The best hotel on the island! The breakfast is the most amazing spread! The beaches are great with excellent service. The rooms are very spacious and always kept so neat and clean. It is like a piece of heaven! Our sixth time we have been and we will never go to any other resort.

The only thing that I would say that needs improvement is the restaurant at the point at night. The food was not the best and the service was not up to scratch. I would not dine there again. I would rather go to the other restaurants on the resort.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and polite and there whenever you needed them. The grounds and the pools are beautiful and well maintained and there are many activities to choose from, which can be easily booked via your personal host using WhatsApp (with generally good wifi connection throughout the resort). The nightly entertainment was great with the live band and the pianist in the speakeasy and we appreciated the cocktail reception event that was held. The breakfast buffet had so much variety it was hard to decide what to eat. Overall, a great stay and we will hopefully make it back for the hotel’s 50th anniversary! Very nice room with comfortable beds, friendly staff (Mashood at Tapasake), great service at the beach, appreciated early check in & late check out, Tennis courts, big and well equipt gym. Variety of different restaurants

-Overpriced offers for day trips, -our honeymoon was never mentioned/ no congratulations at all, -complicated deposit process with blocking a deposit on the credit card but still had to pay on top of the blocked deposit - there is alway a view percent service charge added, even for a local taxi driver when organized by staff -algae at the beach due to global warming, collected by staff on a tractor -buffet at dinner is very expensive for a buffet -south western side of the island is less windy therefore better for a beach holiday

The place was very nice and staff were always welcoming, service is great. Lots of events going around in the hotel like jazz night, different cuisines a few times a week. The beach is clean and beautiful, every angle of the hotel is different which is nice.

Nothing, taxi is a bit expensive. Tax return at the hotel before leaving at the airport.

- Concierge/host service by WhatsApp unreliable as it can take too long to get a reply - Too few restaurant options in the hotel and nearby - Lack of support in exploring Mauritius as the hotel tries to keep you in there - Too expensive drinks (eg. EUR 7.5 for a local beer) and spa services (eg. EUR 150 for 1 hour massage) - Good food quality and variety available on the buffet (EUR80/adult) but it is an expensive option for kids above 5 years old (EUR40). There is no flexibility in order a la carte for kids that dont eat much.

THE BEST THI9NG ABOUT THIS PROPERTY IS THE STAFF. THEY ARE AMAZING, THEY NEW OUR NAMES, OUR FOOD AND DRINK PREFERENCES. AND YOU DIDN'T ALWAYS HAVE TO ASK. BEVERAGES APPEARED BEFORE YOU LIKE MAGIC. COFFEE THAT HAD COOLD A LITTLE TOO MUCH WERE REPLACED WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK.

WE WERE DISAPOINTED THAT THE MAIN DINNING AREAS OFFERED A HOT AND CLD BUFFET. GOOD FOR BREAKFAST BUT NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED FOR DINNER. THERE WAS A GEAT DEAL OF CHOICE REGARDLESS OF MEAL TIME BUT FOR DINNER WE EXPECTED A MENU AND TABLE SERVICE. WE DID TRY A COUPLE OD THE OTHER DINNING OPTIONS BUT ONE WAS ONLY OPEN TWO EVENINGS A WEEK AND THE "PRIME" WAS EXPENSIVE AND HAD A LIMITED MENU. MY HUSBANDS WAGOO STREAK WAS OVER £100 AND WAS TOUGH!!!

Amazing place, amazing team, amazing management team, facilities are great, the food is completely crazy (Tapasake is a really good japanese fusion food). Always some special attentions to the guest, you feel like home.

They should heat the swimming pool when it s come to Winter - the water is too cold.

Our 10 days stay at One & Only was amazing. Our family (2 adults, one 14 months old baby) felt like we arrived in paradise, from the moment we entered the lobby, where the nature is very well integrated (like in the whole hotel). We rarely write reviews even though we travel a lot in 5 star hotels. But this time we decided to do so as our experience was special: The One & Only Mauritius was in January at a booking rate of 65% so we were fortunate to receive a room upgrade. We enjoyed a spacious 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms junior suite with view to the beautiful beach and sea. Including your own cabana. Our room was 133. The two best experiences at One & Only are the exceptional service level of staff as well as the impressive food quality at the restaurants!

Plastic straws should be replaced, we mentioned that towards the manager and he was very open for our feedback The sea is not as transparent at One & Only compared to the beaches as eg Lux and JW Marriott in the western part of Maiuritius. However this is definitely more than made up the amazing service and food quality which beats all other hotels at Mauritius.

didn’t get any minute of late check-in free of charge. they hold a quite big deposit from my card, and then my spendings were charged on top. so now waiting for the deposit to be void, which takes more than month sometime. actually they could have charged my spendings from the deposit directly…

Incredible relaunch of beauty spa. beach extensions and recent updated details are polished and perfect. Service and guest relations are next level. Beach service and attendance was incredible. All round best of the best . Thank you One and Only , I highly recommend this brilliant hotel.
