more than enough to fuel the hungriest of guests. All the staff I met were lovely and very friendly. Reception isn’t always manned, but they provide you with contact details upon arrival for in case of emergencies. You can also access the building via a keypad if you should lose your access card. They also provide a luggage storage facility. I will be recommending The Vincent Boutique Suites to all my friends and family.

Spacious room full of historic charm, including a very large bathroom and shower that worked well. Excellent breakfast with rotating selections of pastries, cakes, cold cuts, cheese and bread. Kind and hospitable staff that made us feel very welcome. Contactless check-in went smoothly and efficiently. Conveniently located lift to help with carrying luggage. Speedy Wifi.

Property is situated at the bottom of an incline - requires a bit of exercise to walk up Republic Street to most of Valletta's main sights and restaurants. Bathroom is separated by a glass divider so privacy may be limited if traveling with multiple people (this can be partially covered by a curtain).

The location in Valletta was perfect. The ancient hotel building had been loving restored and brilliantly converted into the very quaint and cool Boutique Hotel that it is. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite and went out of their way to make our stay as lovely as it was. Thank you to all the staff, we will definitely be back to stay at The Vincent next time we come for a beautiful holiday in Malta. Grazzi!

Its extremely minor, the shower tray sealant in the room we stayed in just needs removal and replacing with new.

We had the loft room and it was great and very spacious. It was very charming and the stylistic choices were great. Cleaning was done everyday and the breakfast was sufficient. Quick WiFi and air con available. We also got few leaflets and discounts for various Maltese attractions. There was no issue with late self check in.

With the amount of space in the loft room it would be great if they added a washing machine. Also please note this room would not be suitable for customers with certain disabilities as it has stairs and no lift.

Wonderful character, comfortable, very helpful and pleasant staff, good breakfast.

General maintenance could be better. Getting scalded every few seconds in the shower wasn't much fun. Broken/missing bedside lights is poor. The shower door didn't fit, but a simply adjustment would make it perfect. A constantly running tap is poor, as is black mould in the corner of the shower. The vent pipe on the balcony should be extended above roof level to avoid bad smells.

We loved staying in old historic Valletta and being able to walk around and explore the city. The Vincent is quite near to Fort Elmo. I would recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport. We did use the buses a few times, but the bus station is about a 15-20 minute walk on uneven cobbled streets, which wouldn’t be easy with luggage, Many restaurants are in close walking distance. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Valletta if your mobility is impaired because walking anywhere at all involves walking up and down small hills. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, giving us a map and pointing out things to see and do. The front desk is not manned all the time, but we were given a phone number to call if needed. Our room was nice and had a large private balcony. The bathroom was quite spacious by European standards, but did have a leaking tap (coming from a state where we watch our water use we were surprised so much water was wasted) The breakfasts were ample for us. Fruit, cereals, selections of sweet pastries, cakes, cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, bread and toast, tea & coffee. the staff in the dining room were very friendly. I must say the quality of the breakfast was not as good on Sunday, but that was just one day out of seven.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Great location, the room was spacious and lovely, although slight signs of wear can be spotted. The bed was comfortable. The ladies at breakfast were very nice and kind and tried to vary the breakfast each day.

The sink in the bathroom had no hot water (or if it did, you have to wait for it for a very long time). The hot water in the shower also took forever to come, and varied from scorching to warm in milliseconds, without me turning the handle.

This was an excellent hotel. A little bit away form therein restaurant areas of Valetta, which made our stay very quiet, but, you must be able to walk or hire a car to get to the attractions. No need to rent a car in Valletta, download the Bolt ap, it will get you everywhere you need. Also walking, if able, will get you everywhere you need to be in toehold town. Hotel staff were very friendly, breakfast was perfect. Bed was comfy.

Bathroom could have been cleaner.

great location, gorgeous rooms, excellent breakfast and awesome staff.

the soundproofing between us and the room above was very poor. whether you're singing in the shower, getting intimate with your spouse, or going #2, be prepared for others to hear you and for you to hear them. for us it wasn't a problem, in fact we had quite a few giggles when we heard others and we realized others heard us, but i can see how for others it might be, especially during the night, so maybe bring some ear plugs.
