Hard working staff who does an exceptional job at maintaining the facility in top notch condition. Hot water & strong water pressure is a huge plus in Puerto. Pool is always clean & a nice touch to have. Love the early noise curfew, AC & fans in rooms, & how there aren’t too many beds in dorms.

I stay here whenever I am in Puerto, but for the first time the dorms were mixed, whereas in the past, it was not as far as I experienced. I was stuck in a room with all men who snored & smelled - for 4 days & did not have proper sleep during those days (even with earplugs).

Spacious place, nice pool, good location. Very nice staff both the receptionists and the volunteers making evening programme. Thanks to Moises, Sandra & Jimmy I enjoyed my week at Losodeli! Enjoyable place and good food in the restaurant.

The thing I did not enjoy about the dorm is that one dorm has 2 beds downstairs with enough space to your things and I stayed upstairs and had no good access to shelf, socket and my things down. And toilet is maybe 10-50m far from dorm (depending which dorm you stay at) and once it was raining, you could not get there dry.

- The hostel has a chill and laid back vibe. Plenty of free activities to participate in and there is a cafe on site to have breakfast or grab a bite. - Staff are very nice. - The hostel is very clean, my room was cleaned daily and the pool was always clear.

- The hostel doesn’t offer laundry services. There are a few laundry shops nearby but having the service on site would be more convenient. - This is outside the hostel’s control, but it’s worth keeping in mind that the beaches closest to the hostel are quite small so they tend to get very crowded and loud on the weekend. The location is a 15-20 car ride to Zicatela, the longest stretch of beach, and because there is no Uber you kind of have to negotiate with taxi drivers every day.

I stayed in one of the apartments: it was big and had all the kitchen essentiels needed to cook your own meals which was nice (there was also a big jug of water in the room so you do not have to buy bottled water). The best part was the garden with pool which was perfect ot relax during the day. Staff was helpful: they kept my suitcase after check in and called a taxi to get to the airport (which is only 10 minutes away). Highly recommend

The beaches, eventhough they are not far, are a bit hard to get has you to go as you have to go downhill quite a bit

Everything was perfect. The perfect balance of a quiet place to work or rest during the day, plus the chance of meeting people from all over the world and having a few drinks at evening/night in a beautiful property with an amazing pool, with great group activities (optional of course) organized by the kindest accomodation staff (Diana and Maria). Casa Losodeli also has a perfect location, being situated only 7 min by foot from Carrizalillo beach, probably my favourite beach in the world. It's 10 min by car from the airport (no need to rush or stress if you're flying) and 10 min away from Zicatela, the night zone full of amazing bars and nightclubs for all kinds of styles. I couldn't recommend it more and I'm definitely staying here again when I come back to Puerto Escondido.

This was a perfect spot for working remotely. The WiFi was strong and reliable. I loved the community environment and common spaces to bring people together. The volunteers and staff were so friendly and helpful. The dorm rooms weren’t bad, I like how they were only 4 beds total. Enough space for everyone to spread out their stuff.

Everything was great. Perhaps add one more toilet or shower in the women’s bathroom to accommodate guests and visitors.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff is amazing, kind, and helpful, the pool is just perfect. The rooms are great. There is a kitchen if you want to cook yourself a meal but there is also a café right there if you feel lazy. The location is great, many local and cheap restaurants close by, 15 min walking to Carizalillo or Manzanillo beach, and really easy access with public transport to Zicatela and La Punta. The hostal offers different activities, it's a great place to meet new people and make friends in a chilled atmosphere. I was supposed to just stay a couple of nights but extended my stay because I felt at home in Casa Losodeli.

Casa Losodeli is really a magical place! But first, the usuals: the rooms are super clean and tidy. Some rooms are faced to a very busy street, which might be a problem, if you have troubles with noise. Other rooms are facing the internal court (with a lovely, clean pool, a bar, a kitchen you can use, and a lot of tables around) and they are pretty silent in the night. Wifi is solid in most of the rooms I've been. There is also a fine restaurant where Danilo and the team are doing a great job and serving some delicious eggs and smoothies! Now here comes the magical part: once you enter Losodeli, pretty quickly you become a part of a wonderful community. Zlati & Paulina were working as Losodeli hosts when I was there, and they organized different events (karaoke, language exchange, salsa classes) every night. So people spent so much time together, that they naturally start organizing other stuff (lunches, dinners, going to the beach) among themselves. It's wonderful. Some rooms facing the main street are loud, unfortunately. If you have sleeping/noise issues, make sure you get a room in the internal courtyard.

Fantastic location if you're looking for a less party centric time in PE away from the main strip, although the hotel does have some great social activities daily for those interested. Pool was great and peaceful. Room was spacious and clean and always great to have air conditioning! Location was perfect for the proximity to some GREAT restaurants a short walk away and to the amazing Carrizalillo beach!

Reception staff were kind & helpful when prompted, but not overly welcoming during our stay. Main road can be a little but noisy so would just request a room by the pool instead next time.

Definitely more of a hostel-like environment, lots of people around and coming and going every day. Working by the pool was great, and the attached cafe was wonderful for getting coffee and snacks. Convenient to lots of local restaurants.

Beds were not super comfortable. The Wi-Fi cut out a lot while I was there, apparently it was due to a recent hurricane. Quiet time starts at 11pm, but it can be pretty loud at night during all the evening activities. Also there’s some sort of venue nearby that was loud at all hours of the day.
