This is a beautiful property near the center of Merida, about a 10 minute walk to the main square. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking to and from the hotel at night. The pool is refreshing after a hot day exploring and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

While the cleaning service was timely and my bed was made each time I went out, my towels and water glasses were never replaced in the four days I stayed at the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic staff! Everything was sparkling clean. And oh the beds….. my first soft memory foam bed in all of Mexico. I finally woke up feeling refreshed and without back and neck pain! The breakfast was always delicious. The staff was super helpful. There was a decent amount of safe street parking. A couple of great restaurants within a block or two. And about a 10-15 min walk to the central district. And a cheap Uber ride to the monumento a la patrio and that who beautiful street. 100% would stay here again - I actually extended my stay a day because I didn’t want to leave.

Nothing really - as some people have said it’s about a 15 mins walk to the central district - and it’s not the prettiest- but I never felt unsafe and it’s a quick walk. And there so much to see!

We loved the tasteful decor, a fusion of beautiful antiques, mexican elements and art. We loved the excelent varied breakfarst, which was served on a long table, where we got to know and talk to other guests. In our room, we loved the shower, which had a big glass wall into a litlle closed leafy space. All this, and the friendly staff (gold star for the manager Alberto), the accesibility for questions, suggestions, recommendation and advice made our stay at the beautiful Merida very cosy and intimate.

The weather in Merida during our stay... It was hot, rain storms, and floods. But enjoyed all the same.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It was nice having a dresser as well as an armoire. Bathroom amenities included body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. Staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt & granola, coffee, juice, and various egg dishes that were prepared fresh to order. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. Location was walking distance to restaurants and places of interest. We would definitely stay here on our next visit to Merida!

We really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good plus a touch of elegance with beautiful china. Bronze sculpture greets you when you enter with keyless enter door. The pool was easy to enter however there is no hand rail and the surface near the pool was burning hot. Staff were quite helpful too!

Over all you have a GREAT place... But you might vary the cake in the morning. Have cotton sheets for the beds. Change the flooring to where you enter the pool even if it is a few spaces so your feet don't burn. But a great thing would be to add a small hand rail when entering the pool. Older guests look for this type of feature.

Lovely property, a hacienda. Being a boutique hotel, there are only few rooms so feels like home. Loved the high ceiling rooms, the decor in all the rooms, the paddle pool, the breakfasts, the crockery, the location and the service. Lots of great restaurants around with the central tourist attractions within walking distance.

The breakfast starts only at around 8.30 am. As a tourist, especially in the summer, one would like to start early for the archaeological sites. Would like them to consider providing dry packed breakfast for such guests, if requested.

We loved the central location. It was walking distance to the main square and many other sights. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was right next to the pool and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and we enjoyed the opportunity to visit with other guests. It is a small hotel which is nice. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone planning to visit beautiful Merida.

Nothing worth noting.

We lowed the hotel and the staff was more than great. The breakfast was very good and it felt like being home. Everyone sitting togeather. Really cozy and clean hotel. Great thanks for all. If we visit Merida again. We are very likely to stay there again.

The location is a little outside all, but still not so far from the down town. So not really something to complain about 🙂 And remember, Merida have been choicen one of five safest cities in the world. And you really feel safe there.

Nice and clean! I loved the pool. I was very clean and refreshing. This hotel is perfect for a calm and relaxed crowd. Everybody is super respectful and easygoing.

The maid service is not standard for weekends and weekdays. For example, on weekends they would refill the bottle of water in your room, but they won’t do it during weekdays. The front door did not work properly a couple of times and I was locked out. Thankfully, it happened during daytime and the staff was able to let me in.

The staff was nice, helpful, available as documented. The breakfast offered was simple and limited in choice, but delicious each time. The room service was great. The common area was gorgeous, and the rest of the hotel beautiful in its elegant simplicity, while well lit at night too.

The location is a few blocks from the city centre, but the direct surroundings were not really pretty. The swimming pool was tiny.
