The staff was phenomenal. I speak minimal Spanish, at best, and they were very welcoming. I chose the hotel because of its location or proximity to malls and restaurants, walkability, and primarily because it accepts pets. I have two dogs and walked them regularly - outside of the hotel. The room was cleaned daily. I had tile floors which meant I could also clean the floors if there was an issue. Although I had a carrier for each, the staff provided me with two dog beds. I used their laundry services, and again, was very impressed with the results. Not to be misleading, it is a little older, and one of the elevators was not working when we arrived. While not a 5-star hotel, in terms of exceeding my expectations, ....this is a 5-star hotel.

The restaurant food was passable, but the hotel is surrounded by other options. The hotel lobby could be updated, but as I mentioned, the exceptional service provided compensated for some of their drawbacks.

Beds were very comfortable. Good mini split AC. Nice pool and grounds well kept. Staff friendly. Nice parking area and secure. We had two different rooms over 3 nights - the first was old and unrenovated and cheaper - the second was a recent renovation and quite nice, bigger bed, better TV, etc.... Prices reasonable, particularly for that area. A GREAT steak house right across the street was a DEFINITE bonus. Good hot water with pressure in the showers. Comfortable bar by the pool.

Breakfast restaurant was simple food was OK - nothing special. Wasn't impressed with the 300 peso cash security deposit required. Elevators can use some tuning.

It is within walking distance to the Minerva and Arcos Vallarta. The facilities are clean. The staff is helpful. The pool is warm. The hotel is located in a safe area. Excellent air conditioner.

The towels were clean, but outdated. There was no hair drier.

Breakfast and location are great. Staff were very helpful, esp calling me afterwards to let me know they had mistakenly (Booking?) charged for 2 nights and are now giving me a credit for my next stay.

Wish there were heat available!

It s like coming Home to your family. Las Pérgolas is the best and friendliest hotel you can find in the neighbourhood. Highlight recommended for short and long term stays!

Location and peaceful atmosphere. Good maintenance of the build and heated pool. Good internet.

Some noise at nigth coming from generator or something like that

Very good hotel in Guadalajara. A good swimming pool. Clean room and good location and a good restaurant in the hotel. They kept my stuff in the fridge.

AC broke but was fixed by the end of the day. Lights bulbs went out as well. The wait to get checked in was long and slow.

Great location, pool, Wifi, well equipped bathroom. Nice restaurants, stores and malls nearby. Safe area. Private parking. Helpful staff.

Some rooms did not have cozy lighting. For example some rooms just had a one light in the ceiling and another on the doorway. So extra bedlight would have been nice
