The hotel is an oasis, located a little distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and adequately equipped. The gym is good with additional yoga and fitness classes. Had an excellent Balinese massage with Uttam. The grounds are well maintained. The stars of this hotel are the staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable and attend to our needs. Special mentions to Sashika, Upendra, Aryaman, Yubak at the Garden terrace - you made the evenings even more enjoyable. Excellent variety at breakfast with a daily Nepali cuisine menu - thanks to Bhupendra, Abu and Rajendra for looking after us and the lovely send off on the last day. Special mention for Bibek at the juice counter and his power packed fruit and vegetable smoothies.

Worn carpets on the Heritage floor which could also do with a general refurbishment.

Excellent! Friendly staff. Clean and shiny outlook. Huge space. Mixer of modern and traditional architecture. Very pleased with the sauna and gym facilities. Special thanks to Anil and Krishna for extending my stay eventho the hotel was fully booked. I enjoyed the patio restaurant. Very specific mention of the Rodi Bar and the young enthusiastic Ayush Bhatt for the great service. I was eating outside thinking my type of food wasn't there, but he made extra effort and showed me that they had Fish and chips!(not fan of Chinese or sweet dishes) What else? See you again soon.

The roads outside the hotel can be looked after, they are a huge shame for a hote of this status. Nepal Govt should really take care of the surrounding areas because this place have some of the most important hotels there. Nothing to do with the Hotel actually. Its minor issue.

We had five unforgettable days in this beautiful hotel. We didn't miss anything, we were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We would particularly like to highlight the extensive breakfast buffet. Another highlight was the Patio Bar, where we enjoyed the food and the good local beer. We would especially like to thank Sajja, she spoiled us with her perfect service and we learned a lot about Nepal through her.

Staff service was excellent. Polite & helpful, friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and the food ordered for room service came very well presented, kept in warmers and was delicious.

As I arrived, I was given a room that did not comply with the one I selected on Booking.com which was a let down. I had to move twice until the room selected was provided, but without the view promised. Corridor carpets are worn out and gives an impression of a really old hotel.

They have very good chinese resturant and coddee shop to choose variety of vegetarian options. They staff is excellent and was genuinely worried about the guests.

They gave us rooms in the old building and charged dpuble for executive room. The room was horrid. Pls ask for new wings rooms only.

A Very relaxed holiday, away from the hustle and bustle. Felt very welcome from pick up at airport, the security, to the rest of all staff. Always with a smile and friendly staff in all departments. Exceptional service in the F&B outlets. The B'fast buffet had a good selection. Lovely garden all around to take a stroll. The bed linen and all fixtures in room in excellent condition. Will definitely visit again and recommend friends. Exceeded my expectations. Thanks to all.

Everything was outstanding. Nothing to complain about.

The room was very cosy and well done. I loved the wooden blinds and the general decor. The property is large and airy, green, with excellent view of the mountain ranges. The staff are courteous, polite friendly and well trained. The -in-house Chinese restaurant serves amazing dishes !

The location is terrible. If you are self driving, the Google maps takes you to the wrong gates multiple times- there are several gates to the property- just one that leads to the hotel.

Where do I start... I suppose from the moment we drove onto the private road to the The Soaltee Kathmandu hotel, the security guards, the welcome drinks, the smile on everyone's face at reception, the reception from Mr Ishwor Kandel, Operation Manager, kindness and assistance received from Mr Agnimitra Sharma, Executive Chef, additional service from Mr Vinay Singh, Chef De Cuisine, to the staff over at the Wellness Centre, and everyone else between, we immediately knew that we were somewhere very special. The service received was exceptional and my wife and I could not have asked for more. The hotel's' setting is bliss, with a wonderful garden area, peaceful and serene. Fantastic gym. Great dining and service. For friendliness, service and care, one of the best hotels that I have stayed in - I could not have asked for more. Thank you to all at The Soaltee Kathmandu. From pickup to drop at airport everything was top class, ever smiling staff is exceptional their property, front office, F&B, housekeeping, security, room service and spa is fantastic, usually I don’t mention name because this is a team effort which makes our stay memorable, but Srijan was our one stop solution to all our needs, this doesn’t mean that others were not helpful. Earlier booked some other hotel but my wife did some research and asked me to book Soaltee and she was right. They gave us very good and reasonable transport and arranged puja at Pashupati Nath Temple. We will definitely visit again.

The check in process and check out process was very smooth. The breakfast was at ground floor level and food was fresh and tasty. We were provided everything what ever we asked. The staff was very polite and humble. Mr. Hari Bhatta - Restaurant Manager always attended us with a smile on his face. He wasvery calm and polite. Mr. Vinay Singh Chef always provided us whatever we asked during the breakfast. The space was huge and provided with adequate staff to serve the people. I was very much impressed with Ms. Sabina Maharjan- Front Office Manager who was always available to help and guide us. She was very impressive, beautiful,polite, humble and solved our problems within few seconds. Ms Praiva, Sharmila and Pranisha at the reception were very courteous. The house keeping staff was very quick in delivering the items to our room.Our room was facing the front lawn. Wifi in the room as well as in the hotel premises was very fast. The luch and dinner served at the hotel was very good with mouth watering dishes. Swimming pool was very clean. Spa was very good with well trained staff.
