We had the pleasure of staying at Green Discovery B&B this weekend, and we can confidently say it was one of the most wonderful experiences we had. The B&B itself is in a beautiful location, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rooms are cozy, clean providing the perfect setting for relaxation. I especially loved the beautiful views from our window, which added an extra touch of peacefulness. The breakfast was the best with Fresh, delicious, and made with local food. The hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. Their hospitality truly made the stay memorable, and we felt like a valued guest throughout our time there. If you're looking for a peaceful, charming getaway with outstanding service, Green Discovery B&B is the place to be.

I liked Breakfast which was simple but Fresh, tasty and adequate. Breakfast included Fruit, Tea/Coffee/Bread, Omlette, Yogurt, Biscuits, Jam/Butter/Cheese. The hosts Prakash, his wife and Family are very hospitable and considerate, They go out of their way to help the guests and meet their demands and make guests comfortable. We stayed on second floor which had awesome views of the falls, ocean, mountains, and the lush greeen fields. We had the entire 2nd floor to ourseleves which has two big rooms, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area and a patio from where you get beautiful views as I mentioned above. There is stove, microwave, utensils, toaster, kettle, washing machine, etc. provided on the 2nd floor. The property is at 2 minutes walking distance to the bus stand where its easy to find buses to other main bus stations within Mauritius. The host Praksah himself is a tourist guide so it make it easier to arrange any tours with him, the extra benefit of this is that the guests don't have to worry about any transport hassles as most of the tours Prakash can take you from the property to the destination sightseeing and bring back to the property with him so its less hassle and easy travel.

They seem to provide cleaning services only upon asking which in my view should be a regular service atleast for the guests who stay for more than few days. Location can be little out for the tourists who want to stay in the hustle-bustle of the city with which comes lot of restaurants, shops, etc. Wi-Fi Coverage sometimes is erratic but I suppose that is the nature of any wi-fi technology. Getting on second floor can be tedious for the guests with heavy luggage as stairs are somewhat narrow and only way to go up.

We liked it very much. The hosts are very welcoming, we enjoyed the great view from the balcony and the quiet surrounding. We had a good hike to the Tamarin falls directly in the first morning, which we agreed on when we arrived. Very nice! We could choose our room and took the larger one. The bathroom was across the kitchen which is to be shared with the guests in the other room (only for one night it was occupied and we had an interesting chat at the joint dinner, which we booked from our hosts). It was a very nice experience, a great bed&breakfast location, we will be happy to return some time. Thank you!

The location is amazing - it is right on the track to Tamarind Falls, and from here it is also very close to move around and visit other places in the south. The accommodation is really nice, very spatious (huge living room and terrace!) and comfy - not to mention the view from the terrace which is simply breathtaking! The hosts are the loveliest people we've met! We had a dinner with them one evening in the house and had a great meal and conversation. They have also been our tour guides to Tamarind Falls! Make sure to book with them for your tour guide to Tamarind Falls.

My rating is relative to the price - we booked 2 rooms and got a whole apartment - with a terrasse on the second floor and the rooftop terrasse - with a fantastic view over the canyon and the waterfalls. Even though the hosts was busy - they were so kind and helpfull. A misunderstanding about the time for our guided tour, was immediately fixt by the host. We have also booked dinner at the place - and got a lovely traditional dinner, so we could try it. For the dinner, water and guided tour for 4 persons we payed 7600 mur to the host. I believe it is much cheaper than if we booked a tour online. The host can also help with guided tours to Le Morne. (You can find a drone footage of the area and the falls at youtube, that we made)

The hosts are wonderful! Adequate rooms. The host is a tour guide who makes the stay excellent! You can meet other travelers and it is a wonderful experience.

Must improve the flow of water in the shower, and make sure that the water is hot (and not lukewarm) during most of the day. It is very fun to spend time and have dinner together with the hosts in their home. At the same time, it is important to make sure that breakfast is rich in varied food. And it is necessary to improve the cost of the offered dinner, which is comparatively very expensive in relation to the area.. However, it is highly recommended to visit the place. Mainly for trekking and hiking in the area! and to use the excellent services of the host as a tour guide.

The homestay is located so close to Tamarind Falls, that you have a view over the falls right from the balcony, if the weather is clear, you can even see the ocean in the distance. The house is far from any shops or restaurants, so arrive prepared, but Prakash and family are very welcoming hosts, and I was even invited for dinner in their own living room. I only booked a room, but practically got the whole second floor myself, with a living room and kitchen besides the bedroom and the balcony with a hammock overlooking the falls. It was perfect for me for a one night stop, I only regret that I did not do the Tamarind falls hike in the morning.

Nice and comfortable homestay with Prakash and family. Nice double bedroom and hallway. Close to Tamarind falls and all the beautiful scenic spots of south west region. Prakash offers airport transfers as well. Will visit again.

Not a big issue, but the shower can be improved and fan in bedroom can be upgraded. No supermsrket or shops in walking distance so if you arent driving, just bring lots of food, groceries and water and you are sorted.

Lovely people and a wonderful place. A very clean and tidy place, nicely decorated, a big and comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a homely atmosphere. Prakash and the family treated me just like a part of the family and took care of everything I needed and much more, with patience and a willingness to help even with special requests beyond the usual. Prakash is a true professional, recommended me and made sure to help me do things that fit exactly the nature of my trip so that the whole day is full of quality experiences, amazing views and at the end of the day back to the cozy and inviting house. Just a wonderful place. Both the peace and comfort of home and an active and fascinating trip. The location is pastoral in nature and accessible by public transportation and really close to the entrance of the Seven Waterfalls. Prakash also took care of me for an excellent guided tour of the 7 waterfalls and transportation to wherever I needed.

Prakash and his family were very welcoming during our stay. Their home is located in the heart of Mauritius, which makes it a good starting place for different trips and activities. It also has a very nice terrace with a beautiful view of the Tamarind waterfalls. The kitchen and living room are shared with another room, but it didn't bother us, this way we got to meet other travellers as well. We liked the fact that there was a washing machine that we could use. You can also have authentic mauritian food for dinner upon request. Besides having dinner, every night we ended up chatting with the hosts for a couple of hours learning a lot about their country and culture. If you are a hiking enthusiast, I recommend booking tours with Prakash, for us they were among the highlights of our holiday.

The water pressure could be better.
