Wow. Where to begin? We had the most relaxing 5 night stay at C-Mauritius. I have never before felt so well rested after a vacation as I did following this trip. The resort itself was the perfect size, not too big or too small with direct access to the beach. We loved how everything was just so well thought of, we literally didn’t want for anything during our whole stay. The rooms were spacious, housekeeping very thorough, bed was super comfy and it was always a nice touch to come back to the bar fridge that was restocked daily. The food was consistently delicious and varied with each meal, the cocktails were made really well and premium alcohol was included in the package. Not to mention the best full body massage I have ever received and the incredible hospitality of each and every staff member, without exception. I can’t recommend this resort enough if you are looking for a calm and relaxing, beachside stay. We could lie on the beach eating and sipping cocktails forever. A word to the wise though, if you are looking for a resort with many activities and night time entertainment/access to the nightlife, perhaps consider somewhere else as you may be disappointed. The lack thereof wasn’t a problem for us though, as quiet and relaxing was exactly what we were looking for and got.

The only really unpleasant aspect of our stay was the very windy conditions on the east coast of the island at the time of our trip, which laying by the beach a bit unpleasant at times. It would get extremely windy and cold as the day progressed. This is obviously no fault of the resort or hotel itself but worth considering if you are traveling around September.

We spent woderful 10 days at the resort (including our wedding anniversary) and loved it very much. Some of the many highlights summarized: super friendly, helpful and child-friendly staff, resort app (you were able to arrange everything via whatsapp), beautiful beach with many (water) sports opportunities included in the all inclusive package (only exception kitesurfing), tasty food (especially the Asian restaurant but the main buffet one and the bistro are also nice and in the bars you get nice driks or good coffee), spatious rooms, beautiful pools, spa, gym…

The only two things to consider when booking (not really downsides but to be aware of): - if you want to see more of Mauritius, you will need to travel quite long (up to 2 hrs one way) to the best spots. We did not plan to do too many trips (only on two days) so it was not an issue. -it is not a hotel with a kids club. This means there are no kids facilities (except for a play room) and it is also not bareer free (with tne stroller a bit annoying). Yet, we were aware of it when booking and our daughter was not bored there at all (she only missed a real playground) and the hotel made sure we had everything we needed (cot, trash bin for nappies, kids menu in the restaurants, arranged babysitting)

I chose this hotel based on good reviews and need to say every single day spent there worth it. The room was spacious and cosy, and I liked that everything in the hotel (rooms, reception, restaurants, bars, beach) was well concerned and located just next to each other. The food was of very good quality and all deserts were delicious. Would like to mention specifically very high level of service and how amazing and super friendly all the staff is, always smiling and attentive to details. Special thanks to Anasthasia from the reception. For overall experience surely one of the best hotels I ever stayed.

Necessity to sign ‘0’ bill every time you get something in restaurants/bars even though the resort is all inclusive.

This hotel is the best - super friendly staff, awesome location, delicious food, great facilities, very nice and relaxing spa/yoga area. We were there in February for my birthday and it was very special, so I would like to thank everyone for making my day and our stay so special. But our great thanks go to Deepak, who was there for us during lunch and dinner, he’s just the best, very attentive, always ready to give some awesome ideas for exploring Mauritius and always ready to answer our questions. Deepak has made our stay and my birthday even more special - he has prepared an incredible table for us and a great surprise! thank you very much Deepak!! Next special thanks goes to Wadie and Balu for their awesome work and charming way of taking care of the us :) Krisma from the reception desk is amazing - always smiling, very helpful and making you feel at home! Then on my birthday we had an unforgettable morning, planned together with Sailesh - he has helped my boyfriend to organise a breakfast on a secluded beach, which we’ve reached with the Sirius boat. Sailesh took care of everything - great organisation for a joyful time and again everything was done in a marvellous way! thank you Sailesh! And then last but not least - big thanks to Pascal - our boat captain - for all he’s done for us - the music, the breathtaking views he took us to, the funny stories and the spectacular boat experience we had! Have stayed in many hotels / resorts worldwide, but this by far has been the best experience ever. From the time we reached the property, the hospitality was exceptional. A warm welcome by Anasthasia at the reception who made us feel at home right away and great hospitality by everyone at the property, especially Adrian, Binesh and Vivek. Excellent Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner options. A very good variety of premium beverages which you generally won't come across in an all inclusive package elsewhere. Super comfortable room and bed. The Beach is lovely with lots of Watersport activities (a total paradise for kite surfing). Not a single dull moment here and this property always makes sure that you are never hungry or thirsty at anytime. It was the people working at this property that made our stay a truly memorable one.

Nothing at all.

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. It is located on the best beach on the island. The beach is good for swimming as the water is deep on that side. A nice breeze is also very pleasant. The room was big and has everything you need: bathrobes, slippers, mini bar with sweet and salty snacks, drinks etc. All inclusive package is fantastic, big variety of food and great drinks. The staff is very polite and kind. It’s more than value for money.

Even all inclusive package after every meal or just drink you have to sign, it takes time and have to wait.

Overall this is an exceptional resort that we really loved and enjoyed : - the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable; - the room we had was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, cool A/C and great shower; - the all inclusive package was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of what I would call "posh" food that varied each day, and they made amazing mocktails for us; - it has its own beachfront that you can enjoy and they offer some equipment for water activities; - the spa facilities were also very good.

Some things that we didn't like, but these are based on our personal circumstances and not an issue with the resort: - It was too windy on this side of the island and it also rained most days, which meant we could not enjoy the beach as much as we liked. We went in May for 1 week but it may be better in their summer months; - The swimming pools and Jacuzzi were not heated; - The price is a bit high for the all inclusive package as we do not drink alcohol, maybe they should do a lower price for all inclusive without the alcohol.

Staff really go out of their way to accommodate. A 10 minute boat trip up to belle mare afforded us some really great snorkeling. Saw blue tipped coral and cute box fish. Food was great, ambiance was great too.

More ramps would help. There are stairs and it was challenging with a pram

C Mauritius is an amazing place to spend your vacations! Very comfortable and clean, the staff is super friendly and the food is quite good! From what we manage to see it clearly has one of the best beaches around! It can be windy sometimes, but it’s the kite surf coast after all so that is to be expected. The gym is very well equipped. Special thanks to Emilie for the warm welcome and Deepak at dinner service!

There aren’t that many chairs by the pools so if you prefer the pool over the beach (gladly we do not) I hope you like to wake up early as well because guests start reserving chairs by 7am. It’s against hotel policy but there’s no one around to enforce it.

Super attentive staff, nice hotel, everything even cocktails and premium spirits are inclusive. The Ala carte restaurant is stunning.

The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner is very average. I felt like I was at a canteen rather than a 5star resort. Speaking of the 5stars that booking.com claims this hotel has: it’s actually 4 stars. You can only book the a la carte restaurant (which is awesome) once during your stay. The staff was nice though and let me book it twice. The location: it’s in the middle of nowhere. Other than more hotels, there’s nothing around so you will need a car. Even then there aren’t seem to be any nice bars or restaurants anywhere within a 30min drive of it so if you do go here you are going to spend a lot of time at this hotel. Also it being on the east side of the island means that I had rather stormy wind conditions for 4 out of my 6 nights stay.
