One of the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Most likely the best beach in the country. when you are there all the other beaches in the country will look average. Really calm and peaceful hotel it’s the best for a relaxing stay. Great location and facilities with complimentary water sport equipment available. Supportive staff with great room and set up. highly recommend it!

Only downside is the restaurant. They have different restaurant in the same location. My advise is to stay clear from the semi pension as the restaurant ti morris and it’s selection of the day are really not to the level of the hotel I probably ate there my worst dish in many years. In my opinion the breakfast is also not to the hotel’s level and standing you would expect. it’s ok at best. The Japanese restaurant is good but it’s not the type of food you are looking for in Mauritius. Don’t get me wrong amazing hotel but the food is not to its level :).

Dinner was a disappointment for us, small selection of food in half pension (all-inclusive also not includes everything). Serving is beautiful, but salt is not really used and indian spicies were bit too much for us.

The hotel staff is incredibly nice and really do go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable! Everyone is super professional and friendly. The internet connection is great and you can for sure also work from here. The pool is gorgeous and the beach is just a few steps from the rooms. The views are great! The food is delicious but it is simply not enough and with absolutely no variety.

The portions for dinner are super small. You have a 3-course menu every night - a starter, a main course and a dessert and the portions are tiny. However, it is a gourmet food and it is certainly very delicious. I have been in many gourmet restaurants and usually with plates that offer small portions, they do 5-course menu. Maybe it is a good idea to have a salad bar as a buffet in addition. For breakfast they have a buffet and eggs that you order. I certainly expected more variety of fruits. Also, there is absolutely no variety of food. If you are here for 2-3 days, that is fine, but for 10, I tried everything 3 times. In the end of our stay they’ve added more local cuisine dishes, which was good. The towels are visibly overused. Overall the hotel is not really a 5-star one.

I would very much like to share my review of the Seasence Boutique Hotel & Spa! My husband and I stayed for 10 days and I can hardly find a word to express all the positive emotions we had during our staying! Firstly, the PEOPLE who are working in this wonderful place. They are extremely kind, very open and very helpful. Separately, I would like to note the wonderful manager Deepak, an excellent organizer and a very good, attentive and kind person! He is on guard for the interests of all guests :) I want to thank Laurent, Geraldine, Cherry and Henry: your cocktails are the best! :) Honestly, I have never met such a kind and attentive attitude, although my husband and I are very experienced travelers. Secondly, this is the hotel's own beach: incredibly beautiful, cozy with excellent service. All the guys are very attentive, they always ask if everything is fine with you, if everything is in order. Food, drinks, atmosphere! Breakfasts are amazing! Thirdly, I would like to note the wonderful people serving breakfast and dinner: Jerome, Silvanya und Stephan: You are very Attentive and nice people! Food, drinks - everything is great! Fourthly, I really liked the Spa, I tried various types of massages, drainage massage is one of the best massages I have ever tried. All masters are very polite and attentive women! Special thanks to manager Joyce for incredible service and attention! This is the best place for people who value not only external aesthetics, but also kindness, attentiveness and warmth of relationship. 10 of 10 We will come back for sure:)

View and beach was nice. Also the staff was exceptional, being very friendly and always checking whether everything is fine. The rooms were clean with a nice ocean view and a large bathroom. As mentioned in other reviews, they are a bit older, but for us it was absolutely fine. The food was ok in the standard restaurant (included in the halfboard). I had the best chocolate cake if my life here!!

There were only a few options included for dinner in the halfboard. We only stayed for 3 night, so it was ok for us. But for people who stay longer it might be an issue not having that much variety included. Also, be aware of the winds during winter period.

Staff very friendly and attentive. The fact that it was adult only and quiet. The spa was good.

Gym was a little tired and there was no water cooler / water provided in the public areas which is quite standard these days. Not the best food we had in Mauritius but good. Be aware there is nothing outside the resort ( no store to wander too ) so would need a car to explore. Beach is small and not the best beach but 3 min walk takes you to the lovely beach wide bay and beach of the C Hotel practically next door. This hotel also is a great lunch option.. The buffet there is excellent and they take outside guest if your book and pay at reception.

We absolutely loved our stay at Seasense. Since visiting we have been to two other 5* hotels on the island and none have compared.The hotel is tranquil, with a stylish beach aesthetic and calming atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you are overcome by a sense of calm and it is the perfect place if you need some time to relax. The food was of a very good standard - thoughtful and higher quality than many other hotels we have visited. The hotel also served a lovely seven course dinner on Christmas eve included in the price. Each of the dishes were interesting, high quality and you could tell the hotel had put a-lot of thought into the meal and experience…definitely not your average all inclusive event. However, what really stood out was the service. All of the staff went out of their way to make our experience memorable by being friendly, extremely accommodating and having exceptional attention to detail. On the first night my partner broke his flipflop and one of the waiters, Jerome, bought in a new pair the next day. Jerome continued to offer stand out service throughout. Anteesh was extremely helpful in giving us guidance on activities and became a friend during our visit. While Thierry (the beach bar barman that you can’t miss), was always very welcoming and on hand to make us chuckle. Across the board, the waitstaff were great… Stephan, Sylvia, Vishesh to name a few. They were always friendly and always on hand to help…our glasses were never left empty and no ask was too big. The managers were also always on hand, checking in and making sure that our stay was perfect. And the boathouse team was also very friendly and helpful. The east of the island is a little quieter than the other parts but it is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel was definitely a draw as it was one of the few places on the island that looked like it had a more personal and boutique feel and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return if we come back to the island.

Amazing views, tasteful design, nice common areas, comfortable bed, and extremely professional, kind, and welcoming staff. We had an issue with our booking (information on reservation didn't match the room we got), which was swiftly acknowledged and resolved by changing our room. Also offered kayak, snorkels, and some other options. The beach in front of the hotel is not the best for swimming, but the hotel staff is doing its best to keep it free of seaweed. Also you can walk 5 minutes in either direction and get nice access to the sea as well.

It is difficult to explain but we didn't like the food of the restaurant. It seems good for all intentions and purposes, but we found it heavy and too elaborate for no good reason. Also, if you went half board, you couldn't just order something simple, e.g. burger. You had to go for a three course elaborate menu every night. The simpler options were available for room service, but you had to pay. They weren't covered by half board. Breakfast quality was not good (apart from crepes and a couple of other things). They could go for less variety and better quality. For instance, fewer types of bread but fresher, fewer types of cheese but better quality etc. Any additional food events, such as BBQ, were very expensive.

Private beach just in front of the hotel, which is very comfortable. Nice dinners, but breakfast was a bit poor. Room cleaning was everyday, everything was very clean and fresh. There was very friendly personnel at the beach bar.

Hotel is absolutely isolated from everything. You cannot go outside for a walk, no shops around. I felt personnel was sometimes annoyed, but not everybody - there were few people who were very nice and friendly. It was our honeymoon, but hotel didn’t care about that. Neither we could get an early check-in.

Our beautiful journey at Seasense Boutique Hotel began with a very warm welcome with a fresh mango juice after a long flight. Remarkable were the kind and helpful staff. We were always treated equally. Especially the food at the restaurant and the bar were very nice. With a wide range of food items every person can find always something suitable. Otherwise a preorder is always possible. The managements effort to keep the guests happy was very appreciated. Special mention to Shivam who did our room. Every time we get back after dinner he left some art work created with towels on our bed. Another special mention goes to Krish who is a staff from the restaurant and bar. He treated us like family and was always around for questions. Thank you for your hospitality and keep up your good work!
