We liked everything

The bathroom hasn’t all the toiletries. Need Conditioner all the family. We went to a Wedding a big group for different parts of the world. We went from Australia and we can’t bring everything. So, please give to your customers all the implements to be happy..

Nice beach and pools, nightly entertainment until 11pm.

Specialized dinner restaurants have limited seating and guest need to get there very early to be put on the waiting list. No availability if you arrive after 6pm. There is however a buffet that is always available.

More than enough good food. Even though the property was large it was also small enough for our 10 year old to find his way around. Plus it felt safe enough for us to allow him to do so. The all-inclusive was great.

The beds could be a little more comfortable.

The overall experience was good. However, we had an issue with the reservation we made through Booking.com, where we specifically requested a room for two adults and two children, aged 6 and 10. When we arrived at the hotel with the discounted price, we were informed that the children’s ages had not been registered in the booking, either due to an error from Booking.com or the hotel. As a result, we were charged an additional $1,200 because the children were not included in the original price. This made the experience less enjoyable, as we had not planned for that extra expense. Regarding the hotel, the facilities are good, though somewhat outdated. The food is quite average, as are the drinks and the service. I would recommend it if you can get a 50% discount and make sure that the children’s ages are correctly included in your reservation. I’m not sure if the mistake was on Booking.com’s side or the hotel’s, but it was an unfortunate situation.

What I didn’t like was the service from the front desk staff. They were quite cold, inconsistent, and seemed more focused on the hotel’s profits rather than the guests’ experience. Our check-in was in August, and we had high expectations for the hotel. Arriving all the way from Norway and not being able to resolve the issue at any point was disappointing, complicated, and overall a very negative experience. The reception and treatment at the front desk of Hotel Río Vallarta were truly poor.

The buffet doesn’t open till 12:30!! We have kids they need to start eating at 11. The kids club doesn’t open till 10! So basically from 7 am to 10 nothing to do no pool till 9am. It would be good to have some kids program in the morning.
