My wife and I liked the conviviality of the hotel and especially, the manager, Patrick, a fine gentlemen who was focused and committed to making us enjoy every bit of our holiday in Mauritius. Patrick offered interesting suggestions about where to visit, the best times to do that and how to go about that. We walked to the beach,, supermarket (JUMBO), inside the Pasedena Mall as well as the restaurants close by. We didn't need to spend any extra quid taxing and getting the things we needed. My wife believes Lariad was one of the best choices we made this year. They even had a fully equipped kitchen in case we needed to cook, but we didn't need that. The breakfast can keep you for a whole day. Above all, Lariad BnB is also good for kids on the trip.

I would have preferred better pillows. The two in our room were more or less flat and not enough.

I particularly liked that when we were leaving on a late evening flight we were able to leave our luggage at Lariad during the day whilst we toured around, and then have a shower and change there before catching our flight, at no extra cost.

We enjoyed great hospitality and the Host Patrick was exceptional always helpful and standing by where ever he could provide help and assistance with excursions by arranging with Gaetan and arranging a wonderful driver Emmanuel and not forgetting the support Staff Cindy that was always helpful in providing a delightful breakfast every morning Thank u once again keep up the great service Carel & Paulette

All good nothing to report

Good location close to the beach, resturants, bars and a supermarket. The atmosphere at the hotel was really friendly. There was common areas such as a balcony, shared kitchens and the garden/pool area that all guests was welcome to use. The breakfast was good and the woman serving the breakfast very kind. Patrick was really welcoming and helpfull and gladly answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for our upcoming stay in Port Louis. We where very pleased with our stay at Lariad BnB

Room fairly basic but very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom adequate for our needs. A comfortable communal balcony to sit. Common kitchen for other meal needs - lunch and or dinner - we prepared basic, snack-type meals. Breakfast was continental style and met our needs. All staff very friendly in all interactions.

We don't feel there was anything we didn't like.

I spent 17 nights at Lariad and can honestly say I loved it. Patrick and all the staff accommodated my stay with a high level of excellence. Room, kept tidy by the team & Breakfast always nice. Air conditioning was the best, nothing better after a long day enjoying the weather to come back to a cool room. Personal belongings, I felt confident in leaving my things in my room. Patrick gave me hints and tips on activities and places to see in Mauritius and arranged a driver for me when I needed one. Either day or night it was such a big help and cause of having access to drivers I managed to see a lot of the natural beauty Mauritius has.

the room was very comfortable set in a simple and graceful structure! the owner was very thoughtful and kind and will not fail to give you advice and make sure everything goes well! delicious breakfast! at night we were lulled by the singing of the frogs, something extraordinary! furthermore the hotel is located a few steps from the beach and all the restaurants! excellent value for money!

Very welcoming staff. Patrick has given us a lot of advice on where to go and what to do. The room was large and comfortable. Each floor is equipped with a large terrace and a small kitchen which are very useful to have a bite, a coffee or simply to relax.

My mother stayed here 2 years ago and she recommended for me , patrick hotel manager is so kind, he let me use shower after my check-out because I went to beach and my flight was in the evenning, breakfast is good,fruits,croissants, jam, juice, fresh omelette etc. area is nice close to beach,shops,restaurants. Room was quite big and most importantly very clean, I would stay here again and again.

The small B&B has everything you need. Don't expect luxury. The water in the shower was lukewarm and ran slowly, the rooms were large and clean. Everything a bit older but perfectly fine. The breakfast was plentiful and good. The eggs could be ordered in different ways. The pool was cleaned daily. The staff is diligent and friendly, we would love to come back. Many thanks for the beautiful days.

The kitchen staff recommended the MamaHelene restaurant to us. It turned out to be her home. For aperitif samousa, salad, poultry, fish stew, side dishes, ice cream, 1 bottle of cheap wine and water we paid 5500 Maurtanian Rubeen for 3 people. We travel a lot, we have never experienced anything like this.
