Great location, a quick walk 2 blocks, and there's a grocery store. Short drive to everything else downtown. Very helpful staff in giving directions and recommendations, even called a game park for us to make sure our car could make it through the terrain. Private gated parking off the road. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, a large TV and air conditioning, mini fridge with cups, and a plug-in kettle. There is a cabinet with a safe to keep your belongings protected. They also have a pool! They have a full service restaurant inside the hotel, very generous, delicious portions of freshly made to order food for lunch and dinner. They have breakfast ready every morning with a fresh fruit salad, freshly baked bread and rolls, and a whole assortment of other goodies. Greatly enjoyed our 2 night stay and was a great way to kick off our first time in Namibia. Will definitely stay again, maybe even at the end of our current trip

Absolutely nothing, had everything we needed and wanted. Super clean. Felt very safe

Excellent location, walking distance to almost everywhere, from Joe's Beer house to artscraft centre and Goodfellas restaurant, National museum, etc. The staff was so friendly, helping out a lot and giving us advises. The lodge is clean, with simple but decent breakfast. Rooms had good size, and they were able to fulfill our special request. The staff was very friendly to help us deal with all considering we hade a 1 year old girl.

It is not an issue with the property or that, it is just a wish since it was cold, we wish that the sitting area outside the rooms had an umbrella or shade to protect us from the fog and cold, since we couldn't stay inside to avoid making noise to the our babygirl. We also think that the breakfast could have more option.

We came as Guests and left as Friends! We needed to receive and print documents and with one phone call, Charmaine (at Front Desk) went above and beyond to have everything ready and delivered. Breakfast was fresh every morning and great care taken to our comfort while enjoying afternoon drinks in the shade of the beautiful big trees. Thank you for making the start of our Family Vacation so special. Definitely on my 'accommodation list' for the next visit.

My stay at Hotel Uhland was just perfect. I particularly appreciated the kind, competent and extremely helpful staff. The location is great, near the city centre, with greenery, a fresh breez, and a nice terrasse for breakfast or other meals. My room had everything I needed. And the food prepared at Hotel Uhland was also nice and fresh. I will definitely choose Hotel Uhland again for future stays in Windhoek.

The manager was exceptionally helpful at trouble shooting a problem with our transfer. Her honesty and integrity are our key takeaway from the property. We had only just arrived for the first time in Namibia and her actions will not be forgotten. Walking distance to Joe’s beerhouse for a taste of local cuisine. A supermarket was close too.

The roon was very spacious, the beds super comfortable, shower is good as well. We worked remotely and the wifi connection was good all around the property! Lovely dog was hanging out at the place and breakfast was good.

First off, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Whatever I wanted, they could arrange for me. I was traveling with my cat and they went out of their way to accommodate me. They made sure my furry friend was comfortable when they came to clean the room, and always asked about her well being. The food was great as well. I might be a little biased towards a western cuisine as I just came back from Asia after 2 years, but I still reckon many places will have to work really really hard to beat the quality I encountered at Uhland hotel. 10 out of 10 from me. Loved it there.

There is nothing about this wonderful place that I did not like . The TV's might be a bit old, but I actually liked the fact I can't fast forward or rewind! Such a nostalgic experience

We had a great room with a balcony - thanks for the upgrade! Could watch the sunset over the city. Rooms were large and comfortable. Clean. Staff was amazing.

Breakfast service was a little slow, but it got better after a few days. A little too far from the center of town, and have to walk through a somewhat sketchy part of town - giant holes in the sidewalk on way to Independence so watch your step! (Not the hotels fault)

We were upgraded to a balcony room. Very nice place to sit and watch the sunset. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Pool area was comfortable. Quiet hotel.

Its a great hotel, but its a little farther from the center of town than we prefer to be. Walking from that area of town is a little sketchy. Otherwise it was a quiet area and it was gated so we felt safe enough at the hotel.

I am from the USA, Oakland, California. Staff was friendly and attentive. People were also kind and responsive to conversation without being intrusive.

Nothing comes to mind. Let's see, the food was good! There was a menu of variaty. The pizza was exceptional!! The location for businesses or for tourist was on point. Can not think of anything else.
