Fantastic location and a fun experience to stay on a boat in the heart of the city. Very easy to get to from the ferry, and the main areas are very nicely done. We had a room on the waterline which was fun, very basic, just two bunks and a (very small!) bathroom but it was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful.

Bottom bunk is a little cramped in that it is too low to sit up under, bathroom is very small (was ok for us but if you were a bigger person it might be tricky). I would have appreciated a kettle for tea/coffee in the room. Room size is small (boat cabin!) which again was ok for us as we travel list but if you had a lot of luggage it might be tricky.

We liked the fact that the hotel is on an island away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Also the fact there's a free public service ferry running until 2.30am to get you across from Central Station. There are also 2 lovely Bars/Restaurants on the island which are very easy accessible from the botel. We arrived at 10am and they had a luggage room where they held our luggage until we were able to check in.

Even though the reception was open 24 hours the bar still closed at midnight. It would be nice to have it open a little later. This is the only minor thing not to like.

a small room with tiny toilet/sink/shower room. a comfortable bed for 2 right next to a window with the.river immediately outside, and a nearby view of the ferry terminal. getting there from main city (centraal station) requires a short, free ferry ride, which remained fun for the 3 nights we stayed. clean room where everything worked (tho the water was very hot and tedious to adjust in the shower).

the hotel was being rennovated, so the hallway was work in progress and a bit hard to navigate. the common space of the hotel was under reconstruction, so breakfast (paid separately) and bar were in a nearby sailing vessel. All this actually little bother, and should be completed soon.

everybody complained about renovation and noise last comments on booking. we almost not choose this hotel. are you crazy? i mean what they are expect from a hotel in Amsterdam! first of all we didnt be disturbed not noise. its so easy to go to hotel and also so fun. its direct ferry from center to hotel just 8-10minutes. We stayed with baby 1.5year. the room was in minus 1. room was clean and has towels sheets glass shampoo soap. we had sea view. in the morning when we opened the curten we saw seagull, swan. we gave bread to them from window. its so nice. I was a bit nerves about stairs but our baby was so happy to go up from stairs to bed. she played a lot and we had some free time for ourself. she get bored before normal hotel rooms. Also the room was hot, you can arrange temperatur of the room. shower also has hot water. the other thing is the comment says shower is small. come on, its cosept hotel and a SHIP. dont stay in a ship then. staff was also kind and helpfull. they changed towels and shits everyday. and they cleaned the room everyday. we stayed so cheap, compare to other hotels in Amsterdam. we didnt have any problem. when the renovation finish, you cant stay with this money.

The breakfast was lovely and fresh with plenty to choice from - hot bacon, eggs and beans or cold cuts, salad fruit and yoghurt, pastries and coffee. Rooms were fresh and clean, as was the rest of the Botel, really impressed with it. Location was lovely, ten minutes free ferry from Amsterdam central which was no hassle to get. Superb

Maybe coffee and tea facilities in the room? However this is a minor thing as nothing else came to mind. There is a supermarket two minutes away that does coffee or even at the bar. So I’m being picky!

Extremely clean and staff were very helpful. We flew in early in the morning and our room wasnt ready for check in( we knew this would be the case) so we left our luggage in the luggage room and went off exploring for the day. When we got back late that night we then checked in and it wasnt a problem. There is a city tax which they ask you to pay first as your checking in. We stayed Friday to sunday and it was €12 for the two of us. The rooms are small and basic but are functional all the same, great value for money in my opinion. You need to get a boat from central station back and forth from the Botel but its FREE, we really enjoyed this aspect but it may not suit everyone. Overall, for value and experience we highly recommend.

It is really fun as a concept, great ambiance. Very clean and nice bathrooms and showers, and all textile. Intelligently made shelf and lamp by the bunk bed. The bed is comfy. Sweet personnel. The ferry just beside the hotel. Cool street art area and museum nearby.

1st floor of the bunk bed felt low. My suitcase (medium sized) didn’t fit under the bed (at all other hostels it did). Some basic soap in the shower/bathroom could be a great addition.

loved how simple it was to get to with the free ferry. it was clean and just what we needed. the beds are comfy but the bunk beds squeak a lot and hurt to climb up and down. staff are friendly and helpful and we loved the bar area and fuseball table!

the walls are very thin and we got woken up constantly by other guests going past our room as well as the cleaners in the morning.

The room was clean and modern. The location was great and the ferry was fun and not a pain as we thought it might be. We didn't have the breakfast. The staff are absolutely excellent. We were able to store our luggage after we checked out which was really helpful as we had a late flight.

There were people hanging around in front at night which made us feel uncomfortable with our two teenage daughters. They didn't say or do anything but were clearly under the influence of something and at night the place had a youth hostel vibe.

Only a 15 minute free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal, we loved getting the ferry at the start and end of the day as the views were amazing! Hotel itself was clean and changed towels and bedsheets daily. We were on the ground floor which meant we were at canal level and would often wake up to see swans and other birds sailing past our window which was quite magical! We had two bunkbeds between three of us in a secure room that we could access with a card key with enough space for us all.

Bathroom was serviceable but maybe a bit on the small side, we had to be careful where to aim the shower head or we'd accidentally flood the bathroom
